pack Dreadflopps Modular patches
dreadflopp replied to dreadflopp's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
Thanks! Will get some time tonight to add this and the SPERG/SSR patch/mod. Very helpful! Will copy and paste this to the guide and recommend using the latest improved ini's with this added. -

Interesting, will check if the ETaC patch is compatible when you are not using dragon bridge, as REGS recommends. -

Great! And thanks, very kind. I'll add your patch tomorrow. No time today unfortunately (off to see guardians of the galaxy ☺) -

Thanks, I'll check it out later and add it to the guide. One question. Do we need to deactivate any perks in SPERG? -
Potential mod order problem and the guided fix
dreadflopp replied to dreadflopp's question in Mod Organizer Support
It's a little complicated that's true. And it could lead to problems when removing mods that had files another mod was dependent on. Since there are no actual file conflicts this isn't a solution anyway. -

This sounds great! Regarding the bug, I'll look into it. Not sure I follow you but it might be easier to do when I have it open in TES5. -
Potential mod order problem and the guided fix
dreadflopp posted a question in Mod Organizer Support
I know we are not supposed to care about the "potential mod order problem" warning in MO since the install order in STEP is fine and the warning can be ignored. My concern is that I actually want to use this feature and as a pack author of MMO I have many mods not in STEP installed. I have other packs installed too and want to maintain compatibility with these. I therefore have lots of mods installed and many mod order warnings. I think it would be nice to be able to use this feature to find real install order/mod order problems that I may have. Since STEP now uses LOOT, the load order is more dynamic and it is not possible to have all STEP mods organised in such a way that these warnings disappear for all users when packs/custom mods are installed. My suggestion is this: couldn't we hide the conflicting files from the mods that gives a "false" warning or from mods where the install order is critical, and thus making them install order independent. By doing this we can get rid of the warnings users shouldn't care about and pack authors/users with more custom installs can find actual mod order problems. -

All help is appreciated as my time is limited and I don't get around to do actual gameplay testing. This is mostly done by Garfink and Nicopad but I haven't heard from either of them for awhile now. -

Thanks, since Garfink has been missing for a while, I'll dig into his ini's to see what he has added and see if the new uni's needs to be updated. If anyone has any insight in this, help is appreciated ☺ -

This was garfinks recommendation. I'm on a vacation but I'll be back at my computer at Tuesday. I'll check then to see why this is necessary. -

These patches only fix conflicts between the mods in the file name. "70 Thunderchild - USKP patch.esp" only fixes conflicts between Thunderchild and USKP. -

Some mods main plugin is not needed because CCOR replaces them and has options to add them to the world. New weapons and armors that a mod adds to the leveled list cannot be removed by a patch. That is why we have replacement plugin for some mods. In these replacement plugins some equipment has been removed from the leveled list. By removing the main plugin from mods that CCOR handle you save a plugin slot. Removing the main plugin from these mods are also necessary according to the CCOR instructions. Removing the main plugin from mods that have a replacement plugin is not necessary as long as the replacement is loaded after (lower in MO's left panel) the mod they replace, but removing the plugin solves the file conflict. This means these mods can be loaded in any order and minimise the risk for a user error when installing and reordering mods in MO. -

The replacement patches are for making those mods compatible with morrowloot, I'll edit the guide later to clarify that. -

I think you're supposed to write the name in the [NPCExclusions], not the EditorID. Try entering "Dwarwen Centurion Titan" instead. No idea why CellExclusions or ModExclusions didn't work. Maybe it has to be entered into the .ini before you enter the cells of the mod? -

Good find. Garfink is our ASIS expert , but I believe this could be solved by adding the M&S boss to [NPCExclusions] in IncreasedSpawns.ini found in the ASIS install folder. If you still have the save, would you mind trying that out? -

Do not use OBIS from SR:LE. This is what I know. Other mods might be incompatible. SkyRe is not currently updated in our guide. Garfink, who maintains that part of the guide, hasn't been online for a while. Until he comes back that part of the guide is not supported. -

I didn't get that error. BUT: Patches updated. Removed 53+54, the TTR armor - WAF patches. More research is needed if they need to be added again. They probably don't. Moved and renamed 72 to a new patch archive since these produced errors when being merged. The new patch archive: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/15909840/MMO/MMO%20no_merge%20patches.7z Since TTR Skills produced errors when being merged the new patches are for TTR unmerged. Guide will be updated in an hour or two. What you need to do is, redownload all patches including the new one above. Reinstall TTR and do not merge the TTR plugins. -

Sorry for the lack of answers to questions and updates today. Rl, gf etc. 😠@jverv installing step followed by regs and mmo is good. I don't think we have any file conflicts within mmo except the brawl bug patch, which is fine. My suggestion would be that when you are finished with installing mods, copy your mo profile to a new temp profile and let mo sort the mods install order. -

I can actually reproduce the TTR merge error when it is reopened. Renumbering breaks patches. I don't know what the errors mean. This means we shouldn't merge if no one with more knowledge than me can explain what the errors mean. I need to switch masters in the patches before they are used with an unmerged TTR. Fixing this tonight- High Level Enemies - SIC.esp still have a replacement in the guide, it is downloaded from Garfinks nexus page. Immersive Weapons - CCOR patch - My memory fails me on this one. I now I had a Immersive weapons - WAF patch that I removed since a similar patch is now included in the official WAF install. I'm guessing this covers CCOR too but I will check tonight (CET) -

Opened it up in TES5 again and LItemDraugr05EWeapon1H is actually included in morrowloot.esp and the ebony weapons from Skyrim.esm is actually deleveled. My misstake. The bashed patch does strange things sometimes. There are things in the amidianborn content add on that doesn't get forwarded for me that should get forwarded. The TTR/WAF patches are experimental and I am not sure they are needed. I struggled a little when I made those I weighted for and against. I know they work, but as you said, they might not be needed. I'll try without them when I get the time to see if everything works. If you try before I get time to do it, please let me know and I'll remove them Added back 52 (and renamed it). Did those patches pre 2.9 and had assumed that STEP 2.9 would use the complete install -

Thanks, don't know how i missed those. To my defense, I was a little tipsy when I made that replacement...LItemDraugr05EWeapon1H was a good find. This is something i believe morrowloot has missed and is probably the reason why Garfink reported Draugr sometimes dropping ebony. Fixing it with a patch was harder though. Any suggestion? I removed it from Lore weapons expanded (of course), but for those not using Lore weapons? Only thing I can think of is removing it from skyrim.esm manually using TES5. Doesn't Hothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.esp have delev, relev by default? Removing 65 and 52, thanks! Updated patches and replacement plugins! Please redownload. -

I also deleted a lot of records. I can make a replacement plugin for the complete merge too. Meanwhile, open the complete merge in TES5 and delete everything under leveled item EXCEPT those records with a name starting with DLC2. Then use my replacement plugin and the complete merge. Load the replacement plugin after the complete merged version. If you want to, you could probably merge them. -

Switching to LOOT went really well. No new rules was needed. I created two replacement plugins and it is now safe to update Lore weapons expansion. The replacement plugins are only to be used if you use morrowloot. I uploaded a replacement plugin for aMidianborn content addon without permission since Cabal haven't answered in a really long time. If he answers and ask me to remove it I will. Note that there are now two patch downloads, one for the actual patches and one for the replacement plugins. If you use morrowloot, remove relev from Weapons and armor fixes_remade.esp and the STEP patch.
