  1. @ Daniel, thanks for the info, can you please open the enb window and tell me the Weather ID's and weather transition values in the statistics tab? I somehow cannot reproduce this. Do you have any other lighting mods installed that alters the exteriors like the elfx-enhancer? @aiyen ill play a bit with that as soon i can reproduce it :)
  2. @Daniel i just tested though the weathers, but i cannot reproduce this heavy blue coloring, i once overworked the partivles so maybe thats why, have a look at the latest beta here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/wvrz92pn64y0dls/AADGNb89FLWQ33UmRgezmK0ta Maybe that fixes it already. @krypto well, not sure, without, smoke is influenced also on vanilla skyrim on the ambient lighting, direct ligting and bloom colors. so i guess a normal texture replacement wouldnt do it. What i can do here is kinda lower the lighting influence and rise up the intesity. that makes them white/grey. But on costs of other effects. so i need to be careful with that.
  3. thanks;) @aiyen Indeed, just need to take care todo that on actually Grey particles. There are also smokes i skyrim that ment to be blueish.
  4. Thanks yes, btw please have a look if the smoke isnt blue if you disable the enb with Shift+F12. If it turns grey then this is one of the cases where i need to rework.
  5. Thanks for the tip. Thats indeed soemthing i need to refine. Basicly it comes from the triple saturation Skyrim sat + RCRN Sat + ENB Sat.
  6. Yes the bloom is stronger cus it adds up to the natural Skyrim bloom. Still a bit tweaking is needed on that. Great you got a bit more FPS :) Brighter nights and Interiors are already being developed. They will be available in the next release.
  7. Greetings everyone,as you might have seen Version 6.0b Vivid Color Version has been released. Yes the whole ENB has been rebuild again using more efficent code (Thanks to Aiyen!) and gettig rid of old stuff. For example we do not use ebpalettes anymore. As a result the overall Magenta tone is gone now that made snow and darker weathers strange colored. Now all colors are like they ment to be by their authors, except ofcourse the saturation ;)Also we got rid of the Skylighting as it is not really needed anymore. That means you have a performance boos about 10-15%. Either more FPS or More stable FPS can be expected. Aloot of other things changed, most likley PW and RCRN Weathers now have their own Climates of Tamriel weathers so if you plan to use them together with the extended Weathers Mod we offer, you can now experience that they fit much better together.(Yes we made RCRN compatible with Climates of tamriel and expect Punishment from the Authors very soon :D)Anyhow, there might be some bugs in weathers that could look strange. If you encounter such, please report them here.Getting debug info:press ^ open the console and pause the game like that.Press Shift+Enter to open up the ENB window. In the enbseries.ini window open the Statistics tab. Please report the Weather ID's , Time and transistion values of the actual weather. Also if you think some things need to be changed by its lighting we sure would like to hear your Opinion. The extended Nightvision options has not been integrated yet. That will come soon. Now, have fun testing! :) Changelog: 6.0b- rebuild the whole Vivid version ENB on the base of the enbeffect.fx and ebbloom.fx files of aiyen.- Changed the whole colorcorrection to function without a enbpalette. As a result the overall magenta tone is gone now and colors are shown as they ment to be.- New bloom additions and changes. The new bloom is now more performance friendly and of course looks a bit different;)- Disabled skylight. This should gain you about 15% more Performance which should show itself in either more FPS or more Stable FPS.- Overworked all RCRN and Pure weather weathers and made Climates of Tamriel weathers compatble if they are combined.- Added a slight Eye adaptation effect. - still need to experiment with this but expect more noticeable versions to come.- refined the sunsprite- replaced the Static Depth of Field with a more performance friendly version.- added a NoBlurSky mode for static Depth of Field
  8. Well since my last Post was gone with the Database crash ill repost it :) The new Vividian 5.46 includes a overworked enbsunsprite.fx file wich includes some magic that might be intresing for other enb authors too. This sunsprite does not focus on lensflare effects but more on the sun glare itself. You now have the ability to recolor 6 parts of the sunsprite.tga file circlewise. Alternativley you can change the Intensity of those circles that way too, so you achive a corona effect that can fade out in colors. The other nice effect is the peak function, wich either changes the intensity of parts of the enbsunglare depending on the view angle, or adds a sun peak wich is a small white line. Ofcourse everything setup via Gui- thanks to aiyen for the help :) other changes: - Added the possibility to change the focus point on the Photographic Depth of Field, that way you can focus objects that are not centered on your screen.- Redone Pure Weather Weathers. Raised the Night Brightness to the maximum possible amount without looking odd. Please still use the Brighter nights edition from Vividian and Pure weather unless you are a Doom3 Fan :D- Added "Super realtime Chromatic Intensity colour changes Sunsprite calculation"....and a flux compensator! Sunsprite can now be coloured in different colours and a peak calculation changes the intensity of various rays depending on the view angle.- optimized TimeofDay settings- Simplified the process of installing the Dirt version. Just copy enblens.fx in your skyrim directory.- lowered day Blacklevel in the Vivid version because of better colour transitions of the enb palette colouring.
