The author of Expanded Winterhold Destruction seems to have hidden their file.

And I didn't find any explanations about that from that author in the nexus forums either.

CJ I know I already asked this but i'm going to try again. Do you have any plans to add the Northern Cardinal mod to the list? Make it compatible with REGS? It looks like a really awesome mod, but it has a few navmesh conflicts with Better Docks.

I really want to use it, but I like the REGS pack a lot so I've been holding off on it.

Good morning,

I'm carrying on to run SRLE + REGS config but I've got an issue with "Moon and Stars" mod (I guess it is related to this mod) not showing up the entire village. Instead, I have some people from Little Vivec floating above the Llinata Lake and some of the textures from the closest mountain not showing as well (close to the Bleak Falls Barrow exit).

I use LOOT to order my mods as BOSS makes my game to crash before loading it.

I guess one or more mods are implicated and I tried to move the MAS plugin near the bottom of my list without any result.

Here is my LO if someone faced the same issue:

Thanks for any help.

Hi CJ,

great guide and great work on the compatibility here!

I have a somewhat trivial question: If I set up STEP:Extended before REGS, there are some redundant mods like Lantern of Skyrim. Does it make a difference where you install them i.e. either before the Step patch during Step setup, or after the Step patch during REGS setup?

If I am correct, they are included for people who didn't use Extended and it shouldn't make a difference but I'd just like to be sure. ::):

Thanks!

Btw: Has anyone found out yet what has happended to Expanded Winterhold Destruction? It used to be one of my favourite mods and I'd hate to see it disappear for good. :/

SR:LE is not set up to work with LOOT yet. It is specifically arranged to work with BOSS and B.U.M. I expect that you will be having a number of other potential problems. Go back to BOSS and make sure you have followed the instructions. SR:LE works great with REGS, no crashes no problems.

No plans to add that mod. It doesn't have navmesh conflicts with Better Docks though because BD doesn't modify navmeshes. However it has conflicts with other mods in the pack such as nernie's cities. You might be able to run it if you remove REGS - Cities.esp, but I'm not sure what else it might conflict with...

The note about SDO in the guide for Moon and Star might help you with the textures issue. As for the floating people, do you mean there's actually no ground there? If so, it could be caused by the presence of a mod that changes the landscape of that area, but it should be fixed by placing MAS at the bottom of your load order...

I'd recommend placing all this pack's mods after STEP and STEP extended. Redundant mods can just stay where STEP places them however. (Is there any actual redundant mod other than LoS?)

Re- Northern Cardinal: Good to know what the possible conflicts are. Sounds like I can replace REGS Cities & REGS CRF patch (CRF patch having REGS Cities as a dependency), as Better Docks doesn't edit the navmeshes, with individual installs of Windhelm Lighthouse and Skyrim Sewers (there is a "no vanilla edits" esp replacer & a new 4.12 version). Additionally, without the Nernies conflict I will be able to try Manny's new Bookseller.

Yes, I saw yesterday that the original mod author (Siraleth??) has returned and will take over EWDR again. So the mod author who was caretaking the mod removed all their files. I checked again today to fact check the names but everything is hidden again, so my apologies if I sound vague.

I double checked the compatibility of Northern Cardinal with some of the mods in REGS, no conflicts between Better Docks indeed, I probably used a earlier version before. Updated in the mod page.

Is this pack going to need to be updated at all for the 2.2.9 step release?

Not really, it's already 2.2.9 ready. I'll just have to update some of the instructions, and maybe remove cutting room floor as it'll be part of STEP Core 2.2.9 either way.I guess I'll have to add a LOOT section if that'll be mis-ordering some of the plugins, however.

So, LOOT is sorting ETaC - Complete at the top of my load order currently (index 16)... I'm curious to know how the LOOT algorithm works now, because that's definitely NOT where a city mod should be. Ever.

EDIT: @cstarkey: I'm afraid that with STEP now relying on LOOT, I pretty much have to provide support for that tool.

Funnily enough, tracking down the required metadata edits for every STEP mod was a PITA (since I had to open every mod's wiki link). I'm thinking a lot of people won't even notice those. :|
