  1. SO, I figured it out. It was my my bad for going off script. I was using that Ambient Temperature - Nevada Skies Patch. Once I removed that everything worked great.... so far.
  2. I'm having this problem. What INI tweak are you guys talking about? Please explain as if I'm a 5 year old because I see nothing about it int he guide. PLZ THX.
  3. Do you guys know how to fix the jump bug caused by Last Altar? The mod sets jump height to 1 everytime I load the game. I have to use Nausica's Tweak to adjust the jump height.
  4. So, with a heavily modded Skyrim, 3gb VRAM, 16gb RAM, and a Windows 7 64bit OS, what would be the ideal settings in my skse and enblocal .ini? (skse 1.7.2 and latest enb)
  5. GamerPoets video states that the DynDOLOD and DynDOLOD Output folders should be placed at the top of the left pane window (after Vanilla Billboards). Doing this I have over a thousand files being overwritten which seems to undermine the point of DynDOLOD. Especially considering that this is the last step I take in finishing my setup (after Bash, DSR, FNIS etc.). Also, considering that Skymills + Skyfalls should be above DynDOLOD. Why wouldn't I just leave both folders at the bottom of the left pane window? Also, while running the DynDOLOD script a "Confirm" window pops up and tells me LODGen.exe is already running. Clicking Cancel will stop the lod from generating. Click yes when LODGen.exe has stopped running. I'm paraphrasing. This may be a faulty TES5Edit installation. Am I supposed to install the LODGen from here https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/62698/? into my TES5Edit folder or leave TES5Edit as is because LODGen is already included? I was extra confused by this be cause the lastes version of TES5Edit is newer and already does contain a LODGen.exe file in the Edit Scripts folder.
  6. Hmm, that's it. Cool thanks. And what about Moss Rock DB? I know it's from another author but is it being dropped? I merged the .esp's and texture/meshes folders with no problems. Is it redundant?
  7. Can I get a list of STEP options that would be chosen if one were to forego the "STEP Users Option" and instead choose to follow the "Custom Installation" prompts? I'd really appreciate it.
  8. ENB's are nice to look at but are mainly for screen arching. Almost none are good for smooth playability. They are enticing but I wouldn't recommend anything other than ENB Boost. You should try tweaking the enblocal.ini, skyrim.ini, and skyrimprefs.ini. Check out EWI's inis on the Nexus. The inis found on the RealVision files page with the tweaks in the STEP guide work well. I'd also recommend the Weather and Lighting Pack by Smile44 (skip the enb user sections). Throw DYNAVISION inthe mix and you should be happy with the outcome.
  9. I just went ahead and reinstalled ELFX. I ran DynDOLOD and it worked. Took 55 minutes. It looks great but I had major stuttering and then a total freeze which I haven't had since before the memory patch. The good news is Dyndolod worked. The LODs looked good from what I saw. The skse folder showed up in the overwrite folder instead of the output folder. I've got some more tweaking to do. Trying a custom blend of STEP Et., Weather and Lighting, and REGS plus some extras. It's a pretty heavy load. Almost there though. Thanks for the input.
  10. ELFX -Dawnguard ELFX - Dragonborn ELFX - Moonpath ELFX - Nobreezehome I merged those four in that order. I did not merge the main .esp. What I noticed is that formid references a .nif that is not in my ELFX meshes folder. So, I tried deleting it from the merged patch and ran Dyndolod again and was just given the same error with a different formID.
  11. I recieved an error message using 1.17. I searched the form ID in TES5Edit and it is in one of the ELFX patch plugins (I'm not sure whitch patch because I just merged them before hand). Any ideas on what the problem is or how I could fix it? EDIT:Here is the exact message: Load order FormID [1b0cc260] can not be mapped to the file FormID for file "DynDOLOD.esp". It's this file that is having an issue dlc01\architecture\ELFX\dintcapstairs01.nif And now when I run the DynDOLOD script it won't create the skse folder in my designated output folder and there are hardly any textures or meshes.
  12. I found that confusing as well :)
  13. (bump) I was also under the impression that loose files overwrite bsa files no matter where they are in the left pane window in MO. Is that not correct? EDIT: please read previous post on last page.
  14. Just to get this right.. With the STEP Vanilla Optimized Textures the STD, DH, DG, DB, and Hi-Res DLC I manually optimized when following past versions of STEP are no longer necessary and may be removed from my mods list?
  15. @Keith: Yeah it was crazy high I eventually lowered it but I used it for a long time. You've probably seen that ini congurator on a couple of sites where you put in your psecs and it determines you values... well it actually recommended that because I have 6ggb ram and 3 gb vram. I've sence gone down to the old 76800. @TigerWolfe: YAY!
