SRLE Extended

Recommended Posts

Has anyone yet to setup Legacy of the Dragonborn and its patches with SRLE - Extended? If anyone out there has, can they please describe the process?

he hasn't done an Extended build with LoTD but he has with Base so it might lead you in the right direction.

Thank you for clarifying!

Regarding AH Hotkeys, what do you think of using Grimy Utilities instead?  It seems to have a hotkey function as well.

Grimy Utillites seems a bit too cheaty to me. I've pulled AH HotKeys from the merge and so far it seems to be behaving itself.

I use cathegorized favorites menu

I did have cathegorized favorites menu menu installed until someone put me one to AH Hotkeys.

Hello Darth_Mathias,

Do you think that with a SRLE Extended Setup, we're safe to play 100H+ playtroughs or even 200/300+ ? Regarding Strings sizes and Save File Sizes ?

Thanks for you hard work anyway :)

To be honest I have not play 100H+ with this setup. I doubt the string count will get the the point where save game corruption will happen but again I have not actaully managed to get past level 13 (this is highest I have manged so far with having restart for one reason or another.) I belive the Crashes Fixes mod makes so you can go above the 64,000 strings limit without save game corruption but again I have not personally tested this.

Edit: You can find a link to the excel spreedsheet i did a few months back on SRLE Extended String Count here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/b1gpc8dqp8wselu/SRLE%20Extended%20String%20count%20testing.xlsx?dl=0

Anyway we're sure that a long playtrough will survive that amount of mods ? I mean isn't it the point of modding the game ? Having a perfect setup that lets us play for hours and hours... I think I've 500H logged in skyrim and never made it past level 25. I always get the itch to "add more"... Your setup seems pretty complete though, that's why I'm contemplating it to settle in and play trough the game once (ideally on a single character wandering all around the content)...

Thoughts ? Think the setup is safe ? :p

I think it is  safe for a long playthough yes if you don't do stupid things like update big scripted mods mid playthrough.

I actaully manged to get furthur along then Darth before his system crash plus I backed up my save so I can continue. I am currently level 32.

Darth is not comtemplating adding anything else big to the guide from this point on cos of SSE coming in the autum. Skyrim modding as a whole will like need an overhaul then lol.

Hello Lexy,

Thanks for yesterday's suggestion. I have tried the mod Mfg Console and found out that the purple trees are from skyrim.esm.

What do you think about this?

Maybe my file is corrupted?

Thanks

mmm could be but usaully purple texture usally mean the textures are missing.

I'm getting a few dead chicken in Riverwood when I first walk in.

I tested using alternate start, "camping in the woods" and "patron of a local inn".

I wonder if anyone else has noticed this.

I have notced this yes not only in riverwood but in Morthal and Dawnstar as well think it might be related to SkyTEST.

it means you have the meshes but you don't have the textures. Check the mod that adds trees in that area and see if you installed it correctly.

i don't think Skyrim.esm is your problem anyway that can be resolved by rechecking the files with steam

I did a search "chicken" in the SkyTEST Realistic Animals and Predators and SkyTEST Integration Project forums but couldn't find anyone reporting it.
