  1. I have resolved the issue. Apparently is was Webroot SecureAnywhere's Heuristic Analyzer that was preventing LOOT from running completely.
  2. Ran MO as admin, no go :(
  3. I had already tried running windows update and the graphics card is working perfectly fine. I am running out of ideas myself :( I went to the Data Execution Prevention tab and that option was already checked, so that may not be it. I am running sfc now to see if anything is up, but I don't suspect it to be the case. This desktop is brand spanking new. It may be worth mentioning, but I am on Windows 10. Update: SFC found a corrupted file and repaired it, but after attempting to launch LOOT through MO, it still failed. I am out of ideas :(
  4. This here is the latest log and ini. ModOrganizer.7z ModOrganizerini.7z
  5. I moved all of the files to their own Utilities folder and out of the way. I deleted all of the settings, files, and folders in the LOOT folder in %appdata%, then started LOOT back up on it's own to retrieve the masterlist data. I launched MO and changed the binary to the correct location and then I tried to launch it through MO, but it still refuses to work. Got anything else to try?
  6. I checked ModOrganizer.ini and right now it is showing: 4/title=LOOT 4/custom=true 4/toolbar=false 4/ownicon=false 4/binary=C:/Users/(Name)/Desktop/LOOT/LOOT.exe 4/arguments= 4/workingDirectory= 4/closeOnStart=false 4/steamAppID= I have uninstalled it a few times to see if I could get it running, so it probably didn't catch it when I ran it again. But that is what it shows for me right now. (I replaced my account name with (name)). I have used MO's built in sort after replacing it with LOOT's GUI up-to-date version just so I could get the mods mainly sorted since the former route was failing on me, but other than that running LOOT through MO just doesn't seem to wanna work, and I need it to work so I can clean mods and make sure everything is in working order.
  7. Well, I moved MO and LOOT out of the UAC folders, but no luck. Still seems to be giving me that issue. I don't think running LOOT is even touching the skyrim folder at this point, since all the mods are in the MO folder, which isn't even in the UAC folders anymore. Should I still try moving Skyrim out to fix my LOOT issue? Also, I just don't understand why it only does it when I am trying to run LOOT when a certain amount of mods are active.
  8. Wouldn't moving Skyrim out of the Steam folder cause more issues?
  9. Here is everything that was requested. Hope it helps. STEP Core.7z logs.7z ModOrganizer.ini
  10. I tried all of these and LOOT still seems to have an issue working. I even tried doing the --single-process in the off-chance that it may work, but no. Update: So I disabled all of my mods and LOOT seems to work fine through MO, but when I re-enable all my mods, it refuses to open. Is a mods causing it to not open? Update 2: So I decided to deactivate all of the mods and work my way down the list to see what mods may be causing the issue... but when I got down to soul gems differ and SSIRT, LOOT started to just open a blank white window, activating a few more caused it to just not come up. I deactivated all the mods and just ran those ones that it started having issues, and they ran through LOOT just fine. Is it possible that LOOT has a limit to how many mods/plugins it can handle?
  11. I was going through the STEP Guide and I ran LOOT earlier through MO, and it seemed to work fine. I then started downloading and installing mods, but when I got towards the end, I tried to open LOOT to adjust some metadata... and it doesn't seem to open. It brings up the message that my MO is being locked, but after a few seconds it just unlocks and LOOT doesn't come up. Opening LOOT outside of MO brings it up just fine, and it is definitely set up properly in MO as an executable. Looking through ModOrganizer.log, it shows all of my mods being read and indexed, but somewhere in there I get a message saying "Windows Exception (c0000005). Origin: "C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll" (77d26d79). Last hooked call:" That error is listed twice in a row and then some mods being indexed afterwards, but it doesn't seem to get through indexing all the mods. Any help with this would be appreciated.
  12. The thread did not help much when I had found it. The only possible solution they had was the instructions given when installing the mod, and I had already followed those instructions closely. I will search the forum for more solutions if possible.
  13. I am not sure if a mod is causing this, but the texture for the coin purse looks very off. It is a mix of black and other colors in which the coin purse should not be. I followed the step guide as well as I could, but I vouched to use the STEP Optimized Vanilla Textures instead of running DDSopt.. is this what could be causing the weird looking coin bags? And if so, is there a way to fix it?
  14. It seems I have fixed my issue completely, thankfully. It took a lot of research, but I believe what solved it was one of two solutions: Solution One: I used the Injector version of ENBoost instead of the Wrapper Version. Solution Two: I replaced the Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini in Mod Organizer's profiles/STEP Core/ with the My Games/Skyrim's tweaked ini files. Apparently STEP Core's profile ini's remained defaulted and were never changed, not sure if this had any affect though.
