HD Enhanced Terrain has been updated and no longer has Type 1 and Type 2 files. It's now 1K vs 2K texture sizes. It also includes a texture file for snow in the map.

DROPPED Terrain Bump - Texture Pack (by SparrowPrince)

Are you really sure about that? I just did a quick compare of the file sizes and the *compatible version* Â is about 20mb smaller than the original UHRP. I see that some of the change might be through losing the compression that a bsa provides. But 20mb?That link is for a quote of the mod author. I'm pretty sure he knows what he's talking about.

WATER's Dragonborn Add-On already does that.

Buildings in Falkreath are made of wood for a reason you know. It's unrealistic (not to mention impractical and expensive) for them to use so much stone smack-dab in a heavily forested area.

DROPPED Jewels of the Nord (by Pfaffendrill)
rpsgc replied to mothergoose729's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Skyrim's technology? Who knows. It surely was possible during our late medieval period (14-15th century) Examples: https://www.insecula.com/PhotosNew/00/00/02/17/ME0000021787_3.JPG https://www.bildindex.de/bilder/MI07909f05a.jpg https://media.vam.ac.uk/media/thira/collection_images/2009BY/2009BY8421_jpg_l.jpg https://www.artfund.org/images/cache/800x442_004425_011548_0.jpg https://www.larsdatter.com/rings-3.htm -
DROPPED Jewels of the Nord (by Pfaffendrill)
rpsgc replied to mothergoose729's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Quick (and I mean quick) comparison shots: Necklaces: Jewels of the Nord > Vanilla (STEP doesn't have a mod that changes the necklaces) Rings: Jewels of the Nord > Yuril's (with JotN's meshes) > Yuril's (with vanilla meshes) > Vanilla (with JotN's meshes) > Vanilla (with vanilla meshes) I'm using the official HR texture pack for the vanilla shots. Jewels of the Nord includes high polygon (HQ) meshes for the rings, the difference is night and day. -
If using the HR-DLC Optimized, yes. In a nutshell: HR-DLC Optimized » Use Compatible version Official HR-DLC » Use UHRP

Turns out that optional file is just a loose files version of the UHRP Proof: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/561890-bethesda-hi-res-dlc-optimized-endorsements/?p=7330512 I noticed... I just didn't bother until nowÂ

Harvest Overhaul by Omeletter This mod lets you harvest more than one (alchemy) ingredient each time. How much more depends on the type and size of the plant/bush. It's not supposed to be unbalanced. It also has an optional file for creatures (hunting) where they drop more meat/tusks/etc and it removes gold from their inventories (makes sense to me). 'Deadly Spell Impacts' optional "Frost +10% Transparency" was apparently responsible for freezing my game when magic was used. Removing it = no freezing so far and it only began freezing when I started using the optional file. If it doesn't effect you, good for you. And yes, frost effects/magic caused my game to freeze, ha ha, go ahead and laugh, I don't care. :ox:

Shouldn't 'HRDLC Optimized' have a note saying use the 'Unofficial High Resolution Patch --COMPATIBLE VERSION--' optional file? 'Closer Quivers & Longer Arrows' has Dragonborn support. It should be added to the notes. 'Greatsword Sheathes & Scabbards' --> 'Greatsword Sheaths & Scabbards'. :ox: 'More Village Animals' has been cleaned by the author, the warning should be removed.

SKYRIMLE Realistic Lighting Overhaul (by The Realistic Lighting Team)
rpsgc replied to Kelmych's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Saying "In my opinion/I think it's not realistic" is different than "It's not realistic". One is your opinion, the other is passing your opinion as fact. And I'll leave it at that. It's become apparent it's not worth pursuing it further. -

@torminater So, yes. @MontyMM It's his mod, his hard work. You don't have to praise, or be supportive, but at least make sure your criticism is constructive. Saying it sucks just because, or it's not realistic because you say so isn't constructive. I just find it upsetting how people can so easily dismiss (to put it mildly) someone else's work. -

Dragonborn optional file is up (I had it done within a few hours of DB but I had to wait for MadCat221 to update his mod, I can't edit 3D objects) -

Which lighting mod / ENB combination do you use?
rpsgc replied to rootsrat's topic in General Skyrim LE Discussion & Support
Realistic Lighting Overhaul with RLwC 3.5 weathers and custom SkyRealism config (from TheCompiler's RCRN Plus). But SkyRealism Vanilla is my second choice. -

I'm seeing texture files for creatures and races from the base game, Dawnguard and Dragonborn (besides Dragonborn textures) EDIT:Â The other packs were updated too! I'm seeing textures for Dawnguard & Hearthfire in file #2 :D