  9. 1. make sure no direct lights hits your monitor, even better you dimm the lights in your room or do this during night time. As a Gaphicsdesigner i did all the calibration stuff with a Spyder4Elite :D But thats maybe a bit overkill just for skyrim, though keep in mind if you "calibrate" your monitor then you first start with setting up the monitor settings itself. Most monitors got a switch for the color temperature. Do not choose that too high. 9500K for example drains every color out of your pictures. I would go for around 7500K-7900K for normal PC use. Game developers usually calibrate their monitors around 6500K but thats even too yellowish for my taste ;) After you set the color Temerature go for contrast and brightnes Settings. A good example is this picture: https://static-3.nexusmods.com/15/mods/110/images/36067-1-1398200666.jpg You should see atleast all of his face. After all that then you go for colors and the Calibration utilities. At the very end you can setup own color profiles in your graphicscard driver is you experience a game being too dark or too bright.
  10. thanks :) if you are doing gameplay vids have a look how youtube threats your video. Usually the compression brightens up dark stuff again a bit or makes dark stuff darker. I uploaded now many vids there from vividian and every time the result was different ;)
  11. Vividian got a brighter nights and interiors version in the Special editions folder. Also make sure you do not have any Ambient occlusion set in your driver 3d settings for Skyrim, otherwise it gets really dark. The brightness slider of skyrim should also be in the middle. If you still experience too much darkness even with the brighter editions something is off. But you may have a look in the "How to customize.txt" file then concerning the lighting and brightness settings you can adjust by yourself in ENB.
  12. well thats strange, i just double checked and everything installed fine here... although i am not using 1.2.0 of MO because i heard there where problems. what happens if you copy the esp's in the mod directory of MO by hand and restart it?
  13. Well then are you sure you actually activated the mod after installing it? Thats often a mistake i do, istalling stuff but dont set the Checkmark infront of it that it is actiavted ;)
  14. What mod organiser are you using? Nexus or Mod organizer?
  15. Anamorphic flares are a topic for itself in the development history. I found them in Sunsprite.fx, Lens.fx and bloom.fx and also there is a anamflare entry even in the DoF!. Took me a while to disable them all. Some added round anamflares, some peak anamflares...and the other anamflares where kind of glowy. There was also situations where i could not simply undefine anamflares, this would have made skyrim buggy. For example i need to leave the anamflares option to be enabled in the depth of field we actually use, otherwise transparent obects would get buggy, vanish or particles would be gone...what a mess :D I think Laast added that kind of change to the nights already, as far as i remember i spotted a change in that when i updated the presets to version 1.3.
  16. thanks;) yes disbling lens also does the trick (wich he disabled by default), but i wanted also to get rid of the compilation of that file during startup of enb to save a bit of time. I also messed around quiet bad to disable the anamorphic lensflares back then wich even was visible when lens was deactivated (no idea , buggy stuff;) I saw you also added pure weather support. dark nights arent they ?:)
  17. A new update is out with some Major changes (and tons of less tea available): as you see, with 5.40 we introduced two seperate versions now. Vivid and Vanilla color version. We decided to split them up because at the moment we tryd to stay compatible with both coloring systems with all weathers but that keeps us in some kind of tweaking limits. By splitting up we can refine all weathers more perfectly to each coloring situation. Although, the directory structure stays the same.Oh and Yes, Lens.fx IS 0 bytes large. We dont need it, saves computing time ;) 5.40New:- Added Support for Solstheim Climate Overhaul for Dragonborn (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/33919/?)Be aware! There is Color and Spacewars Effects!- brought common sense in the weathers of Solstheim Climate Overhaul ;)- Massively overworked the sun. Added new sunglare and effects. REQUIRES the No Sunglare fix of the required files now, otherwise those glares overlap each other too much.Update:- Updated Extended Weathers to be compatible with Pure Weather 1.3- Updated Pure weather Edition weathers to fit with version 1.3- Update to Presets: Slighty brighter torch/wearable lanterns- Update to Weather Patch: Made waters a bit darker again, Less green in fog in snowstorms- Update to Brighter Editions- Updated sunsprite.fx to a more smaller coded version- Updated lens.fx to be empty by default as we don't use Lens effects (Dirt) by default. Saves some computing time. The full working lens.fx can be found in the optional files/Dirt- Updated all enbseries.ini files. Please update yours.Fix & Adjusts:- Fixed wrong Pointlight colors at night in the Pure Weather edition- Small adjustments in SSAO- Reworked Specular and Vegetation- Tuned down Ambient light in interiors slightly, in conjunction with other changes to fit the overall contrast visual- Some small Tonemap changes (and Contrastbloom/Gaussianbloom, DNI added)- Disabled Nighteye Noise for now, because of some code conflicts
