Buying assembled PC is always a bad idea, no exceptions. The trouble is that either crappy components are used, the upgradability is close to zero, the price is pointlessly high, or the performance is not optimal because of poor choice of components. Even if you don't know jack sh** about computers, it's still better to pay someone who does to assemble something for you.

Out of curiosity, why that order? I don't see BCS overwriting a single file.The BCS Optional Paper Textures overwrite 4 textures in HQ PaperI should had made myself more clear. I was surprised by suggesting putting the main Books before HQ Paper.

I thought so. It's not like it will help me much, because my mods folder already has 80000 files in it, but every bit helps. I don't want to imagine how long will it take to back that stuff up :D edit: Interesting NPCs was not the best example, because the bsa is actually pretty small. The rest, however, is 38000 files. LOL ouch.

If I have a SSD, shall I expect pretty much identical performance with bsa and loose files? I figured I'd keep specific mods that do not overwrite anything and would have thousands of files if extracted, like Interesting NPCs, in bsa form to keep the (already ridiculous) amount of files in mod folder somewhat under control if I can help it.

Speaking of chat and IRC, aren't those a bit too 1995 or so? I mean, of course _some_ old fashioned people still use them, but I haven't heard of anyone even mention that in past ten years. Heck, I bet majority of internet population nowadays doesn't even know what IRC is.

Heh, I can't decide whether to use this or enhanced version of Room Rental service by Perseid. Either I can have some interesting features when it comes to inns, or I can have many more revamped interiors than just inns. What do others use? And actually Expanded Towns and Cities change inns as well. That's even tougher choice.

Where would you put CoT in the mod list in MO? At the bottom maybe?

I assume the screenshots in the wiki show the different presets, but again, links are broken - apparently after the recent Nexus changes. Could someone fix them please? Is it safe to just select the default one and be done with it?
