Azami_Nene Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 Yup it is fixed. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalkhow do i fix it xD 1
TMike73 Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 As long as your Windows 10 is up to date, it is fixed...you don't have to do anything else
dammit183 Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 Oh gosh, I had this exact same problem. It's been a while since I fixed it, but IIRC there was a problem with Enhanced Vanilla Trees. I reinstalled or fiddled with the load order or... something. Sorry, I'm not sure exactly what I did. But that was the mod that needed fixed. You, you! You have saved my life. Activated the vanilla trees mod and it's all cleared up, god i'm an idiot. Thank you stranger!
ConfigofHead Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 Hi guys, Although I'm fairly new to modding, I have already managed to get a 100 mod SSE savegame running. But then I stumbled across this phenomenal guide: THIS is exactly the kind of game I want to play! Thanks a ton for this immense effort put into setting up this guide! So, I "downgraded" from SSE to LE.Now, for three days I cannot make it past the first section of the guide :-(I did everything required on the prerequisites page, including BETHini and all, but everytime I load up the game, it CTDs as soon as I save (I cannot count how often I saw this ##!Q!"" prisoner cart ride). This is now may fourth attempt, as all attempts before I completely removed the game from Steam, to make 100% sure nothing sticky can cause this. I gotta say: I'm totally lost... Here's my load order and mod list so far (as said, it represents just the first section of the main guide, prior to the Texture enhancements): # This file was automatically generated by Mod Organizer. Skyrim.esm Update.esm Dawnguard.esm HearthFires.esm Dragonborn.esm HighResTexturePack01.esp HighResTexturePack02.esp HighResTexturePack03.esp # This file was automatically generated by Mod Organizer. +Grimy Plugin +OneTweak +Skyrim Script Extender +Cleaned Vanilla ESMs *Unmanaged: HighResTexturePack03 *Unmanaged: HighResTexturePack02 *Unmanaged: HighResTexturePack01 *Unmanaged: Dragonborn *Unmanaged: HearthFires *Unmanaged: Dawnguard The rig I'm running: Win 10 (64 bit)i7-4790k @4.00GHz16GB RAMGeForce GTX 970 w/ 4GB RAM I'd appreciate any help, I don't want to give in to this... CheersDo you have "UsePatchSpeedhackWithoutGraphics" set to false in your enblocal.ini? If so, try setting it to true and see if it still crashes.
muetzl Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 Do you have "UsePatchSpeedhackWithoutGraphics" set to false in your enblocal.ini? If so, try setting it to true and see if it still crashes.Nope, will do later on, thanks for the tip!Right now I decided to see if it still crashes if I use pure Vanilla without ENB or any mods installed.
muetzl Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 @ConfigofHead: Yay, so apparently it IS the ENB which causes the crash!I did a new clean installation, without even BETHini tweaks, and UsePatchSpeedhackWithoutGraphics=false, and it didn't crash. When turning it back on, it crashed again. Bad thing is: I'm no expert in this, so how do I fix that? This is the crashing enblocal.ini: [PROXY] EnableProxyLibrary=false InitProxyFunctions=true ProxyLibrary=other_d3d9.dll [GLOBAL] UsePatchSpeedhackWithoutGraphics=false UseDefferedRendering=true IgnoreCreationKit=true [PERFORMANCE] SpeedHack=true EnableOcclusionCulling=true [MEMORY] ExpandSystemMemoryX64=false ReduceSystemMemoryUsage=true DisableDriverMemoryManager=false DisablePreloadToVRAM=false EnableUnsafeMemoryHacks=false ReservedMemorySizeMb=128 VideoMemorySizeMb=0 EnableCompression=false AutodetectVideoMemorySize=true [THREADS] DataSyncMode=0 PriorityMode=0 EnableUnsafeFixes=false [MULTIHEAD] ForceVideoAdapterIndex=false VideoAdapterIndex=0 [WINDOW] ForceBorderless=false ForceBorderlessFullscreen=false [ENGINE] ForceAnisotropicFiltering=true MaxAnisotropy=16 ForceLodBias=false LodBias=0.0 AddDisplaySuperSamplingResolutions=false EnableVSync=false VSyncSkipNumFrames=0 [LIMITER] WaitBusyRenderer=false EnableFPSLimit=false FPSLimit=10.0 [INPUT] //shift KeyCombination=16 //f12 KeyUseEffect=123 //home KeyFPSLimit=36 //num / 106 KeyShowFPS=106 //print screen KeyScreenshot=44 //enter KeyEditor=13 //f4 KeyFreeVRAM=115 //B KeyBruteForce=0 KeyDepthOfField=118 [ADAPTIVEQUALITY] Enable=false Quality=1 DesiredFPS=20.0 [ANTIALIASING] EnableEdgeAA=true EnableTemporalAA=false EnableSubPixelAA=true [FIX] FixGameBugs=true FixParallaxBugs=true FixParallaxTerrain=false FixAliasedTextures=true IgnoreInventory=true FixTintGamma=true RemoveBlur=false FixSubSurfaceScattering=true FixSkyReflection=true FixCursorVisibility=true FixLag=false [LONGEXPOSURE] EnableLongExposureMode=false Time=1.0 BlendMax=0.0 My Card is configured like proposed in the last step of the prerequisite page... muetzl Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 everything looks OK just set UsePatchSpeedhackWithoutGraphics=True until you install the enb and you should be good to go.Well, what can I say: didn't know it was THAT easy Will do, thanks all, hopefully I can make it through to the end!
ConfigofHead Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 ^^ Yeah, that was my problem when I was experiencing this crash a while ago. As soon as you have the Vividian ENB installed from the guide it should stop crashing.
mcshame Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 When I did a clean windows 10 install on my PC I had something similar happen, special edition working great, set up Skyrim classic, working, install ENB ..crash! Banging my head on a wall until I read the prerequisites, old direct X needed to be installed as it's not on Windows 10. May want to check that.
mcshame Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 I realize now you said that you saw the cart ride and then crashed...for the direct X issue you would even get to the main screen.
berndaroy Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 Lexy hi! Its mine - claim your property web link directs to modern brawl page, should be https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/83453/?
DarkladyLexy Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 hey guys i am not the well versed in werewolf lore am i right in saying that you should only be able to transform during the full moon, waning gibbous moon and waxing gibbous moon? You shouldn't really randomly transform during other phases.
muetzl Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 I realize now you said that you saw the cart ride and then crashed...for the direct X issue you would even get to the main screen. No worries, I have installed all old versions of DX on my system anyway, so I was pretty sure that could not be the issue. So far, I made it without crash up until the World Expansion section, so knock on wood...
DarkladyLexy Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 hey guys has anyone been able to create Ongar's warhammer from the LOTD Kegbreaker quest I have all the ingredients have the required smithing skill and yet I skill can't create this bloody hammer. Personally I think the recipe from LOTD Merge Patch might be boinked. the Recipe require a horker tusk but the merge changes this CACO Horker tusk I am scratching my head and i can't see the difference. Edit: Never mind have finally managed to create the warhammer think it has something to with the mod Assigned Storage that i use for global storage of craft components. I took everything those storage containers I was able to create the warhammer.
