  1. Status by MannyGT is also a great mod for troubleshooting issues.
  2. As always in cases like this, my suggestion is to install MFG console and selecting the object in the console, that'll give you the name of the first .esp that placed the item, plus the the name of the last esp that modified the item.
  3. From the Oblivion Realm Serie - Solitude Gate mod page:
  4. Errr, the formID of the barrel you mentioned is actually in Dawnstar...I've also loaded up v10 of ETaC + the NSutR+SMIM patch with Jenna's textures ingame with the rest of the mods in REGS, and this is what I get at the place: https://www.dropbox.com/s/j0f7sk9sslp0hqu/2014-05-06_00006.jpgNo duplicate walkways to be found, either...
  5. I'm guessing you mean ETaC - Complete LOS Patch. It's not really a problem, you'll just be missing a couple of lanterns. For some reason, an older version of the patch was updated... It'll be fixed, but for the moment just ignore the obnoxious fountain, I guess :P It's not floating on my end... I see it on the walkway in front of the house :| Bloody typical...Thanks, it's now fixed.I've also been unable to reproduce the walkway issue you have: https://www.dropbox.com/s/j7aojmqzqsweqwz/2014-05-06_00004.jpg (This is using vanilla textures + SMIM + NSutR patch)
  6. Update: That looks like 2 planks are at the same place, I'll have to check it in the CK.
  7. Volkiharcountessf_0.nif is actually unused. I've fixed VolkiharCountess_1.nif and will include it as a hotfix in version 3.3.4 of the patches. Thanks Too much potential for conflict with mods already in the guide as well as various popular player homes... Thanks, fixed that for 3.3.4 (which I'll upload shortly). Not anymore, you can use the patch I uploaded earlier. Thanks again, I've updated that patch. Getting a bit lost with all the stuff that has to be monitored with ETaC. :/ From what I've seen so far, the game will just ignore the record if it can (but you'll probably end up with partially naked NPCs in the case of outfits/inventory). Have you installed Raven Rock Expanded? This looks like you just installed the replacer but without the base mod, which would explain why all the custom textures added by it are missing... Ah, good catch, this might be why the map is kinda weird for people who use both mods (both BOSS and LOOT sort the oblivion gates mod last)I'll add a note to put the DG entrance mod after the oblivion gates.
  8. For people wishing to use the complete version of ETaC 10 (including Winterhold) together with EWDR, here's an updated version of the patch. https://www.dropbox.com/s/lc9gf01n65stdfh/ETaC%20-%20Complete%20EWDR%20Patch.esp Note that (obviously) it won't work if you install the replacer file that's in in the patches (the one which removes Winterhold from ETaC - Complete). I have no time to reply to any of the previous messages right now as I'm busy in the CK, so I'll do that later.
  9. Except system requirements are not the only reason why people would not use ENB (Quite the opposite actually, you'd want to get ENBoost if your system is weak) I was thinking of compatibility with programs that add overlays, some of the dual GPU laptops, and other post-processors (like RCRN).
  10. Hint: Open a mod's page, and click the permission button under the download count.
  11. Why not keep it for people who won't/can't use any form of ENB (even ENBoost)? It might be redundant, but it's not breaking anything, nor is it taking an esp slot.
  12. That's actually intentional, it's because ETaC - Morthal adds a smith, and 3DNPC adds another smith to the town, but in another house, so the patch disables the ETaC smith + smithy and adds some random items there instead. (plus a navmesh, I think)
  13. Ah, the error with the 3DNPC patch would be because the lights have been deleted from the esm, so it's not managing to move one of the lights. You can just delete the record in question for the moment. Even keeping it won't cause issues except for the fact that you can't merge the file if you do keep it.As for the EDWR patch, I'll have to consult Jenna about it because I don't know what could have caused it. Yeah it was considered at the start, but it turned out this patch is for an outdated version of LoS.Glory to Arstotzka! I don't. Had to give up on using some mods, there's only that many plugins one can merge. :(Using the guide with STEP Extended should be fine when it comes to the plugin count though. And even leave enough slots to add something like SkyRe. Thanks, I'll have a look at this in the morning. No, it won't break them. The patches are mainly for compatibility between Interesting NPCs, Nernie's cities, Cutting Room Floor, Windhelm Lighthouse, and Skyrim Sewers anyway. ^ 100% correct.
  14. You should avoid any thread named after the books then, just to be on the safe side and not end up with 10k spoilers
  15. REGS' fomod installer didn't even work with the garbage that NMM's fomod installer in the earlier version, so I'm with DoubleYou on this: Tannin's fomod installer should always be used whenever you can avoid using the NCC one.