  15. I haven't tried them yet, but I wasn't going to attempt it until I got my game stable enough to tell the difference. I just wanted people's opinion on it.
  16. I do have that set to 1 already. I'm coasting google as well in an attempt to figure out this issue I am having. I am still half-suspecting ENBoost, but at the same time I do not know. Is there a more broader forum or sub-forum I can go to regarding this issue?
  17. What is set to 1?
  18. I have vsync enabled in ENBoost, but for some reason I am still getting stuttering in my game.. and at times I am seeing my FPS going above 60 which tends to be pretty bad. My FPS also seems to be bouncing all over the place between 20 and 60+ rapidly, so I was wondering if ENB has a way to stabilized my FPS as I believe that may be what is causing my stuttering. Or perhaps a mod or program that will do this as well?
  19. So I was surfing the web and I found some curious ini tweaks, and wanted to get some feedback on what others thought about it. It is not anything I created, just found. v3 New INI settings. Faster. Smoother. =============================== Details of the new ini settings. I list only the settings I changed that have the most significant effect on performance and smoothness. Skyrim.ini: [General] iNumHWThreads=4 iHWThread6=3 iHWThread5=3 iHWThread4=3 iHWThread3=2 iHWThread2=2 iHWThread1=2 iAIThread2HWThread=3 iAIThread1HWThread=2 iRenderingThread2HWThread=1 iRenderingThread1HWThread=0 bMultiThreadMovement=1 bUseThreadedParticleSystem=1 bUseThreadedBlood=1 bUseThreadedMorpher=1 bUseThreadedTempEffects=1 bUseThreadedParticleSystem=1 bUseThreadedTextures=1 bUseThreadedMeshes=1 bUseThreadedLOD=1 bUseThreadedAI=1 bUseHardDriveCache=0 [HAVOK] iNumThreads=2 The rationale for these changes come from the idea that the HWThread settings may be related to logical CPU affinity. For example, iNumHWThreads is known to specify the number of logical CPUs that Skyrim should see. I have the i5 750 so I set mine to 4. The other HWThread settings appear to assign specific jobs to each individual logical CPUs. For example, iRenderingThreadxHWThread settings each are assigned to logical CPUs 0 and 1. The other HWThread settings are equally divided between the remaining logical CPUs. What this hopefully means is I now have two logical CPUs dedicated to processing rendering data (geometry and stuff), and the other two logical CPUs dedicated to everything else. In my tests, the settings above are not only more effective than my original settings, but changeing them further either makes no difference or is worse. Speculation. If you have a different kind of processor like the i3 with hyperthreading for example, you'd set iNumHWThreads to 4, and the rest divided equally amongst the rest while still dedicating two logical CPUs to rendering work. If you have a dual core processor, you'd set iNumHWThreads to 2 then dedicate one logical CPU to the rendering work (both rendering settings to 0 for example), and the other for everything else. The iNumThreads=2 setting under [HAVOK] comes from the idea that I now have two logical CPUs doing non-rendering work. If I set it to 3 for example, then one of the rendering CPUs would have to do non-rendering work, and performance would probably suffer. The other UseMultiThreading settings simply make sure that they will take full advantage of the logical CPU assignments. I am only speculating on the true nature of these settings so if somebody could confirm or refute it, I'd be much obliged. But to give you an idea of how effective these changes truly are, fps now stays above 40 outside and stays firmly at 60 inside. Even at more than 3 years old, my rig can still kick some serious butt. With the right settings, of course. Incidentally, if you also play Fallout: New Vegas or Oblivion, these ini settings above will work just as well.
  20. Should I install the Fireplaces Add-on? It is offered in the new All-in-One package.
  21. Also, 2.5 of Farmhouse Chimneys is no longer available so I am unsure if I should download 2.6 or not. 2.6 comes with even more options and I do not know if they will conflict/effect anything.
  22. I see. Well, real life does come first after all. :)
  23. Awesome, but there was a couple other things I noticed that were missing from the trophy hall as well. There is no place to put Thane weapons other than the weapon racks already available. I've wanted to use the middle and side racks from display of different sets of weapons and armors in the game, by metal and theme.. but to put the Thane weapons in their own section. I also felt that the guild weapons you receive in game might need their own spots as well (Staff of Magnus (Mages), Blade of Woe (Dark Brotherhood), and Chillrend (Thieve's Guild). Wuthraad is the exception since there is already a spot in the trophy hall for it, along with it's shield.
