FantasyGamer
Hi, Maybe this is normal behavior, but I wanted to check with others anyway.I've followed the S.T.E.P. guide V0.2.0b succesfully and played some time in-game.Everything is working fine as expected and I started looking into ENB's (which can be awesome but are fps destroyers). When playing without an ENB I get around ~100 FPS in Whiterun and ~157 FPS in interiors. When playing with an ENB, however, I get ~40FPS in Whiterun. I installed iiENB and turned of FPSlimit and Vsync in the ENB settings to no avail. My specs are:NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 TiIntel i7-4790 @ 3.60GHz16GB RAMGame installed on HDDI know ENB is very heavy on the system, but is ~60 drop in FPS considered normal? wojsku
These are perfectly normal results. You can try enb which has less efects enabled and will be less taxing on fps e.g. light version of cathedralist enb. However it is still enb so it will consume significant amount of your fps. Personaly I'm testing without enb. Get much higher fps and smoother experience but requires high refresh rate monitor.
TechAngel85
Yep, that sounds normal. It all depends on the ENB used and/or the settings enabled. Screen resolution will also be a factor on performance. 1080 is a lot easier to render than 4K.
