  1. No, that's not the one. It was one that removed every "annoying" (to the author) magic comment from NPCs directed to the player such as that "Are you a wizard?" one. Don't remember how exactly I came across the mod, I only remember it was a long Nexus browsing session. Tried looking in my browser history but somehow I can't find it there either.. weird.
  2. Can't say I agree much at all with HRDLC being better than this mod. I've been using the 1k version for a while and I vastly prefer it to vanilla. I know the mod page has a ton of comparison screens but here's a few I've taken: Personally I don't get why Cabal''s armor retextures are in Core and there's no clothing retext in the guide at all. If anything, it should be the armors that look like they've been worn and used in battles, not common clothes and not noble clothes.
  3. I recently stumbled upon a mod that completely stopped NPCs from greeting you with all mage related comments like "Are you wizard? From the College?" etc because the modder was apparently very annoyed by them. At the time I remember thinking "Who would care about this?" ... and now I can't seem to find it.
  4. @lazygecko and Nearox: You're both welcome! I have added just a few more comp. shots to the album from inside Understone Keep, so go check 'em out! OT: Understone Keep Fountains and Rubble really should be part of STEP Extended, what the heck is up with all that fog and crap laying around in vanilla?
  5. I do like these. The only real "issue" I have is that I wish the moss was in a darker green but, other than that, I remember I really liked pretty much everything else when I tested. Specially in the below example, which DY pointed out, the improvement is, I think, rather apparent. I remember in one of Bethesda's CK tutorial videos the guy who was presenting said that rubble was the most widely used resource in Skyrim (or something along those lines) and the original really looks terrible when compared to amb's.
  6. Yes, clean it. Updated wiki page. See?! I wasn't the only one!
  7. Which is why it makes no sense that you can craft Dwemer armor/weapons! Who exactly gives such advance knowledge to the player? Here's what it would look like with current STEP:
  8. I really hope that's the texture from RCI (I can't be totally sure since it's so dark) cause otherwise exactly what the heck are you talking about DY?! Anyway, I re-downloaded RCI and you know, I like it. I don't think one is better than the other, just different. Still, I think I like this mod a little bettah. Vanilla > Ruins Clutter Improved > This mod
  9. What about Whiterun windows? VW changes them to yellow.. *runs for cover*
  10. Anyone here tried Better Dwemer Exteriors? Is it any good?
  11. I'll have to test it in-game, then. The vanilla shot also looks completely yellow, btw. (Which doesn't mean I don't like it)
  12. SRO > This mod > Langley's!
  13. I agree! This is an excellent addition! Does this not qualify for testing? The Dwemer spider retext was just added, why is this not?!
  14. Ah, that sun's mesh is pretty nifty. I was going to say I'd like the sun's texture to have different shades of yellow/orange to look more like a sun cause it looks too much like a lamp but I just checked and the dds file does look like fire, why does it look completely yellow in the screenshots?
  15. I don't have any effects folder! What the heck is going on?! Who ninja'd my RCI installation?
  16. From the screenies, excellent work, Aiyen. Ima try it out! Ha! I didn't realize you were the guy from the falmer glow retext, that's brilliant too!
  17. I don't have any ash texture from RCI?
  18. No tags. Hmm.. I wasn't thinking about MMO's philosophy at all when I checked it on TES5Edit. Yeah, I guess it would conflict a little but then really, thaiusmle, you're better off just not installing the creature module at all, I mean, what's the point? However, with You Hunger practically removing any food available in the whole freakin land, hunting is really the way to go and this mod (at least v2.7.1, which I'd been using for god knows how long) doesn't overdo it. I mean, getting 3-4 horker meats from a horker seems reasonable. The thing I never really liked was that you'd found carrots and cabbages when looting elks and boars, like what, they're in pristine condition after they've been digested or what? But I just ignored those so no big deal. What I really liked was that it removed treasure from any creature (no more finding 8 septims inside a wolf!) and added useless stuff like a troll skull when looting amm.. trolls. You Hunger probably also removes treasure from creatures, right?
  19. What is TPC? You can use them together, NSAP is a mesh replacer, this is a texture.
  20. Total Character Makeover I'll just leave that here and walk away... It at least has some good recommendations.
  21. Discussion topic: Invisibility and Eyes Mesh Fix by HHaleyy Wiki Link Something I picked up from Total Character Makeover. Had no idea this was happening!
  22. Ash Pile Retext Unbelievable and simply UNACCEPTABLE for STEP users to be running around without this mod! I simply hadn't realize this wasn't part of STEP, otherwise I'd have pointed it out long ago, I've been using this since forever!
  23. Well, better late than never. I won't be around so much for a while, so I'll leave you guys with these. I only tested the rusty version, let's face it, everyone here is going to flip out saying the clean version is unrealistic and all that jazz so i wasn't about to the extra work. STEP (SRO) > This mod. Here's the rest of the album: https://imgur.com/a/lgkpu#0
  24. Ah, that might be it then. I have more than one profile so yeah, I use local saves. Thanks, RW.
