A quick question about running Wrye Bash with MO2. I noticed that Wrye Bash creates a directory in my Steam Skyrim SE directory, alongside the game folder. The directory is G:\Steam Library G\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition Mods, and contains two sub directories, Bash Installers and Bas...

The basic issue is that I've been unable to install the UOP via Wrye Bash because when I click Install on the Wrye Bash context menu I get the following error: Extraction failed: 7z.exe return value: 7. Details follow: -

Hello, good people of the interweb I finally decided to download Wrye Bash and it doesn't even let me make my first bashed patch. As soon as I open Wrye Bash, a message shows up (https://ibb.co/dtEwmb). I didn't really know what it means, so I ignored it and proceeded to make a patch. Imagine my...

Hello, I am not good with modding apparently. I have way too many mods and my game is so screwed up that it works 63% of the time. Really could use the help, which is greatly appreciated. My issue: I think the crash has to do with a mod, so I'm trying to update my Bashed Patch. I go to run Wry...

Running executables through MO works perfectly, but closing them is a different story. Every time I've run any of SSEEdit, LOOT, Wrye Bash, or Mator Smash through MO and then tried to close them, I'm given a crash and an error message; furthermore, anything which should be going to the overwrite fol...

I had trouble installing dyndolod, I posted here and Sheson was kind enough to help me by suggesting disabling the bashed patch. I did and installed dyndolod fine. And then I rebuilt the bashed patch and re-enabled it. Now I can launch the game, get to the menu and then start a new game. and then it...

So I posted this over on the Wrye Bash thread but since most of them don't actually use MO2 (instead opting purely for WB), they directed me over here. Anyway, what happens is that whenever I attempt to start Wrye Bash standalone (306 or the new 307 beta 1) from within MO2 (both 2.0.7 and 2.0.8.1)...

I've encountered problem when creating Bashed Patch (BP) using WB with MO. Whenever I create new bashed patch using STEP recommendations I always end up with LOOKUP FAILED! string on some objects or with some items. I've checked BP with Tes5Edit and almost everything is filled with that string excep...

I've been going through the Step Core guide (which is fantastic by the way). But I've hit a roadblock. I am at the point where I me the bashed patch with Wyre Patch, and for the life of me I can't quite figure out the Loot rules, specifically the one for Enhanced Lighting for ENB-Lite. It's driving...

I just bought Skyrim and I was following the beginners guide for mods (on reddit's skyrimmods subreddit) and I'm at the Wrye Bash step. I'm at the step where I am trying to launch Wrye Bash in MO but it won't show up in my executables in MO. I add the the title "Wrye Bash' and add my binary path "C:...

I wanted to have automated process to install 'Skyrim Moding Base' to fresh Steam installation, so I wrote this simple unpacking python script - github.com/Pulecz/SkyrimModding During sorting all the mods I came up with mod_name_validator.py also on the github. So i've come across another problem...which is pretty dang big. During the creation of my bashed patch it relocated my Update.esm, Hearthfire.esm, Dragonborn.esm, Dawnguard.esm, TESVEdit folder, and Docs folder into the overwrite folder. It didn't copy it as the files are not located there anymore....

What is the proper format for -g comand line arguments?
Wenwrendo posted a question in Wrye Bash Support
Could somebody give me an example of an accurate -g command line argument used to specify the game for Wrye Bash to manage? I have both Skyrim and Oblivion and am using Wrye Bash Standalone to manage Oblivion. Wrye Bash is installed in a separate folder from my Oblivion installation, and I like it... -
I'm experiencing a problem with Wrye Bash that I'd like to share with the Community. In simple words it seems that WB, at the end of the bashed patch creation, it is incapable to re-read back it's own documentation file, that one which is created with the bashed patch. The situation: 1. Bashed Patch...
