How to rename a folder in the data directory using MO?

Im troubleshooting a ctd and to do this i need to rename the meshes folder to something else. I Haven't found a way to do that since the data directory is virtual. 

 

If any one could help me i would be really grateful :)

Double click the mod and go to the Filetree tab. Select the folder and right click to bring up a context menu. Select rename from that menu.

I'm sorry if i didn't make it clear. I'm not looking to rename a specific mod mesh folder i'm looking to rename the one that's in the data folder.

I believe that you can only hide individual files in the data tab if they are in a loose format. Anything in a BSA can't be touched at the moment and the folders are in the BSA of the core files.

 

At least that is how I am interpreting it.

I guess im gonna have to start a whole new game if i cant rename the whole mesh folder because its causing a ctd :/ maybe i should switch back to nmm

You seem to have a strange method or finding the cause to a CTD. Mesh CTD is only one of the few possible ways you can CTD.

 

If you really still want too, you'll have to launch the Command Prompt via Mod Organizer in order to do what you are asking.
