Requiem Pack (WIP)

I do not recommend using the latest version, but the one in the guide instead. Until compatibility with Dragonborn is sorted at least. But this is only for compatibility with STEP and or SR:LE. I will upgrade the guide as soon as the requisite patches are made available. I would do them myself as most are not difficult to sort out but I seriously do not have the time to devote to building and testing such patches, and I do not as yet have Azirok's skill when it comes to the major patches he has put together which are practically mods in themselves. Stick to 1.73 for now as detailed in the pack guide and you will be fine. Of course the main problem now is that 1.8 is not compatible with 1.73 so you would need to start a new game when you upgrade. For that reason I am trying out some different approaches for now until the patches are updated at which point I will update the pack.

OK guys.

I have about one more week of heavy work and I should have some time to get things rolling again. Thank you for not hammering me too hard with PMs.

I have just now downloaded the new Requiem and updating everything.

I apologize for the delay.

Not a huge difference but there have been some changes, paticularly in the way difficulty is managed and there is now a skyproc patcher to make sure all NPCs are properly Requiemified. A number of other fixes and changes. Ogreboss forgot to do something or other with the scipts which is what is causing the backwards compatibility problem. I personally want to upgrade to 1.8 so will be waiting for those patches which hopefully will not be too long coming now that Azirok is seeing light at the end of the tunnel. 1.73 is great though and works a treat but I can understand anyone holding off. The pack should be updated in a couple of weeks but I am at the mercy of things outside of my control.

Smile44, I have found no defintive answer to this one : is the Mysticism perk working or not in 1.7.3 (and in 1.8) or not ? I'm pretty sure it does not but as the mod author never commented on it, I have a lingering doubt.

Would you recommand Requiem Enhanced Magic ?

I am not familiar with that bug. I do know that many Requiem users do use that mod REM. So I guess it is is good, just check the version you use is compatible. I have not used it myself though.

Any chance you've figured something out to use 1.8 with the patches currently available? I want to finish my current build today so that I can finally start playing, but I'm not sure if 1.8 will work for me...

It did for this guy apparently.

OK just to clear things up the Requiem pack is designed to be used with STEP or SR:LE both of which require Dragonborn. As the current patch for that is out of date I am waiting for Azirok to update his patches. When he does I will update the guide to 1.8, this should be soon.

I recommend Requiem 1.8 whole heartedly and if you are not a Dragonborn user then go right ahead and use it. Even if you have Dragonborn you could still install it but just avoid Solstheim until it is patched. The Requiem guide works well as it is but I wont update it until I can make it fully compatible with STEP and SR:LE and of course REGS.

I hope this clears things up.

I want to use Dragonborn, but since that's a high level area, I won't be using it for a few weeks at least :)

Are all other patches compatible with 1.8? I'm still not fully understanding the whole patches thing I'm afraid.

My current build is based on SR:LE and I've added Requiem and a few other mods (taken from REGS and STEP mostly) and all corresponding Requiem Patches. Now I'm not so sure how to proceed. I've executed FNIS and wanted to run SUM (DSR and ASIS) and then Requiem for the Indefferent, but what about conflict resolution patches? Do I have to create them manually or are there already created versions just waiting to be installed?

Furthermore, I can't merge the Patch Central Patches with TES5EDIT...getting some strange error that I can't really pin on a certain patch...

I'm gonna post my current load order (using LOOT) and the error message provided by TES5EDIT, I just have to switch PCs - maybe you can point me into the right direction. :)

EDIT:Here's my current load order:

  Reveal hidden contents

I've merged your weather pack into CoT-WeatherPatch.esp and I've also merged RSChildren according to SR:LE. The SR Conflict Resolution.esp is missing multiple masters since I haven't installed all SR:LE mods - any way to sidestep this?

I haven't run WyreBash nor SUM and Skyrim Indefferent at the moment.

If you use LOOT then you will have to build a conflict resolution patch in TES5Edit it cannot be avoided. I see that you have not really followed SR:LE perhaps in parts. There is a lot of guides on the internet about building patches and HERE is one to get you started. Good luck.

Thx. I've left some mods out because I wanted to thin out setup a little bit. It's not possible to use the patches provided without using everything need for those patches? I'm using Vampiric Thirst instead of Better Vampires for example, but the SRLE CR-Patch needs the Better Vampires file - any way around that or do I have to build the CR-Patch from scratch?

EDIT: Would the CR-Patch also be necessary if I used BOSS?

Btw: Requiem for the Indifferent somehow freezes at "(207/206) Importing DummyLists.esp: Done". Is that because of the lack of CR-Patches or maybe because of the wrong load order?
