Obviously using the Replacer version and I don't think we need any of the optional files.  Not sure how they stack up against Vanilla since I haven't played Dawnguard yet, but Neovalen uses them in SR so they can't be too awful :P

I tried it a while back. Too gaudy for my taste.

 

I'll stick with the vanilla HR textures.

They look a bit overkill on the screens to me. They are too... modern - in a sense of modern day approach to vampires (see the shitty Twilight saga and other crap like that). Not sure if you know what I mean...

Some of it is a bit too sexy for my taste. And vampires don't get scarier if wearing gothic paint in their face. But other "dresses" look pretty good! :-)

The more I look at it the more I think: "How is that better than vanilla textures with the HR-DLC?".

I really like it personally.. especially when running around Castle Volkinar. Harkon looks really imposing with the new armor. I guess it just depends on how said person envisions vampires.

I have been useing this retex since its first release and i find it suiting perfectly since vampires are always known to be over the top and dress the best they can for the time. And ware the finest of the fine clothes And these suit vampires perfectly at that fact so they can use there "attractiveness" and other things to attract there "pray" among other things.

I tried this recently and was sorely disappointed. Too gaudy and "cheap" looking, with the gold sections looking more like yellow paint than metal, and the texture quality itself seemed too "noisy". Maybe it was just my tastes, but I just found them to be completely out of place in-game and had to uninstall.
