Any update on the ETA for a new STEP release for Skyrim?

Nope, to be honest no one has really even been working towards the next release yet. We're all just doing our own side projects right now.

Can we expect a Fallout 4 guide from Ess? It would need to be both for PC and console, which I will surely use over time. I assume console modding will be delegated to plugins only though.

Will there ever be a Step 2.3.0 release or is this whole step project "dead" ?

 

I was waiting so long for Step 2.3.0 because i finally wanted to play skyrim with this release. Any comment about that would be nice.

2.2.9.2 is coming out soon. 2.3.0 might still be a while.

As far as I understand it, 2.3 will be an automated process and thus is a looong way off. 2.2.9.2 is around the corner though so I would wait for that and then go for it.

STEP v3 will not be automated. It will be a separation of STEP:Core and STEP:Extended to make STEP a more modular install. Extended will become the Official STEP Pack which is installed on top of STEP:Core.
