WilliamImm Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/55707 From the same mod author as the Argonian Decapitation fix. Adds "hairstyles" for the Argonian race with fins - like in the previous games. They apply to both genders, and has a variation with feathers. I'm likely to try this mod out when I return to Skyrim.
Teabag86 Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 Almost makes me want to try an Argonian. Plus the author is working on further improvements. One to track.
Shadriss Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 Saw this a few days ago, and it's exactly what the Argonians need... without these, the heads just look wrong. I couldn't figure out why (since I hadn't played Oblivion or Morrowind in... like... forever), but once I saw the screens, it was an instant "Oh yeah... that was it."
redirishlord Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 (edited) Tentacle Dreads, just sayin'. Sounds like these are a replacer insted of stand alone, I can have my cthulthoid head tentacles and finned npcs reminiscent of deep ones too? Win! EDIT: Yup, these are a replacer for Argonian Hair 01 (smooth skull) & 02 (with feathers). The tentacle dreads are in slot 00 so I was able to choose those for myself and expect to see my fellow lizards sporting a mix of fins, feathers and horns. Edited July 18, 2014 by redirishlord
WilliamImm Posted July 17, 2014 Author Posted July 17, 2014 redirishlord: Tentacle dreadlocks on argonians don't really look quite right for the race. I mean, it's a cool techincal achievement, but that sort of hair works much better for the asari or the D&D 4e dragonborn. And in the former case, they don't flop around. (OT: Don't like the 4e Dragonborn that much. Elaborating right here will cause me to derail my own thread violently, so I've started a new discussion in the Banter Inn.)
redirishlord Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 Agreed, dreads in no way lore friendly (but look good on me), the fins however seem quite proper. I need to check in game and confirm that npcs are sporting them & I'm curious how Horns are Forever interacts.
DoYouEvenModBro Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 (edited) Does this conflict with anything or cause problems with headgear? Edited July 17, 2014 by DoYouEvenModBro
