Nozzer66 Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Thanks, we are aware that the merges do need to be added. We are also aware that some files may link to older versions. The guide is still a bit fluid and is a work in progress. Files will be updated as myself or Darth get to them. Give us a little time, please. If you do happen to find one that's not yet updated then you're going to be fine using the newer version. The guide will be updated shortly to reflect the new versions. A new conflict resolution patch will be issued to reflect this as well. Many thanks.
jdsmith2816 Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 The guide links to an older version of wildcat, should we use the version 5.03 mentioned here or the current one?[Wildcat - Combat of Skyrim]COREWildcat - Combat of Skyrim - 5.03 - by Enai SiaionFiles to download :MAIN FILES - Wildcat v503 Current
berndaroy Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Hey Nozzer mate, on the prerequisite page under MO configuration, you have "Verify that NMM Version is at least 0.63.0, if it is not then update it to this value." Should that be MO 0.63.13 or does it not really matter..ta mate Berndaroy

StoneyMason Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 Just a head ups if anyone was actively putting a build together at the moment. The most current listing asks for the 3.0 beta version but from what I could tell those files are only in the 2.0 version. Maybe a known thing already but just posting in case anyone else comes across it. CORE Serious HD Retexture Skyrim - 3.0beta - Z4G4 Files to download : MAIN FILES - Serious hd retexture Skyrim LANDSCAPE 2K 3.0 beta Special Installation: Install only the following file(s) and/or folder(s): textures/dlc02/landscape/dlc2road01ash01.dds textures/dlc02/landscape/volcanic_ash_darkcliff_01*.dds textures/dlc02/landscape/volcanic_ash_rocks_01*.dds textures/dlc02/landscape/volcanic_ash_tundra_01.dds textures/dlc02/landscape/volcanic_ash_tundra_03*.dds
Nozzer66 Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 Yes thats a mistake on our part. I am unable to fix that at this moment. I'll add it to the fix list.
D1Z4STR Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 What will happen if I don't unpack the .bsa's? will it make a difference? By the end of the guide are we at the 255 esp mark? I am in the heads up display section of the guide and i have chosen to not unpack them. Should i turn back now and and unpack them starting from other fixes? I have 450 GB free on the SSD.
Nozzer66 Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 (edited) There's times where we ask you to delete or hide files. If you don't extract the bsa for that file you (often) can't hide or delete said files. This isn't always the case, though. Usually more the case for script, dds and nif files. Most readmes etc are packed outside the bsa. As I have said before if you don't unpack them it's fine but make sure you have them all ticked in archives else a horrorshow may occur. They're not unpacked for space reasons, just that loose files will take precedence over those in bsa files at load time. There's discussion about pros and cons of doing it; but it is a discussion for another thread. Space wise you should be fine. If you want to save a little space on your SSD though, direct MO to download files to a directory on a discrete hard drive. This saves me about 39 gig. Edited March 3, 2017 by Nozzer66