  18. Allright a new 2.30 is released with some groundbreaking new fixes. Really i cannot belive how long Climates of Tamriel bugs got unnoticed :D Somehow, we dont know why, the CoT Water values where switched between night and day in every weather inside CoT itself. As a result the Water turned to a ink blue / black soup at day and crystal clear at night. Now this is fixed with the latest Weather patch so the water now matches with the vanilla water. Please take care of the load order, it overwrites all CoT weathers! Extended Groudnfogs and Windy clouds had been made compatible. There is also now a special edition for RCRN. Damn this mod is really nice. also, a Special message from benhat: "Hey all,i altered the lighting values of (Wearable)Lanterns and Torches again with the last release 5.30.I would be happy if some of you could give me some feedback.Especially Wearable Lanterns is a balance act, not to oversaturate interiors and take away those nice shadows. Also what settings do you use for Wearable Lanterns? (My prefernce is lightradius 400 set in skyui)Thanks for the feedback in advance." Changelog: - Fixed/Tweaked WeatherMods/Patches/LightingPresets, PLEASE REINSTALL (There is a WeatherPatch for ESS+SupremeStorms now too)- WeatherPatch updated: COT, Changed all Water Multipliers to Vanilla like Values, now Water is actually not black at daytime and not bright at night time.LOADORDER for WeatherPatch, BEFORE all other Vividian mods.- WeatherPatch updated: COT Imagesspaces added to Vividian Weather Patch, reduced saturation of some to better fit in.- RCRN support now got a own Special Edtion. If you are using RCRN please overwrite the main files with those from the Special Edition.- Some small changes to SSAO settings- Some small tonemap/CC changes- Sharpening reordered in effect.txt (looks a lot better now)- Dithering (SweetFX) added to effect.txt- Reworked some Weathers- New very Dense Fog Weather (COT)- Lightsprites,Fires,Particles adjusted a bit- Some small bloom changes- Fixed minor DoF bugs- Small fixes in Pure weather clear weathers
  19. omg he wants to check the particles and fires! run benhat run! ill cover you! :D
  20. thanks:) not that far i must say, we just want to make clear that we didn't tested all dungeons and all interiors with those editions yet, but basicly they should work and look quiet well. We mostly did those brighter editions for people who experience too dark interiors because of their monitor, gamma and brightness settings. So they got a quick opportunity to finally see something again.
  21. Greetings everyone.the latest Vividian 5.24 now includes a Photorealistic Depth of Field. (optional files folder)This Depth of field is designed especially for Photographers and people who like autofocus. It will take every object into focus even if it's far away including near or far blurring of out of focus objects. That also means you will have a constant Distant Blur effect unless you focus on the mountains.I think it is pretty awsome but now the important point:This should be also much more performance friendly but we will require some testers if this really is so.On positive results i will try to convert it also to all the others DoF effects to rise up general performance. beside that some more changes where made here and there: - Some small Adjustments to Tonemaps- introducing of the new Photorealistic Depth of Field available in the optional files folder.this one should also gain some performance boost.- minor RCRN weather tweaks- Updated Pure Weather Edition. Please consult the Readme in the Pure weather Special Edition folder.
  22. Ok seems my tea never runs out so here we go, the mod is now named: Vividian - Weather & Lighting enhancement - CoT - RCRN and Pure Weather Because now Vividian also Supports all RCRN Weathers with the new 5.23 version and is compatible with it's imagespaces (settings on the mainpage) So, anyone know some more Weather mods for skyrim to support or was this already everything?:) Version: 5.23 changes: - New: Preset for Vurts "Skyrim Flora Overhaul".At the moment one texturealteration for the "kind of" out-of-place snowy pinetree. Maybe some more stuff in the future.- Update to Wearable Lanterns Preset- Balanced Contrastbloom and Gaussianbloom a bit.- A few small adjustments to tonemap, foremost interior.- Added RCRN Compatibility for all of it's weathers - Have a look at the Main Vividian page for Required Settings- Fixed ESS Weathers for the latest ESS Version- Updated Skyrim Prefs- Added Static Depth of Field Effects in the Optional Files- Updated and enhanced Pure Weather Weathers
  23. Hm sadly i cannot see anything wrong in this video exept the screen goes dark as soon you move the cam. But your native Resolution is 1360x768 , why do you let skyrim run on Full HD wich your monitor then can't handle? Well anyway, as i also use a LG 32 Inch TV as monitor for skyrim (real full hd that is ) the first thing i had todo was disable auto brightness in the tv settings. Also try let skyrim run on your native's resolution also at real fullscreen, not windowed and have a look at my skyrim prefs: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/ealhwl36l95z5zq/KvC2ltQLk7/Optional%20Files/Skyrim%20Prefs maybe they help. If not, try to switch to another ENB like. uhhhmmm Vividian
  24. I also just tested out the latest beta. Wow, finally the Stuttering while turning around is gone and everything feels really smooth here with my GTX 670. Although no FPS boost.
  25. Well the most easy way to fix this is using default night brightness and setting the overall Darkness for nights higher in "The ENB" :) That way clouds are also covered.
