mightyusaid Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 Hey guys, its been a while since i have been on here, but i was just looking around and i found this mod very interesting. It has had a lot of downloads recently so i wondered it might be worth checking out. https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/38004//?
WilliamImm Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 I've been using it too myself as part of testing the new Skyrim Revisited (which uses it in place of AOF mountains) - and my god it is beautiful . So detailed, and it's based on AOF's textures, so arleady the mountain textures are off to a good start. Looks better when using an ENB, though, so it might be best for a Parralax/ENB specific pack.
Garfink Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 My favorite rocks by far! Using the classic light grey version, the brown looks out of place with the grey stone fences and buildings.
rootsrat Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 I changed the thread title to reflect mod name change. I also use it, along with all the other Vivid Landscape mods. It's beautiful and all of the mods fit together nicely as a series. I use Classic Grey. Like Garfink, I think that 1) both brown versions look out of place, and 2) tundra areas look TOO orange with brown versions. Grey rocks give those areas nice contrast.
Garfink Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 I like using Somber ENB, and Sepia is on in the ENB and so the rocks look warmer anyway. But with the brown rocks, its just too much. I also recently tried out "Skyrim Realistic Texture Overhaul", I like the snow textures from that, but the grass/dirt is way too saturated compared to vanilla.
