SKYRIMLE No More Stupid Dog Comments (by TheWinterhawk)

I went looking for something like this after hearing "Stupid dog" at least ten times within five minutes. I don't understand why this isn't in STEP as a bug fix, is it because it's so old? Does anyone know if there's any reason this mod should be avoided?

I was annoyed about this too. I merged it into my personal 'general patch' and have not seen any issues yet.

Same here, I'd love to see this in STEP Extended. I'm not a dog lover like my companion(in-game), but I do find that really annoying.

I am more annoyed about the stupid children voices saying "good dog" myself :P

My only question: In what way is this a bug fix? In what manner do you assign the fact that all of Skyrim hates the dog (except kids...) is a bug on the part of the designers?

 

Use it if you wish of course... but the random background comments, like this, are, for me, a non-issue. I don't even notice them most of the time. With the obvious exception of Heimskyr. Nobdy can ignore him. No matter how we try.

I think what the issue is, is when dogs are kept as followers/pets they tend to run into a lot of people who make the comment, close by.  That's what I gather from it.
