Roogal - Havent tried yet but don't see why it wouldn't work and screenshots look promising.

This was a part of STEP prior to 2.1 Update 3 when TheCompiler opted to remove it because the vanilla HD versions were on par. Perhaps he'll re-evaluate...

Both mods are not updated for the DLC, no add for now ;)

what do you mean dlc? downloadable content could be anything like patches for skyrim. but i guess you mean the official texture pack? why even install this,it would mess up all the mods,and mods do a even better job than this texture pack. greetz

"DLC" as it's used here refers to anything released officially by Bethesda. It generally does not include updates or patches since those don't add anything and are mainly used for bug fixing and the like. Since there's only been one piece of DLC released, the HD Texture Pack, most people are talking about that when they mention DLC.

 

Installing the HD DLC pack is part of the STEP process and the method used in the installation guide forces those textures to be loaded "first" so that they only overwrite Vanilla assets and not any mods.
