  1. Am I home? *looks around* don't recognize the place *gets dizzy* For the record, I've been thinking about getting involved again as I just started to look into getting back into MO/skyrim. I could use a prod in the right direction though; something tells me I've missed quite a bit since I had to go on hiatus.
  2. Yeah. It's been a while.......... Not to mention an awesome necro by yours truely :p
  3. My vote is that this is apparently causing more of an issue than necessary. Quite making a mountain out of a molehill and just get rid of it for simplicity's sake. Keep it simple stupid right? And in regard to a chat room or channel, I can provide my services to monitor it through the day for a while. Just throwing that out there.
  4. Howdy ya'll, got a bug to report and wanted to see if anyone's seen this before submitting it to the bug tracker. I see this every time I launch my skyrim game: also skyrim seems to be getting in a habit of not loading my save games every other launch or so. I am using most current version of MO and have not changed anything recently on MO or my computer.
  5. if you are going to change ugrids I highly recommend the mod cell stabilizer, I think that's the name of it? it makes it easy to change ugrids on the fly.
  6. Look for Onetweak, it's a borderless window tool that allows skyrim to run in real time (unpaused) when on another application or on desktop.
  7. Moved thread to Support and Troubleshooting.
  8. I'm in agreement to drop it, i don't see the point in keeping it with the past updates by USKP.
  9. Yes, but his has options for different times for how long the arrows stay visible.
  10. A friend of mine and I actually created the same thing on the same night. Â He did his edits through tes5edit and i did mine through the CK. Â The reason I uploaded to steam is because he beat me by a few minutes to the nexus! Â :p His version can be found here: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50128/?Â
  11. Realistic Piercing Arrows - by deathneko11 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=218833641 Archery can be a lot of fun in skyrim, but the way skyrim handles landed arrows is very weak for pc gamers. Now with my mod, you can actually see the wrath you unleash on an enemy with a hail of arrows. This mod changes fired arrows so that a total of 25 arrows can appear on an npc or yourself at one time, and it takes 2 minutes for a landed arrow to disappear. The intentions of this plugin is for better realism, where the vanilla game let's an arrow last only 10 seconds and only 3 can stay on a body at a time. I can make a lighter version of this mod if requested. I have tested and it works for me but it could cause lag in intense situations for weaker machines. I think this has been done before but the ones I've seen were so out of date they were broken. This is up to date with the current version of skyrim and will always work.
  12. I can agree with this. me personally my mod setup is so masochistic it's unreal. I play on a difficult that is WAY beyond insane and even with dragons spawning every day in my game, my deaths number quite a few times more than my daily collection of dragon souls.
  13. so will this be less resource heavy than ugrids 7+ or about the same/more?
  14. Actually, you only have 2GB between those cards. the vram is not added between them, but mirrored instead. If you break 2GB in your vram useage from your mod list, then you will crash. Performance wise you are looking good but imo the only benefit to upgrading will be the extra vram for more high res textures.
  15. I bought the gtx 760 SC 4GB edition card and I'm doing great. I have the hell modded out of my skyrim game and with enb and all of my texture mods I maintain average above 30 fps, and the only other game i've played that can really tax my card is Metro Last Light. Anything else I can just about destroy at 45fps to a solid 60fps.
  16. Hehe sorry, was just thinking about how certain people have been itching to rip the guts out of this program for months now :p
  17. And now Hell has been unleashed...
  18. actually, the unofficial skyrim patch isn't supposed to be affecting all npcs like that in regard to scaling. I think tomorrow I'll have a look at your load order after all; can't now, fixing to sleep. Something tells me you have a mod affecting something, maybe a mod conflict too.
  19. Looks like someone had his cherry popped... I haven't looked at your load order, but I can almost guarantee you that it's normal. Even in vanilla skyrim, depending on certain little details, can an imperial aggro against you. Welcome to the modding world, things get a lot different here!
  20. Have you tried to just simply deactivate all mods in your playing profile, right clicking in your plugins section, select "deselect all", and then going to save section and right clicking on the LAST KNOWN WORKING SAVE and then selecting "fix mods" to load all of the plugins that were in that save file, and only the plugins that were in that save file?
  21. Just my 2 cents, but I don't think such guides are safe to use. There have been a number of advocated mod authors that have been doing this for several years that say doing such cleaning can break a lot of things in game - such as quest lines - even if it does make the game more playable for those that have broken scripts baked into their saved game. There are too many little details that can get attached to a single script through the black magic that is the skyrim engine and the way saved files handle data in the skyrim game compared to previous titles to make it safe to do anything like this. You just don't know what you could be breaking, sometimes the things that are connected to baked in scripts can be completely unrelated. I cannot and will never be able to recommend such a method, I don't care the reviews on the mod page.
  22. Ah, I think you might have slightly misunderstood me here :) I appreciate the advice, but really i'm just grousing here. I have played with my current load order at this stage in the game enough to know that adding something like Hard Times will function without causing stability issues, but there will be glitches here and there because I already have certain things that it changes hard baked into my save. So no, I won't be adding it in this playthrough (besides, it's my first solid playthrough of the game and I want to get the main questline done already. I'll add some more mods that will increase play time for the next playthrough ;) )
  23. way too late for that now i'm afraid hahaha, several good mods came out after I started my current playthrough a few months ago (months.......and yet only 80 hours on record according to the save. sheesh) I know there aren't any scripts, but it edits a lot of things such as crafting tables for example that I'm afraid are baked hard enough into my save at this point to really mess with. Adding stuff is fine but any sort of changes could just cause more conflicts in a baked game at this point.
  24. NOT what I had gathered from the mod author at the beginning. Admittedly, I have not been tracking it all that muc lately. I would also like to point out that it is still entirely likely that adding Hard Times mid game will introduce some small bugs and glitches. I'm sure that installing on a new game is still the healthier way to go about it to make sure that all intended edits function correctly.
  25. I was wondering if anyone knew of any sort of animation replacers for werewolves. In particular I'm speaking of walking and turning animations, because I personally find it hard to maneuver as a werewolf just due to the vanilla animations, especially in tight places such as inside a dungeon. I'm especially looking for something that doesn't make the head swing to the side anywhere near as bad as vanilla werewolf does when turning to the side, for a 1st person camera mod that attaches a camera to the face. Makes the mod impossible to use in 1st person with vanilla animations. I don't care what website the animations are from, doesn't have to be just nexus. If anyone happens to know of anything, I'd be very thankful!
