  1. I need to improve the SKSE section using the Wiki guide as refereance Anyway, you have probably installed SKSE in the wrong place, here's the guide:
  2. you are right, i didn't notice it because i use RCRN which adds both snow and road snow textures, overwriting SRO and 2k. i've updated the SRO COMPILER ADVICE adding to also extract the 2 snow roads textures, along with the other landscape files.
  3. I've removed spell fixes, leather fix for next update, updated the esburn

This mod will be added in the "popular but not STEP recommended mods" because of two problems: potential CtD and shadow striping originated by new light sourced (expecially with the ini value iBlurDeferredShadowMask= set to 1) It is surely a mod to keep an eye on, and i hope it'll be essential in the near future or when they will manage to also fix the remaning vanilla striping problem amplyfied by the new light added.
  6. Dammit, I hope the team will accomplish the task, that utility was very handy. Anyway, we need a team specialized in conflict hunting, using both the CK and testing ingame, for new mods (expecially future gameplay packs).
  7. I disperately need TES5Edit to check conflicts. I don't know if there is another way since i'm not experienced with the CK or other program like TESSnip.
  8. Ok, i've discovered the crashes are 100% caused by Birds and Flocks mod. If you want to use SkyTest disable Birds and Flocks, even if it says in the SkyTest description it is 100% compatible. You won't lose anything since SkyTest already includes new birds spawns.
  9. I've tried to start a new game and ctd always happen at some specific points. i can isolate the conflicting mod/s.
  10. That's it Beald! I also have to report that SkyTest causes tons of CtD with STEP (at least for me), because of multimod compatibility issues probably. I've isolated many of those ctd and removing SkyTest always solves them. Same with Real Wildlife.
  11. I'm personally already using this, but i consider this a concept change/decision and not a fix/balance mod. So maybe can be included in a later "realism" mod section, not in basic STEP which is focused on visual, bug-fixing and vanilla balance preservation.
  12. Doesn't look like a design change, but a sort of fix. Definitely worth it, unless some major balance issues are discovered. EDIT: Now i recall I also used the New Vegas version of this

  14. It is also my concern, we need someone expert with CK for checking directly compatibility issues.

It's different from Birds flock mod in the sense that this one adds interactive items (animals) which do have an influence on the gameplay (as you described). but i agree that this actually is worth, since the vanilla game had really few animals, probably to save performance for the console-impaired buddies :P So yes, it's a candidate for next STEP.

  19. Oh my! This is a HUGE work and it'll be linked in STEP! You need to add another pp mod though, which i'll release soon, it's an addon for RCRN ;)

  21. Great catch! PS: Seems tailored for STEP since, as Drache pointed out, no mods still covers those textures, and the quality is okay. Definitely a must-have!
