mightyusaid Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/40190/? Ok so we have all downloaded or somewhat used STEP and we know the amount of sound mods especially weapons and footsteps step has. We never really got to see mods that changed the magic spell mods, and i was going through some of insane0hflex's videos and saw this really amazing mod called Immersive Sounds- Magic. Some of the new sounds of the magic spells were amazing to hear especially since some of the vanilla ones are so horrible (I'm talking to you conjuring summoning spells). However everyone has different tastes, some might hate it, some might love it. However I'm on the latter side, i love these fresh new changes, and its really nice to hear them. Check them out. Here's a video however it doesn't show every spell that has been changed, it just shows whats new in version 2.0 Version 3.0 video  i especially like the stone flesh oak flesh soundsÂ
DoYouEvenModBro Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 Does it conflict with SoS? If not, I'm downloading this.
mightyusaid Posted January 15, 2014 Author Posted January 15, 2014 Does it conflict with SoS? If not' date=' I'm downloading this.[/quote']From my perspective SOS doesn't effect the sounds of magic spells so it shouldn't conflict at allÂ
DoYouEvenModBro Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 I'm on my work computer and it won't load the youtube video so I cannot hear these sounds. Are they good?
torminater Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 I don't really like this. It would be too much pick and choose for me, and I'm not sure, I want to do that too excessively once again :D
mightyusaid Posted January 15, 2014 Author Posted January 15, 2014 I'm on my work computer and it won't load the youtube video so I cannot hear these sounds. Are they good?Honestly its all about personal preference you would love it or you could hate it.
DoYouEvenModBro Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 I like the variation. I think this mod has potential and can definitely be improved upon. I think it is an improvement over vanilla boring sounds so I'll probably end up using it but I hope the author continues to tweak it.
PlanetExp Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 A little too much bass for my taste to be honest, but it does give some spells a lot more "omph". It's like someone turned on loudness on my tv. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
DoubleYou Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Personally, I thought version 2.0 was the best, so that is what I use. Version 3.0 I didn't like as much.
DoYouEvenModBro Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Personally, I thought version 2.0 was the best, so that is what I use. Version 3.0 I didn't like as much. Can you explain what changed between those two versions?
mightyusaid Posted January 22, 2014 Author Posted January 22, 2014 Version 3.0 has just come out with some promising new spells, and the author listens to feedback so check it out. The iron, oak, and stone flesh each have their own sound and they all sound really good.
DoYouEvenModBro Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 Does anyone know how much of AOS this mod overwrites?
Kuldebar Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Does anyone know how much of AOS this mod overwrites?Well, the mod author states:If you use Audio Overhaul, place the .esp after AOS in the load order and they will work fine. You can also download an optional sound pack which replaces several new magic-related sounds added by AOS, to make them blend in better with the style of my own sounds.I stopped using the massive sound overhaul type mods awhile back, I stick to the smaller scale ones, they seem to have less issues and better maintenance.
