cptmcsplody
Go On ahead is in the Heads Up Display mostly cos it ended up the Heads Up Display merge in the classic guide.A quality world map, better falskaar map, better dynamic snow for map are actually in the same place as they are on the classic guide which in turn is same place Neo had them for SRLE Base so it was never changed. Looking at there are no overwrites so i guess they could be move to sections which make more sense.Okay, makes sense now, on the subject of Heads up display, have you given any thought to adding SkyHud? It can be unpacked so it is only interface files, no plugins, and also has a compatibilty patch for iHUD. There is also alternative presets besides the ones that come with the mod. Link to comment
DarkladyLexy
OK So all the mods I planned to put in are now in (Apart from the Main CR) Next I will be working through the merges. I will take a look at the many "mini" patches Darth has made and start pulling together the main CR. This might take awhile but we are getting there all be it slowly. Link to comment
BuddyKidd
Have you looked at Total Character Makeover as a replacement to WICO? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1037/? Link to comment

Yamnyak_King
Talking about Conflict Resolution Patch (Main one and for NPC Retextures): I can not use yours, because I landed on Skyrim Unbound instead of LAL (mainly because I want to try to participate in new CouchWarrior's project, maybe somebody here heard about it). Also, I've installed some extra mods here and there, which are not in your guide. And I didn't install the majority of NPC retexture mods and RS Children (I chose Rustic Children instead). I've only installed WICO and Ethereal Elven Overhaul. So, I probably have to find out how to make CR patches myself. Are there any related instructions here on this site or somewhere else how to do that? Is it hard to?If I won't be able to do it for some reason - is it critical if I'll go without it? What issues does it cover? Also, as far as I remember hair mods are not the part of CR patch for NPC's, so I'll suggest you two mods: 1) Salt and Wind for KS Hairdos https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/79735/?tab=files - makes KS hair look more natural 1.1) As an option - Immersive KS Hair - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/12004/ - removes some hair from the main KS mod, which don't look appropriate for Skyrim environment or which are not very well done. 2) https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/7992/ - Hallgarth's Additional Vanilla hair - small pack of hair which fit very well in game. Honestly, I'm very concerned about many NPC retextures and overhauls. They are GREAT in most cases, but so many of them give so unappropriate haircuts to NPCs. That's why I didn't instal many AWESOME mods from your guide, and it makes me sad, because faces look magnificent, and some haircuts are really in touch. I like how Uthgerd and, for example, Delphine look with Bijin mods installed. But most haircuts from those mods look really out of place for me. Link to comment
Darth_mathias
Just wanted to leave a note...when using Relic Hunter ASLAL start and this setup, the outside of Akaviri ruins where you begin is home to multiple wolves and two spriggans which attack before you even get out of the tent where you wake up. Even dropping difficulty to novice I've died multiple times before I could even grab any gear (and many times after that). They've killed my Guild folks a couple times. If I sprint like heck into the outpost, Arginal is sometimes stuck in combat and won't speak to me, so I can't start the mini-quest. I'm not sure what mod may be adding them there or if that's an SSE vanilla thing (when I played Relic Hunter start in Oldrim there were no creatures at the site). But just letting you know it's proving to be frustrating to get going from that start. Thanks for all your work, I was loving Legacy on classic and excited to be going on SSE now!hey sorry for ignoring this for so long we have only just added the Relic Hunter I have worked what mod adds the Spriggans are coming from which is Whiterun Forest Borealis formid xx012ad2, xx012ad3, and xx012ad4. As these are not directly conflicting Relic Hunter they don't show as conflicts in xedit so What I suggest you do is use xedit add them to your own CR and add a disabled flag. I willl add this for our main CR. Link to comment

Probably AAE though if you use it, yes. In which case they will have decent resists. Link to comment

What issues does it cover? CR is fun. And tedious ;) If you want to actually play the game soon, better stick with the guide! Having said that, I also go my own way here and there. If you want to do your own CR, watch this intro video by Sharlikran: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rqAvJKGdPbUNot a GamerPoets tutorial, but very to the point. Bear his "jokes" in mind, the guy's one of the devs for xEdit and knows the stuff. Then you can refer to the classic guide's CR sub-guide here: https://wiki.step-project.com/index.php?title=User:Paul666root/Subguide_CR_SRLE_LOTD&oldid=81511 Use it merely as reference as a lot of stuff will be different, but it may give you an idea of what you need to fix. Just inspect your load order thoroughly for conflicts and carry on to the patch the records you want. It'll be really time consuming. Neovalen's original CR guide may be a useful reference as well https://wiki.step-project.com/User:Neovalen/Skyrim_Revisited_-_Legendary_Edition/Conflict_ResolutionYou can always use the provided CR and mini-CR files, remove the masters you don't use (add dummy plugins in Wrye Bash, load CR in xEdit, fix any broken records, remove masters). From my experience this isn't enough to have it fully fixed and you still have to resolve conflicts specific to your build, so you'll end up going through the records one by one as well. Won't save you time but it may well keep you from overlooking stuff. Link to comment

We already have Immersive KS Hairdos Lexy did look at slat in the wind but she didn't like it that much. Yes Conflict Resolution is very important to squash bugs and make the game do want it to do. I suggest you take a look at FNVedit training manual https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/38413 (yes it was written for Fallout New Vegas but is still relevant). Before I wrote the SRLE Extended Guide I wasn't very good at conflict resolution or using xedit but it not that hard really just use common sense and the golden rule the last plugin wins the conflict that is what the game will use. godescalcus
LOTD Patches Merged updated on the Legacy SE page.Sorry for bringing this back SirJesto but have you tried to merge ALL of LOTD patches as one? I have about 90% of the supported content in my build. Practically only left out a mod or two, and conflicting ones like Zim's vs Unique Uniques. When I merge them all there are the dratted navmesh conflicts. Is it safe to simply delete the navmesh form from the merge? Link to comment

When I merge them all there are the dratted navmesh conflicts. Is it safe to simply delete the navmesh form from the merge?I use most of the patches as well but I don't get Nav errors in my merge. Probably because I don't use Open Cities or Solitude Skyway, which are your likely culprits for those errors. (or are likely contributing to those errors with other patches).Anyways, I'm not sure deleting the Navi is the right thing to do. You may need to load up the merged patch in the CK to rebuild it right......but that would mean esm-ifying a LOT of mods in the process.Sorry, but I can't offer any other help in this regard.
