ABT - Arrows and Bolts Tweaks by Kevkas

 

This is the perfect mod for archers looking to adjust their Skyrim experience. It has a wide selection of choices for different archery characteristics such as damage multipliers, arrow speed, arrow recovery, arrow looting, and merchant arrow inventory. This mod also does the same thing for bolts for crossbows.

 

It is already apart of Skyrim Revisited and would also be great for any STEP pack that focuses on weapons or gameplay. It also supports Dawnguard and Dragonborn, and has a BAIN and NMM/MO installer.

 

My personal tweaks are +50% arrow and bolts damage, +50% arrow and bolts speed, and +100% merchant inventory.

 

The one drawback is that it comes with quite a few esps, so if you are getting close to 255, it can require some merging.

I personally use SkyRe which itself comes with a lot of .esp's and really the only thing from ABT I ever used was the higher arrow recovery and speed. The recovery I deal with via tweaks in Wyre Bash and I can live without the faster arrows.

ABT is a great mod, I used to use it before I included SkyRe in my playthroughs. If I move away from SkyRe I will most definitely come back to this mod, it's well designed and easy to use.

SkyRe changes the speed of arrows and bolts as far as I remember. You can tweak arrow speed via WB tweaks too.

The mod (i think) was originally in STEP a long time ago. I've had it installed in my personal play-through since day one. One of the INI tweaks (distance arrows fly) in STEP is from this mod actually.

 

My personal choices are: 50% Faster Arrows and Bolts, Increased Bolt Damage +50%, Increased Progressive Damage +50%, Loot Arrows +100% (this allows you to recover the majority of your arrows from bodies which to me is realistic)

 

Each of these are a separate ESP (5 in total); however, Bash Patch merges at least one or two of them if I remember correctly.
