Mysterious fog... Everywhere.

Hi,
 
So I just finished installing STEP basically it's entirety and this happens when I load up the game:

Even the smoke on the loading screens is weird.

What's that about? I disabled just the mods which are likely to affect smoke (enhanced fire and embers, weather ones etc.) and it remained. I disabled ALL my mods and started a new save and it remained.
 
I am running a GTX 560Ti with the latest stable Nvidia drivers.

Because I doubt that its a mod that is currently installed...

I was asking if he already had them because I forget what meshes they touch and fix.

 

Since, I think its a not a mod or lack there of, do what everyone is suggesting, remove the dll and test

Hey guys it's sorted! Thanks so much for your help.

 

I disabled ENBboost and the fog went away. So I played around a bit and remembered I think I overwrote part of the dll when I installed SMAA which of course requires a second dll. I didn't really know how to use both at the same time so after accidentally overwriting them, I remember attempting to do some weird fix and... clearly it didn't really work :P I deleted all trace of ENB and SMAA injector and started again, utilising the proxy dll feature in the ENB config and it's all fine.

 

Skyrim looks great! Getting some stuttering when I look at certain places so I think I was a bit ambitious with the texture sizes on 1GB VRAM, I'll have to look into sorting that with DDSopt or something.

As it's only texture mods, you can always just go back and replace them with the 1k versions at your leisure. Shouldn't need to rebash the patch or anything if the mod has no esp file.

 

Had a pretty good idea that was ENBoost/ENB related, so glad all's good.
