Does anyone know if this integrates with ASIS? If so, then it would be great for a warrior class too, as it makes things more challenging. Good candidate for a STEP Pack or even Core STEP if it is truly vanilla friendly.

DROPPED Bethesda Hi-Res DLC Optimized (by Vano89)

Bummer, I really didn't want to need to introduce BSAopt into the guide. Â You were also quite strongly against using batch files, what happened there? Â Can the same effect really not be achieved with loose files, don't they overwrite the HDDLC anyways?Yep, you are correct. However, this is a fix for vanilla textures. Although, I am not sure that it matters with all of the replacers overwriting. We can point to the fix then as an option but not include in the guide. Although this is still a candidate for the Nexus, as eiwyn has never finished his product -

I want to, but there's no other really good weapon skins unless we want to start compiling a few (Millenia's for the "lower tier"), and this may conflict with TC's wishes for consistency.I vote to include this an Millenia, but defer to TC -

Can someone corroborate with the mod author and get back? I know it is still in active dev. -
Any other input on Better Magic after testing? Could one of you Balanced-Magic advocates create that thread with a descriptive OP?

I will check it out ... sounds like a great candidate for 2.3 (unless STEP admin want to squeeze in for 2.2.1) -

Good to know ... so are both of these tweaks new in 3.0? If so, I will update the OP and stress applicability to 2.2 only.

https://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1344060-guide-using-custom-textures-with-the-new-highres-pack/ So they correctly situate themselves at the bottom of your load order? Â Sweet, I love when a note can say "Additional instructions not necessary."Basically, all one needs to do is install Vano's texture pack just as they would any other texture pack. They will overwrite without doing anything at all. Also, Eiwyn's fix is insufficient. We should introduce this procedure in the guide and host those files on the Nexus. I will set that up. -
Thanks for this, Tech. It at least answers part of our questions (there is conflict, and the end result will be OK). Still have to wonder if USKP corrected this sort of thing in a similar manner though. Hints may be in the version log of USKP (or we could ask Arthmoor).

Recommend installing all mods separately in order using WB. Combined solutions can come in handy when there are particular textures you want from several mods rather than all of them; however, this is difficult to maintain when mods get updated.
-
The only way to check easily would be to go into the CK and check several examples against original vanilla (I don't know how to do that offhand)... no simple task unless somebody knows of a specific example(s)

Again based on screenshots, that looks promising. I like the detailed version. I don't have much time to check these out in game, but both mods are worth checking out. Anyone up for doing some analysis?. I'm not worried about no more updates in the case of Nuska's mod as we are still using some mods that over 6 months old (and older). As long as they look good and fit STEP, it should be a no brainer. Agree as long as the same changes apply to all genders in game. Otherwise, this is imbalanced and I would vote to wait for a mod that addresses everything. Updates to texture mods are not important; however, it is important that a texture mod addresses everything that applies in a consistent fashion IMO.

She basically says at the bottom of the description that she is finished with this and won't be doing males. If all races of males will also be handled in the same manner by someone else (in the same quality), then it might be worth it (as long as the models can still produce the same as vanilla ... the female screens all have good skin, but I don't like the models they are wrapped over).

z929669 replied to torminater's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Do you need to uncheck the read only box to play the game? No, as the game would still be able to "read" the files. Just not change them. Will add this to the guide! Totally forgot about this. Ditto (duh). I went right to my INIs and marked RO right after reading this -
Good idea, but it seems that it is dead in the water and will never have options for male chars.

SKYRIMLE Automatic Variants (by Leviathan1753)
z929669 replied to Anosognos's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I really want to use this one, but I find that there are only a couple of mod authors that have created AV "plugins". I just don't have the time to mess with creating AV-compatible versions of the obvious candidate mods, so waiting for this to become more popular. -
This is not possible. WB only uninstalls that which it has previously installed. Obviously, WB did not install any of the vanilla BSAs. My guess is that something about the Steam verify is incomplete. You will need to retrace your steps and document them exactly to try and reproduce. Then post back those steps (leaving nothing to guess).

Look like he added some type of GUI support in-game.ENB works great, GUI appears to be broken for me .... It works (sort of), but has no effect.
