  1. I'll give it an extended look then. Seems to have fewer conflicts with other mods too - ele most specifically.
  2. Are there any advantages to switching to WATER from RW2? I don't use the full LoTD/Reqtified and instead pick/mix onto SRLE base. No leave the base game bsa's packed. also remove the hrdlc and keep the optimised textures from SLRE installed.
  3. ENB's autodetection of vram size isn't reliable. You should set it manually with vramsizetest. It's why boris made the tool. Edit: and the guide should say to start at a value of 64 for reserved memory. Certainly users of 900/1k series nvidia gpus will always stutter if using other values.
  4. Yes the STEP hint to subtract memory values from vramsizetest is wrong, and always was. You run the tool and plug the number it gives you in to enblocal.ini. Reserved memory is system dependant, but you should always start at the lowest value and work up, not some random value in the middle and work up. I'd have to defer to Doubleyou on the ini value, I was fairly certain only 3 of the values for bolt/arrow aiming were cared about by the game, hence why only 3 options not 4 in spini/bethini
  5. Just taken a glance over the guide - I notice you mention to subtract 170 from the vramsize test tool. You should not. The value from the tool is the value that goes in enblocal.ini, Boris even says as much on the download page for the tool. Also reservedmemory should start at 64 and increase as necessary. Not so much of an issue on windows 7 but for users of 8/10 starting at 512+ will amplify stutter not minimise/remove it. In addition 900+ series cards stutter with values > 64. Both enb & onetweak will force borderless fullscreen regardless of the fullscreen setting in the ini file. You should check your post spini tweaks against the step ini guides, I don't believe 3pbolt exists as a setting to change else it'd be in bethini. It may also be worthwhile taking advantage of MO's ini tweaks functionallity - drop an ini file in a folder called "ini tweaks" in a mod, and you can enable/disable tweaks at will without editing your clean ini's made with bethini.
  6. Extract bsa's as instructed in the guide and you'll be fine and won't end up confused at later stages.
  7. so install unp instead of unpb and don't use unpb meshes... not hard. Racemenu and xpmse are required however.
  8. DSAMG only replaces the sound file, it doesn't edit any records.
  9. ISC replaces the sound descriptor record for the dragon death sequence that DSAMG spruces up. If any of you use it you'll want to copy the record from skyrim.esm to your conflict patch file to override isc. It doesn't change the sound file.
  10. https://pastebin.com/2hcE4u9h Fixed a few typos found while resorting my mods against this new categories list.
  11. Final fix post: https://pastebin.com/uMqQVBNt Spotted no more errors while updating my mod categories in MO
  12. Can't edit post now so this will have to do: Another updated link: https://pastebin.com/EzU96pZU missed the vanilla creatures sub category. Now added.
  13. Hey all! I've updated my categories.dat for MO to reflect the new SRLE layout and included the SRLE - Extended categories in the relevant places. Not sure I'll add the LotD sections as I don't think I'll use it. Feel free to edit and post accordingly however. The file does contain a few custom categories of my own. Fixed Link: https://pastebin.com/gU7FpkNW (Forgot to link the late loader sub-categories to their parent) Enjoy!
  14. This detection works when running outside of MO?
  15. RaceMenu will crash skyrim in a few places with or without crashfixes. Saving sculpted head meshes is one place, messing with the body weight slider too much will do as well. Meh321 discovered a memory leak with racemenu and hairs as well. I forget what he said to do about that. You can find him on the r/skyrimmods irc channel most days during central european day time.
  16. If you're using saftey load, it forces ram allocation/deallocation to occur only on exterior to interior change over, otherwise you see what happens in your screenshots. Crashfixes with the os allocators enabled will resolve the issue and remove the need for saftey load however. As to whether you need to dual boot windows 7? No, not unless you plan on using 4K skin textures and load up on NPC's. If using 2K textures with 2k/1k normalmaps, you'll be very hard pushed to need more than the 4064MB of VRAM you have access to on Windows 10.
  17. No, it's just 4064. Always use the value from the DX9 test tool. That is the correct value, no deductions necessary. Skyrim can indeed only use 4GB of system ram. Skyrim always uses system memory. It can't not use system memory. Data has to load to system ram for processing before being fired at VRAM. If you can't load data in to system ram because you hit the 32bit address space cap, you get your screenshots. So, your save is not broken, DynDOLOD isn't broken. You ran out of ram for Skyrim to load the cell data. Go to a previous working save and continue as normal. No need for new game.
  18. XPMSE should always win. So go ahead and delete the moonlight files.
  19. Skyrim freezing is due to threads deadlocking each other when releasing/requesting ram. Ensure crashfixes and its pre-loader are installed and use osallocators=1 in the crashfixes ini file. Instructions are on the crashfixes page.
  20. VRAM isn't the problem. For Windows 10 you should use 4064 not 3071 in your enblocal.ini. System RAM is the problem. You ran out and skyrim wasn't able to load the cell data.
  21. This is called "you ran out of memory" :D You'll need to exit and reload your most recent save.
  22. Edit after re-reading post: Renaming wouldn't help, but following the conflict resolution guide yourself isn't hard either. Edit again: almost forgot, xedit has a script that will list references to an esp/esm. Run it and give it the number of the falskaar file and remove those records.
  23. Very easy to patch - I made a partial patch myself, I just kept VW's thunder as I preferred it over true storms. I'd offered it to Manga but he wanted to do his own thing and came up with that vanilla+ thing.... I've since reverted to CoT with ESS, Vivid Clouds & Fogs, True Storms and Vivid Snow as I prefer Vividian Vanilla's look over vividian for vivid weathers
  24. So, my setup is Ludicity FX, AOS 2 on top, ISC on top of that and those two patched for Jump sound fix... Skyrim sounds great :D
  25. On the topic of custom MO categories, I've gone ahead and edited MO's default categories.dat to include the SRLE categories. It has some extra ones of my own but all the default SRLE categories are present. You can find it at https://pastebin.com/hSFFZkMP Format of the data is as follows: MO Cat ID|Category Name|Nexus Category ID|Parent MO Category ID If you've not added your own custom categories, you can just open up the categories.dat in your mod organiser folder and replace its contents with those of my pastebin. If you have you've got some renumbering to do.
