pack Dreadflopps Modular patches
dreadflopp replied to dreadflopp's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
The mods name is "Traps Make Noise - More Dangerous Traps" which has both plugins, traps make noise and traps are dangerous. I'll check my install instructions tonight, the mod seems to have been updated since I made them. You should probably install just the "traps make noise and are dangerous" version and the follower trapp safety patch. -

This is a link to the old patches. I'd recommend using the new ones though. Haven't had time to check what is included in MIME. I'd recommend to check MMO to see what the core/extended patches patches, and what was deleted from the old patches and deduce what to use. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/15909840/MMO/Modular%20Morrowloot%20Overhaul%20patches%20old.7z -

My pc is getting quite old: i5 [email protected] overclocked to 4.2ghz 8 gb ram Asrock z68 motherboard Amd 7970 3gb graphics card gigabyte I hadn't tried the convenient horses script latency test before, I will continue to test it. Hadn't any time today, just tried it for 5 minutes. It showed 48 in the wilderness, peaking to 52. Went up to 62 during a fight. I have had warnings from frostfall though so I will test it some more and see what results I get. Not much time in the coming 10 days since I'm moving to a new apartment. -

Markarth abandoned house, cellar. Not sure about this though. I hate it how my followers walk behind me and equip/unequip torches. Not sure what happened since I didn't investigate it at the time, it could have been the followers unequiping their torches. -

I have experienced som flickering. I'll try the meshes the next time it occurs. -

I don't use the SR:LE patch. I provide some patches toward the end that patches the SR:LE mods that I use. EBT and wet and cold are great mods and can of course be added without any problems. My computer isn't powerful enough for that though. @hishutup I saw your post in another thread about flickering. You mean it would be a good idea to install the meshes from elfx and place it early in the install order to let other mods overwrite them? -

This is just for my recommenced install where I choose to use relightning skyrim instead of elfx since people in the regs thread (cj and others) claims that it's more compatible. Didn't know you could use elfx meshes without elfx. Hishutup what are the good and bad consequences of using them? -

Added my recommended install to the guide. Added more records that should be removed from the STEP patch if you are not using enhanced blood textures, namely: 000F0EAF000F0EB1000F0EB2000189FD000193CA00097785000E4CB0000E64AA -

I use a different lightning mod that is more compatible, relighting skyrim (See other mods). I'll make a note about the mods that has an elfx optional. Thanks for the help! Edit: Added a note to not install the ELFX optional to Vivid landscapes and Vivid LAndscapes - Castle Volkihar Edit 2: Removed Realistic ragdoll & no spinning death animation. THey are included in the STEP patch. -

* 14-11-15 Added Loot and degradation, removed Reduced gold rewards for quests Realised that I forgot to add Loot and degradation to the pack. Great mod that is essential imo. -

I forgot that lanterns of Skyrim was in STEP: Extended as well as in REGS. Deleted the note to wait with the merge. I have wearable lanterns installed but forgot to add it to the install guide, it is there now. Thanks! This build is stable for me so I am going to add it to the pack soon. Also added ENB files to the beginning of the SR:LE section -
Do you feel there is enough salt?
dreadflopp replied to Crazy_San's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
More salt please: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/13321/? This was included in STEP. It is now integrated into the STEP patches. -

I think slower magica regen can be done with SkyTweak, if you want to save a plugin slot. Link to weighted items please :) TDF Equipment Restriction look quite interesting, will look it up closer later. Busy doing something else, namely: https://wiki.step-project.com/User:Dreadflopp/mmo_test#Dreadflopp.27s_recommendations This is my recommended install of STEP/SR:LE/REGS/MMO I will test it during the day and add it to the guide if it seems stable -

Must have been tired yesterday, it is fixed now. I am going to remove Reduced gold reward for quest. This mod was added by Garfink. What it does is change the gold rewards in the leveled list. Gold adjustment, which is in the pack, does the same thing and more but with scripts. -

@baloo42 thanks many of those mods are included, will check the rest. I'm coming from a d&d background too and I get what you mean but I would never be able to restrain myself when leveling and what weapons to use. Updated the patches. Added: 790 Dragon Combat Overhaul - STEP Patch 460 Aurora standing stones - Stealth skills rebalanced patch 470 Aurora Standing stones - TTR Armor patch Added instruction to sort my patches just before the bashed patch. Added instruction to add the bash tags names and stats to the MMO merged patch. -

Really? Sounds great! This means I probably won't have to do any patches at all. I know PerMa says we need to start a new game but I'm going to try it with a cleaned save and see how it goes (save game cleaner + wait 32 days in qasmoke). I have some free time on Friday, if the PerMa patches are finished then I'll add that + my STEP Extended/SR:LE/MMO mash up install-guide. -

Sounds like you fixed the SkyRe install? I always just followed Garfinks instructions when writing that section, I don't have much knowledge about it. I will fix it if you send me all info I need and link to your patches. Very helpful. I am a little short of time atm because of rl (moving to a new apartment this month). If you'd like, you can modify the SkyRe section yourself. This is just if you'd like. I copied the latest version of the guide to the test page, https://wiki.step-project.com/User:Dreadflopp/mmo_test If you want to you can edit the SkyRe part of that page and I'll copy it over to the actual guide. You'll get full credit of course. If you don't have the time I'll be happy to get the instructions from you and I'll add it to the guide when I get the time. I don't think it is necessary to patch complete crafting overhaul. If we put CCOR after morrowloot in the load order, everything is craftable. If we put morrowloot after CCOR, we get the crafting restrictions from morrowloot applied. When we started this, me and Nicopad agreed that we wanted everything to be craftable. I believe it's perfectly fine that bosses have better items. You should be rewarded when defeating bosses and it's realistic too that the bosses collects the best gear from their henchman and what they collect. It will hopefully fit into this pack. I'm thinking I'm going to wait for others to make patches for WAF/CCF, CCOR and the popular armor/weapons mods if it is needed and I'll fix the rest. I haven't seen the mod yet of course but hopefully it won't be that hard to make it compatible. -

I haven't encountered any of these bugs. I am also using Alternate Start. I always do the Helgen quest first when playing with alternate start to avoid inconsistencies in the game, which means that I haven't checked if I have a brawl bug in my game pre Helgen quest. I'll check Windhelm tomorrow to see if I have any missing NPCs. Have you tried restarting the game to see if it's alway the same NPCs that are missing or if it's random? When it comes to the left side in MO, install MMO in the order the mods are listed. I have STEP, Weather/lighting mods, REGS and MMO installed in that order. -

The mod looks good but there are several reports in the comments section about the mod not working as intended with SkyRe or SPERG. I'm guessing it may have problems with SPO or TTRSO too. -

Haha would be a good sig :) Stick to that rule, I only clean mods that STEP, SR:LE or LOOT tells me to clean. -

A dragon you say... :) I edited the morrowloot instructions again. Since English is not my native language it can be tricky at times. I want the instructions to be clear to avoid confusion. Let me know if they are still unclear. Maybe we have to many acronyms, but SSO? Do you mean Stealth skills rebalanced (SSR) ? -

I need to correct what I wrote before. The patch for TTR Smithing (#510) is the only one that needs closefaced helmets. It is a master to that patch. If you use that patch let me know and I'll make a version without the need for closefaced helmets.
