SKYRIMLE Pelts of Skyrim - Hi-Res Pelt Packs (by Gamwich)

I have been playing with these for a long time and they look really fantastic. Looking through 2.2.7, I couldn't find where, though I assume pelts must be covered in one of the STEP texture replacers?

They're already covered by detailed rugs which is in STEP, but these kinda look better imho.

There are also some of the cow hide pelts in AMB farmhouses I've been meaning to get to them, but that stuff is really time consuming.

Since rootsrat brought Gamwich to mind for me again, I figured I'd bump this. Personally, I think these should be definite STEP candidates - these pelts are tops. Seriously one of my favorite things to look at in game when I come across them. ::

Not over here. SRO doesn't have any pelts textures in it.

 

And now that I examined the textures closely, I am not sure I want this mod. It's basically the old textures from hires pack with new smaller texture slapped over them and slightly sharpened edges. The result looks weird. Just compare them side by side.

Mine does, although its probably from the original file where there were a few duplicates and not the optimized one that people are using around here nowdays.  Honestly, can't tell much of a difference between these and what I had before, so i'm going to label this as a sidegrade.
