Aiyen Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Well no single texture can cover the entire world since well it is the same mesh used all over. One day perhaps someone will create a mod that diversify house textures. One can only dream of having a skyproc patcher for that sort of thing... location specific texture choice! Now that would be mod of the year worthy!
Roberbond Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 I don´t like this mod. The texture are too repetitive. The moss is everywhere. The brown wood doesn´t match with the step pack.https://s1266.photobucket.com/user/Roberbond38/slideshow/Photobucket%20Desktop%20-%20iMac%20de%20Roberto/Skyrim/CBBE%20Vanilla%20Simple%20Mature%20Skin
DoubleYou Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 We are testing the no moss version. Also we're not using the rock texture, which is seen in your compares. Believe me, those two changes are dramatic.
DoubleYou Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 I don't think I would be willing to put up with all those splinters to be honest. Riverwood for example, has a lumberyard... Why you no replace the wood with something that won't take your fingers off?I was thinking about this, and I really don't see this as splintery. It looks like it has seen the sandpaper, especially at top of the wooden door. If it wasn't sanded, the edges and lines (the curved arch especially) would be all jagged. What is actually seen is like a smoothing of the wood as cut lengthwise like you see when they cut wood at the lumberyard. It doesn't look all jagged as there. So I really can't see what is splintery about it. Certainly, it does appear as the wood is aging that pieces have been falling off, but hardly in a state of disrepair.
