GrantSP Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 The description page says Animated Weapon Enchants by Vysh is include in Enchanted Arsenal. Looking at the two together, EA has added NO Sound versions of all the effects that AWE provides. Instead of the NPCDragonFlybySD [sNDR:0003E491] mentioned above, the no sound versions use MAGEnchantedUnsheatheOther [sNDR:001037D8]. Is using a larger mod, just because it contains a possible fix to an already installed mod the best option? What about all the extra stuff? Is that needed?
Octopuss Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 It's not needed, it's just awesome, that's the only reason. Tons of effects to choose from and combine.
Xaviien Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 OK. There definitely is some conflict between this mod and AOS, unless I'm quite mistaken. I'm going to find it and kill it. I think it is the stamina enchantment on weapons. Whenever someone draws one of them, it sounds like a dragon is landing nearby. Surely, that is an impressive effect, but not correct at all. Edit:Ok... so it isn't a conflict at all. It is the mod entirely. Seems the author has added a Effect Shader \ 14006E60 <wpnCloudyGreenFXS> to have the NPCDragonFlybySD [sNDR:0003E491] ambient sound. I'm guessing it is a copy-paste error? The problem may be more extensive too. I might want to edit this thing!Do we need to have a vote to change the options on this to Vanilla sounds? The dragon landing sound when unsheating a weapon is not very immersive, and far from Vanilla.
Xaviien Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Updated mod page and changelog to recommend Vanilla Sounds version as per discussion in Enchanted Reload Fix thread.
TechAngel85 Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Don't forget to update the changelog for changes like this add well. You can just add it to the 2.2.9.1
Xaviien Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Yeah, I did. Updated above post.I got confused on how the changelog should go due to it being incomplete (obviously) and slight inconsistencies between 2.2.8 and 2.2.9 changelogs. Discussed further in the 2.2.9.1 dev thread.
