Such a shame that this relies on CoT. It's hard to find good looking ENBs that have night/predator vision support and are up to date :(

Yeah, honestly, I wasn't sure there was any difference between vanilla and current STEP in those comparison shots... And I honestly think Ren's shrines should replace Mystery Modder's shrines in STEP Core, but that's not my call :p I'll personally be using the alternate Akatosh, Mara, Arkay, Julianos, and Talos. But your choices do indeed stick to the vanilla feel more.

DROPPED aMidianBorn Farmhouse (by CaBaL)

Just in case any non-English-speaking-as-a-native-tongue want to know .... generally, a few of the many options might be: 'joints', 'seams', 'crevices', 'boundaries', 'interstices' ... probably many more :P Anyway, this mod definitely is a contender in many regards (I hate the idea of mixing/matching the best of everything though, since tiny details and styles differ ... but TPC does it I suppose) Thanks for the info :)crevice was indeed the word I was thinking of. -

Then I'm screwed. I can't get my head around that program, I just don't get it, lol.If you use the deadly dragons mod, there's an option in its mcm menu to make important npcs immortal.Ew, lol, no thank you, I am not a hardcore gamer :DOops, missed your reply, sorry. Well, you could still install deadly dragons' loremonger edition and set it to make dragons keep their vanilla stats in the MCM menu if you're really desperate for a way to make important npcs essential without breaking all other mods that affect the same NPCs and without having to fiddle with TES5Edit. :) -
Classic Shell is just for the start menu, not for the desktop style. I'm perfectly happy with the Metro desktop style :3 But Aero just doesn't look great, plus it goes berserk whenever you start a gpu intensive game, and sometimes stays in that non-transparent state after you close the game (especially with the Battlefield series)

GDO is compatible, though you'll have to grab a compatibility patch for CCO/WAF on one of the mods' pages. I don't remember which. EDIT : The patch can be found on WAF's page, just checked. -
That's kinda funny. I had some problems with my old gpu on Win8 and had to downgrade to win7, but then Win8.1 fixed it. And with Classic Shell + disabled metro, it just feels like a faster Win7 without the aero bull.

Just copy an existing one and delete everything that's in it via TES5Edit :p -

- Open Wrye Bash via Mod Organizer- Select SR Conflict Resolution.esp - Click on the Masters pane on the right and dismiss the warning. - Scroll down the masters until you find aMidianBorn_Book of Silence_CCO.esp listed. - Right click on that, and select change to. - Change it to aMidianborn_ContentAddon.esp - Click the save button under the masters pane. - ??? - Profit! Also, in case you are removing a mod and not replacing it, you can create an empty esp file, and use that to replace an existing master of SR Conflict Resolution.esp, then use TES5Edit to check for errors and fix them manually. -
It's from the Smooth blades draw and sheath mod, in the audio section of STEP.

By post limits, do you mean the number of posts per topic? Cause that can be changed in IPB (A forum I frequent has a topic with 238,613 replies on the same topic, and it's running on IPB 3.2)

"AnvilDencheckjusticar" If you're using Mod Organizer, open the data tab, scroll down to the scripts folder, and check which mod adds that script. If not, try googling that script instead... Also, "0C01ED3C", that indicates that whatever is causing that script to fail is in position 0C (first 2 values of the ID).

Except IPB isn't what people are complaining about here :p

It works differently on Windows 8. In Windows 7, selecting Never Notify will make all applications launch as if they were Run as Administrator. In Windows 8, you still have to right-click and Run as Administrator. I dual-boot using both.If you don't use the Metro apps, you can disable UAC totally and even remove the permission prompts that appear whenever you touch any file in Program Files.

I haven't used it, just giving directions. And I was just warning him, because the mod came out before the esm-fied version of the USKP ^^ -

Yeah but you can't put it up higher than the USKP, and since it does edit every single NPC record to add the protected flag, well it also overrides all the changes the USKP did to those entries. Just open it up in TES5Edit and you'll see a lot of red. -

That mod does override a lot of entries from the USKP though. -

Thanks for the suggestion :)I actually saw that one while searching, and imho it does add too much flora in a city that was bare. For example the deathbell in front of every house when deathbells are supposed to grow mainly in the swamps of Hjaalmarch... I did search, but the problem is actually that it's hard to find the gems in the midst of all the results :pAnyway, Real Cities and Ultimate whiterun both look very nice, I'll be giving these a try ingame and in TES5Edit. Thanks a bunch :) -
Or he's got a server laying around and thought he might as well use it to play Skyrim :p

Oh just something that would add some actual life to the city, such as stalls, crates or clutter like that. Maybe a couple NPCs too. As I said, I've looked at Dawn of Whiterun but didn't really like the patio that it added to the bannered mare :/
