berndaroy Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 Yes Ma'am, I'll go put myself on the naughty step and wait for dad to come home and have a talk with me LOL. No problem regards to landscape still working my way through. Just a query on prerequisite page. The official HRDLC1,2,3 are a known problem(don't work well with LOTD) and we have replaced with optimized versions...this I'm sure you already know, so question is should any mention of them be in prereq page and not just have them removed. Lastly do you foresee updating LOTD to v19...it would seem to have stabilized. Thank you sweetness

bmccarti Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 So as you may know, I recently completed the entire guide. Things are going great so far. I've noticed that the guide is now updating to include many new versions of mods. I haven't started my game yet, so I was wondering if it is worth it to scrap what I have and instead install the updated version/mods in the guide. What am I missing by not updating everything? Thanks. bmccarti

Things with saying things like that is you fall into the trap most of us fall into at some point you ending modding the game game but never actaully playing it. Plus I am constantly tweaking this guide. So best to go forth and play since your built and stable. example take me and Darth between us we have over 1000 hours on our steam account but hardly any of that is actual game play most of that is mod testing and guide maintenance. bmccarti Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 Ha that is totally what would happen too!! After the DynDOLOD update I had to force myself to stop. I do love the challenge of modding, but I'm getting anxious to actually play the game! As far as the RS children potato head debacle, I was able to solve it crudely by using the RS Children Non-Playable Override patch that I had saved from a previous playthough. That file is no longer available on the RS Children nexus page, leading me to believe that my problem, as you said, is a conflict issue. I added a bunch of mods, so I'm going to try to see if I can somehow figure it out using TES5Edit. I just started reading the gigantic FNVEdit Training Manual so hopefully that will help point me in the right direction...
Monobloc Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 i'd say to wait the v19 full update to profit from the lastest version of legacy and that's it.
bmccarti Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 Okay, just read through the conflict resolution section in the FNVEdit guide. Is it just me or does this seem super straight forward to do? Not sure what I was so worried about! Thanks for the link to the guide! Looking forward to resolving any conflicts this evening.
Veezy Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 I've gotten to the portion where there are ENB related files. Since I'm not using an ENB, is there anything I need to do differently outside of skipping those three files? Anything I should/need to replace them with? Anything to look out for following the rest of the guide? BTW, thanks in advance for everybody involved with this. I've continued testing after each part (shutting of esps that haven't been downloaded yet) and it's continued to just work.
Gutmaw Posted September 6, 2017 Posted September 6, 2017 ok thank sweetie I have removed taht record from my test CR so for those of you that want the bleeding each of things downloadthe update from the dropbox. If i don't hear of any issues by this weekend I'll port them into the "Offical Main CR" on the Nexus page. Okey dokey, Snazzy LotD v19.1 patch done. Loaded on my mod as Beta for now...sent it to Sirjesto to review/add to LotD Patch Central (at which point I'll take it off my site). You can try it now and see if u find any bugs, or wait for it to get to LotD site.
reddvilzz Posted September 6, 2017 Posted September 6, 2017 well, i can't comment on it as i am having major issues just getting the ruddy patcher to run first it LOTD but we got th fixed but now is AAE is throwing it toys out the pram but i will not be beaten. I tell you this better be worth all this pain and suffering. That is weird, my AAE never throw any errors and we're using the same version right? The latest? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
Veezy Posted September 6, 2017 Posted September 6, 2017 Update may need to happen to the guide. Snazzy Furniture and Clutter Overhaul has updated to 1.6 yesterday (9/6/17) and also added a patch for LotD.

Look 2 posts up from yours and you'll see why

Looking forward to resolving any conflicts this evening.Conflict Resolution isn't all the difficult really it mostly common sense all you really need to remember is the last record in an esp or esm is the one the game will actually use.if you get stuck you can always PM Me witha screenshot and i will try my best to point you in the right direction. That is weird, my AAE never throw any errors and we're using the same version right? The latest? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalkwell I did for me it was cos the script was look for non-existant keywords but with the help of the mod author and a few updates later we go there. I have had I quick look at the result and I like what I see and it might help with the balanace issues some people have been moaning about. The resulting esp merges into the bash patch so all is good there you need to add a STATS tag to the plugin in Wrye Bash but no biggy really.I might add this to te guide. I've continued testing after each part (shutting of esps that haven't been downloaded yet) and it's continued to just work. There are a few of things like ENB Terrain Parallax Fix and Enhanced Lighting for ENB you wont need however losing those would mean you will have errors in the CR we provide and you'll have to manually remove them yourself. Can I ask why you have chosen not to run with an ENB?

The Great Equilizer has been working pretty well for me so far; I had a good look through the records this morning and it seems to have done a pretty good job with the game balance. Just haven't played much in-game with it though as uni has come first this week. Edited September 6, 2017 by Elektroshock
