ACCEPTED Dead Body Collision Fix (by LargeStyle)
rpsgc replied to rootsrat's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Fus Ro Dah it! :ox: -
Saving in qasmoke was what did it for me at the time, IIRC.
-
But he only updated the 'Summer Edition'. So unless he made a mistake, the collision fix only applied to the 'Summer Edition' and not the regular edition thus making it irrelevant to STEP.
-
Redferne, try this: Before creating save 2 (step 5), open the console and type 'coc qasmoke'. Try to save there and see if it works.

Average value is 4 or 5. Only three plants have a maximum value of more than 7 ingredients.

z929669, If you're so adamant in sticking with the STEP mandate, no ifs or buts, then you have to remove 'Ars Metallica' from STEP as it does similar than what you accuse 'Harvest Overhaul' of doing. I can melt pretty much all the weapons, ammo and armour I have to make new ingots. So why mine the ore or buy ingots when I can just melt everything I find? And this: https://forum.step-project.com/showthread.php?tid=1791&pid=26180#pid26180

How does getting 2/3/4 flowers from a bush breaks immersion but getting only 1 flower from a bush with a dozen or so, doesn't?
-
By that logic 'Ars Metallica' shouldn't be in STEP either. It makes smithing easy.

SKYRIMLE Real-time Dragon Fast Travel - Dragonborn (by Keldis)
rpsgc posted a topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Real-time Dragon Fast Travel - Dragonborn by Keldis Like the name says, it allows you to actually see the dragon fly to its destination (and enjoy the ride), as opposed to 'fade to black, appear at destination'. There are two versions: normal (you have to use 'Bend Will' on a dragon you encounter) or with a spell that summons a dragon. It requires Dragonborn (obviously). z929669, What about the separate creature mod? That doesn't effect any skill. And it removes gold from wild life.

All the options were disabled. This is because it's a scripted mod and most scripted mods have this potential of staying in your saves. He provide the workaround for cleaning your saves before you delete the mod (and it should say before you disable the ESP). Before disabling and deleting you have to load any saves that you might want to load, disable the mod in that save, resave it, and then you can disable and delete the mod safely without issues. I've tested this and it works for me. Did you follow this instructions for all your saves?I didn't miss it, I just left it out because it wasn't relevant as I wasn't talking about previous saves. I: Deactivated the mod in the MCM menu;Created save 1 and exited the game;Disabled the .esp;Loaded save 1;Created save 2. At this point it takes more time than usual.Tried to load save 2, Skyrim says it's corrupted (and half the size it's supposed to be). It's easy to mess things up. And the average user isn't very patient or technically minded. They'll just blame STEP for it.

I can't recommend this mod for STEP, not right now. It's still too buggy. Standing in an open field without a creature in sight and the character's head starts moving from one side to the other, looking at nothing. Or inside a house, twisting the neck all the way to the side to look at an exterior wall, or a mannequin on the floor above on the opposite side of the house. And I'm experiencing first hand how it can corrupt save games after removing it, even when following the instructions. You might say it only effects "a handful of people", but that's a handful too many.

Question about 2.F Conflicting Graphics
rpsgc replied to AsheRayne's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Yes. Install all of them, in order. -
Welcome to the forum. 'Serious HD' has a note because the Riften textures are listed under optional files in that mod page. The components of 'Skyrim HD' are all main files. Unless stated otherwise, use all of them.

Whats with the important and normal threads in the mod suggestion section?
rpsgc replied to EisDrache's question in Forum Support
Answer: https://forum.step-project.com/showthread.php?tid=1786&pid=25026#pid25026 They're not important. The forum software merely calls stickied threads 'Important Threads'. But don't look at me, I wanted a sub-forum for those mods under consideration. -
Cosmetic differences only.

Likely because CoT used to be included... think they skipped adding new weather mods this release. LDTS was already in STEP last release I believe. 'Lightning During Thunder Storms' was only added in 2.2.1 (current release).https://wiki.step-project.com/Changelog/2.2.1 'Real Rain' goes well with it.
-
Is there a concrete reason why this mod was never included in STEP? Or was it simply forgotten? You know, since 'Lightning During Thunder Storms' was included and all...

DROPPED Jewels of the Nord (by Pfaffendrill)
rpsgc replied to mothergoose729's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Worst case scenario you could instruct users to just install the meshes. Jewels of the Nord includes meshes for all (8) ring types, both ground objects (go) and regular object (as seen on the player character I presume). Higher-Poly Skyrim includes meshes for 4 ring types (plus one generic 'ring' I can't identify) but only the ground object. Comparison: JotN >Â Higher-Poly Skyrim JotN's meshes appear rounder. -

DROPPED Terrain Bump - Texture Pack (by SparrowPrince)
rpsgc replied to z929669's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I can only imagine people reading 'paddle' and thinking: "What the deuce?! Ice paddles? Madness!" -
HD Enhanced Terrain has been updated and no longer has Type 1 and Type 2 files. It's now 1K vs 2K texture sizes. It also includes a texture file for snow in the map.
