Look at the posts on "infinite loading screen" or similar wording as that is what is happening to your game. It is typically solved without having to redo portions of the game, but you may have to try a number of potential solutions before finding one that works. When it happens to me, the first thing I usually do is to revert the Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini files to their original states and see if this fixes the problem. If it does, then you can gradually add the tweaks you use making sure that the saved games load.

It would be helpful if you also showed a screenshot with the vanilla rack so we can compare. Thanks

ACCEPTED The Elder Scrolls V: Dawnguard Rewritten - Arvak (by Oriius)

I've been using the Breezehome Fully Upgradable mod, which I like for the enchanter table as well as other features, and I need a large value of iLargeIntRefCount or I get the infinite loading bug when I try to enter the house.

As z mentioned, the site can be posted here only if it is one where mod author, or someone with the mod author's permission, is the uploader.

Best way to diagnose cause of game crash?
Kelmych replied to peppergomez's question in General Skyrim LE Support
If you want to run with 2Kx2K textures it is likely best to have 64 bit Windows and more than 4Gb RAM so that RAM use is less of a problem; I expect you already know this of course. -
The DDSopt guide recommends that you make two folders (outside of the Skyrim folder), an "Original Vanilla BSAs" folder and an "Optimized Vanilla BSAs" folder. Whenever you optimize a vanilla BSA put a copy of the original BSA in one and a copy of the optimized BSA in the other. This makes it easy to switch between them when needed (by copying the appropriate one to the Skyrim\Data folder).

Fallout New Vegas - any STEP-like modding guides out there?
Kelmych replied to rootsrat's topic in General Game Discussion
I haven't seen any good FNV lists. Here are some of the major FNV mods I use and recommend (not in order of importance): Project Nevada DUINV NVEC Complete + NVCE (bugfixes + a large set of useful small mods all integrated) NVInteriors Combo Edition WMX Nevada Skies UWWLified Vurt's Wasteland Flora AWOP EVE (now in NVEC) NMC's Texture Pack (there are also 2 other good large scale retexture mods; take your pick) Electro-City CASM:NV with MCM Improved Ammo Crafting Interior Lighting Overhaul More Perks Merge Weapon Retexture Project all the fix/ small mods from Puce Moose: SpeedE Wheels, GRA right to bear arms, PMT mods (most) HUD mods: One HUD, uHUD, Weapon mod menu, MCM Best (IMO) Quest mod (2 chapters available, 3rd chapter arrives soon): Tales from the Burning Sand Body mods: I use Dimonized Type 3 Body Replacer, Lings and Project Mikoto hair small mods: New Vegas Reanimated New Vegas Extended Map Markers Oven Cooking Jacobstown expanded imps time scale adjuster HiRes clutter pack FlashlightNVSE Existance Canteen NPC Project FO3 Perks HiRes Chems and Health retexture NCR Retexture Realistic Repair Improved Sound FX There are other small mods and lots of mod patches for DLCs that I didn't list, and some additional good texture & quest mods, etc. I haven't checked any of these with the new FNVEdit yet but I will likely check some of them since FNVEdit is much more capable with the recent improvements. -
VoicesExtra primarily contains voices for some of the main Skyrim quests (MQ202-MQ205, , MQ301-MQ302); it is not part of any DLC. Even if somehow this is not essential for your variant of Skyrim, the problem you are having is a missing file and you need to determine what the missing file is.

Skyrim Project Optimization helps primarily with lowend systems, as discussed in the thread on this mod. Before running either Optimizer Textures or DDSopt to reduce texture sizes, make sure you loaded the versions of the mods appropriate to the capabilities of the system you are using. The quality of the textures after an optimizer is used isn't as high as similar resolution textures from the original mod author. Many mods that change textures offer several resolution options.

You need to check manually; WB doesn't keep track of mod versions. One way to do this is to click the Modified column in the Installers tab to show which mods were recently added, then install the appropriate set of recently installed mods and uninstall the old versions. You can use the MoveTo command, or drag and drop if you first click the Order column, to put the newly installed mod in the correct installation order.

Crashing during the initial game load means there is a missing file. I tried launching Skyrim without Skyrim - VoicesExtra.bsa and I get an immediate CTD. I don't know what to suggest other than redoing the Verify Integrity of Game Cache step in Steam. You might try renaming a small BSA like Skyrim - shaders.bsa before validating the cache and then seeing if the verification step restores this file; this would help prove that the verification is working correctly (or not).

You can either manually change the load order or use BOSS Userlist Manager to create new load order rules that BOSS will use; you will see this discussed in Skyrim Revisited

If the Bashed Patch is active and Traps Make Noise has a checkmark, click the checkbox and the checkmark should change to a plus sign (indicating that is merged). Typically the Skyrim Wrye Bash can't merge any mods that it doesn't automatically detect as mergeable. To answer another question, when a BCF runs there is always an error message even when it successfully runs .

Yes, it could be fixed with a simple patch.Â

I don't see the purple sky effect in your screens. I believe that this is the way it is supposed to look. ENB helps though. Kelmych, can you confirm? I looked from High Hrothgar and I see similar horizon effects. My impression is that the horizon line itself is the top of the "band" you see, and the rest of the band is just stuff too far away to see distinctly but not sky.

I like that it changes the colors of robes providing some diversity to the different priest groups. It changes the robes on 21 priests. There are a few small problems with it: it overwrites (ignores) changes to Senna added in Update.esm in Skyrim 1.5 that, along with some other small changes, made Senna essential,it has a conflict with Consistent Older People on two priests (Alessandra and Nura),like most mods, it doesn't include any of the small Unofficial Skyrim patch changes, andlike almost all mods, it overwrites the changes made by Bring Out your Dead.

SKYRIMLE TTYM - Think To Yourself Messages (by VorpalBlades)
Kelmych replied to Yggdrasilion's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
As the author mentions on the description, there is still a little work to do to make the messages consistent with a few other (non-STEP) mods. If you use Frostfall I suggest having TTYM before Frostfall in load order, although it isn't a big deal. -
You can use shift click to select a contiguous set of mods and/or control click to select individual ones.
-
When you install a mod in Wrye Bash it does not automatically activate the mod; you need to manually activate it. You can activate multiple mods at a time if you want.

Discussion thread: Unknown Enchants by NoxMentis Wiki Link SkyUI 3.2 added small eye cons after book names indicating books/notes that have been read. The Unknown Enchants mod adds a "(U)" after any items (in a container or character inventory) that have magical effects that were not already learned through disenchanting at an enchanting table. This helps avoid having to bring a large set of object to an enchanting table just to see if the effects they carry have previously been disenchanted. The mod uses scripts which run when you load a savegame; it does not save any data or scripts to the savegame itself. The mod takes a while to finish its initial computations, and it periodically notes completion percentage to the upper left corner. Accepted for STEP 2.2.6 --Thanks go mainly to Kelmych and Omalong for providing details and testing.

Before I import the GPU-Z log into Excel I first open it in Notepad++ and eliminate the extra blank rows (every other row is blank). After I do this I import into Excel with a comma delimiter.

I prefer to use the Skyrim Community Uncapper as it effectively allows you to use only the important skills, and you don't have to drop a skill level back to 15. With uncapper you can change the weighting for skills you don't use, and simultaneously increase it for those you do use, so that skills you don't plan to use are much less important.

DROPPED Unique Region Names (by Thingy Person)
Kelmych replied to blacksol's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I use version 3 and there aren't any problems, but some users have concerns about the accuracy of the region names.
