This is a SLE mod that can be used for SSE.

Recommend drop in favor of using EmbersXD version

 

EDIT: I had a version of Ultimate HD Torch that included torch.nif, which is incorrect. Screenshots follow. Note that the flames are largely dictated by the mesh:

1. Ultimate HD Torch + New Thinner Torch + Inferno Fire Effects + Embers HD (Step)
2. Ultimate HD Torch + Inferno Fire Effects + Embers XD (swapping for the Embers XD torch.nif)
3. EmbersXD (all torch assets)

I propose we drop this in favor of the mesh used by Embers XD, since the flames look and behave much more believably with that mod's mesh

You have something installed wrong because there are no conflicts. This mod is a mesh. Ultimate HD Torch is just textures.

Huh, looks like we have been using Ultimate HD torch for a long time, and we (or I) must've used the hi-res fire effect version, which does include the mesh.

Thanks, I will fix that and get some screens for eval that way.

New Thinner Torch is only ever-so-slightly thinner. I prefer the Embers HD/XD meshes (dictates fire look/behavior) and Embers XD textures (Over Ultimate HD Torch).

I compared New Thinner Torch with the torch in Embers XD and I prefer the torch in Embers XD as well.
