Lexy's: Legacy of The Dragonborn Special Edition

Recommended Posts

Yes, I think I use the updated version of the equaliser script from your page. I'll double check later.

Edit: I did use your script, I saw your comment section at the top of the script. I will try to tweak it tonight/tomorrow. Does anyone else have this in their output from the script?

I checked mine and I don't have that output.

So I finished the guide and almost everything is great except I have two problems.  1- occasionally my game will crash when zoning into riften and 2- I have no raindrops.  I've tried everything I can think of to fix these issues.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

Have a look at 000C8220 'SkyrimStormRain' Control-click on the RainStormParticles SPGD:0010780F. There you'll see that the raindrops should be from from Weather Systems Merged but the Box Size is 0
fxRainParicles suffer the same fate. I did forward the Box size from True Storm to the latest CR but it may not have totally fixed the problem.

There might also be an issue with Audio Overhaul Skyrim - True Storms Patch.esp but I have not had a chance to fully investigate it.

I am also seriously considering switching to Obsidian Weathers and Seasons

I just exited the Helgen cave for the first time with my completed load order. Granted, I'm not very far into it and lots to test yet, but so far I'm loving the look and feel of this build. I had one black face which I fixed, and two invisible armor which I haven't figured out yet (they were only during the beheading scene and I couldn't really investigate). The other issue I had was the no rain issue.

I solved the rain issue on my build by doing the following:

1. Loaded my Weather Systems Merged profile into xEdit

2. Under the merged esp, I opened up Shader Particle Geometry

3. I carried True Storms esp's values into the Weather Systems Merged esp - the only two values that needed changing were "# of Subtextures Y" and "Box Size" (I assume Box Size is really the important one here)

4. Saved the Merged file changes and closed xEdit, then opened my entire load in xEdit

5. Selected Shader Particle Geometry from Weather Systems Merged again and carried those two values from the Merged esp all the way to the furthest right column (in this case it was Lexy's LotD Conflict Resolution)

6. Saved the changes to Lexy's CR, closed xEdit, and fired up Skyrim

Voila! I had rain!!!

Not sure what needs to be done to keep this from happening with successive builds, but this worked perfectly as a one-time fix.

I will give this a try but I thought I carried over all the Shader Particle Geometry to my latest CR. For the record, the reason that the Shader Particle Geometry is not being forwarded is cos that what we tell merge plugins to ignore this is due the xedit flagging them as errors when they are not.

Thanks for the tip.  I was able to edit the values in mine just like you described, but it didn't fix anything for me unfortunately.  I am getting an error message in loot that telling me that "Immersive Citizens is incompatible with "dawnstar.esp", but both are present."  I doubt that has anything to do with the rain, but it may have something to do with the random CTDs.  I still have no clue about what to do about the rain issue.  Gonna start disabling mods one by one.

I still have no clue what's wrong with my smash patch. I mean WITHOUT it active, Camilla Valerius (Riverwood) will escort me to the bridge as part of the quest normally but if I active my smash patch she'll just stand there in front of her store, not doing anything (I still can talk to her tho). I fear this will effect not only her but any future npc's that I'm not meet with yet and completely broke my game.Anyone have same issue wit me? Help please..

I believe I fixed the issue!  Apparently it was a conflict with the enb and true storms.  I hit shift + enter to open the enb menu in game, scrolled down to rain, and unchecked "enable".  This immediately fixed the problem!

Thank you! That also fixed the invisible rain in mine.

Hello!

So, I've followed the install guide, and added a few mods on top. Game is working great, but I've decided I REALLY don't like the traps oneshotting me when I have no way to avoid them. I tried to deactivate Lethal Traps, but it doesn't seem to have any effect on my game. I still die in one swing to the swinging axes trap in Bleak Falls Barrow, with no way to avoid them.

Can someone help me remove this mod please?

I haven't finished the guide but this has always been one of my big worries in the realism vs gameplay debate. Yay traps are invisible like a master thief placed them there but I'll be doing nothing but save scumming as I get one shot by traps that I never could see.

I just finished the RaceMenu section. As helpful as the video was, could we have a step by step to tell us how to install it like other mods in the guide have us do? I'm 99.9% sure I did it right, but the discrepancies between the video and what we are doing in the guide make me feel like most users that aren't very familiar with MO2/Windows functions would confuse many people at this step.

So it seems that I need to do this every time I load my game up.  Does anyone know a way to make this permanent so that I don't have to do it every day?

Ignore LOOT warning about ICAIO and Dawnstar we have been using them together for ages so it ok.

Ah ok didn't know that will add a note I am planning on changing the default ENB for the guide anyway.

Not spotted this but them again I don't get the claw that way.

I was hoping to get a way with not having to write it all out.

Open the ENB GUI Click on SAVE CONFIGURATION and then APPLY CONFIGURATION.

I am still trying to figure out my The great equalizer problems. Can anyone post an SSEdit screenshot of record xx05414a where xx is the load order index of Summermyst? Doing some calculations but can't see anything wrong. Worst case scenario I'll patch it manually.