  16. I can't blame you, I'm at the point where I'm hypnotized by a GIF for 10 minutes now, that's how much I've got to do... BTW, Falskaar addon for Hearthfires chimneys is back up, so I added a BUM rule for that.
  17. Technically, if they continue to release a season of the show per year, he'll soon be under even more pressure to HURRY UP AND WRITE THE DAMN NEXT BOOK ALREADY. ...
  18. Yep, ETaC patches are up (finally, hurrah for Time Warner, even my shitty 3rd world ISP would have let me upload that faster) as well as the Hearthfires Chimneys update.I was going to add the chimneys module for Falskaar to the guide, but it's nowhere to be found on the mod page at the moment...EDIT: Ninjas everywhere.Concerning FaTT 2, it's not coming back unless MadFrenchie fixes the Bloodlet Throne CTD (I've been unable to fix it, except by deleting half of the stuff that the mod adds in there). Now I know MadFrenchie is MIA on the nexus, but apparently he's still active on the workshop (I can see a comment of his on FaTT 2 from the 26th of April) and he did say that he'd look into the issues (Page 4 of the comments here)
  19. I use the another sorting mod myself, but I don't think any sorting mod covers all the mods you've mentioned. A small bit of advice though (to save yourself from having to patch stuff): Put whatever sorting mod you choose to go for at the bottom of your load order. Uncheck its plugin, then use Wrye Bash to give it a Names tag, then rebuild your bashed patch (still with the sorting mod esp disabled). That will effectively copy the names of all items in the bashed patch without overwriting changes done by other mods to the items, or using more plugins.
  20. @phryxolydian: You installed the inns version of ETaC in addition to Perseid's inns, there's the source of the problem. (And I would bet that's why you landed underground in the earlier screenshot, as a conflicting door record + navmesh could send you somewhere where you're not supposed to be.) Also, don't use the ELFX - No Taverns, use RRR's patch instead. @Keith: The fix for Bjorsi is in ETaC 10, but there was nothing wrong with the blacksmith's packages... And concerning FaTT, it does not have a quest at all, it's just there for you to explore and use the notes to figure out what to do. No compass markers, no nothing :) EDIT: Forgot to post what I came here to post about in the first place: - ETaC has been updated to v10 (which doesn't have Falkreath at all, since that's being rebuilt). Patches are still getting uploaded so the instructions might not use the correct name for the Inns & Taverns patch. - Hearthfire Chimneys for ETaC required an update as well, so I sent that to Scarla. Hopefully she'll get my PM soon and upload the updated version. - Falksaar has been updated (DG patch no longer required, among other things)
  21. Good guess, you effectively need to do that quest for them to speak to you. I'll report those two to Jenna. For the record, the blacksmith is not talking because his eating or his sandboxing package must be lacking the "greet player" behavior, and the other NPC probably uses a voicetype that doesn't have hunter lines recorded for it. The Dragonmourn inn belongs to the Dragonborn (Which is why the author recommends not playing that quest until you get to the Thalmor embassy). This should probably have been handled with a faction change, but then it would mean the mod would have to be scripted, and everyone flips their **** when you mention the word script in Skyrim modding. As for people reporting errors, I've not encountered any while playing through that mod, and I'd say that most people tend to blame their own stupidity on the first mod they happen upon, I've completely stopped believing "reports" on the nexus for that reason.
  22. Keep in mind that those videos are actually streams where he's trying to keep up with 1000+ persons on the chat at the same time. Also the reason why he dismissed the Immersive College of Wintehold mod is because of it not being on the suggestions page, which resulted in a great number of people asking for it not to be tested before the more requested mods were showcased (seriously, the chat exploded when he was going to test it). Also ETaC's patches were down (being updated by Jenna) when he downloaded ETaC, which explains why he missed them.
  23. None of the mods in REGS affect Markarth, except for the Sewers mod that adds manholes there. That mesh could be caused by Project Parallax as well, if you use that (there are a couple of meshes with problems in that mod) As for the smelters, if you're using the cities portion of the guide, you don't need a mod to add a smelter to solitude either, seeing as how there's one included in REGS - Cities.
  24. Skyrim.esm and Dawnguard.esm are both contained in the Better NPCs BSA file (since the better NPCs affects characters from both those esm files)
  25. There is no difference between 2.7.0 and 2.7. Both mean the same thing.
