  1. A small addon today for the 2.4 version New! Pines with less Saturation (for colorful ENBs)
  2. @TechnAngel85 on your last post, you use vivid weather enb, the new patch for vividian or no one of these two ?
  3. because i was expecting it Manga ! ;-)
  4. Vivdian ENB now compatible look at this las tupdate from the author Version 7.45Added: -Compatibility with Vivid Weathers 1.22. Please select Vivid Weathers at the first page of the installer. Its not present in the Custom install options because it has its very own options. (please note, extended Lens effects should not be used with Vivid Weahers for now) - Updated Mindflux Particle & Subsurface Scattering patch.
  5. so if i undertand well, tag "testing" is added by techangel85 to evaluate if you keep it or not ? @Neovalen but in the step guide i don't see it. Is it included in the step package ?
  6. some advice on the best order to test it on a actual step installation ? @ techangel85 i see thids mod with accepted tag ? am i missing something ?
  7. For your complete information, i must add this in the next monthes you'll see these games - System shock 3 - Bards Tale 4 - Torment - Ultima underworld 3 : stygian abyss all made by most of the original creators. i'm especially awaiting SS3 that i forgot to mention in my previous post. The first SS is perhaps one of the best immersive game ever made. Ultima underworld 1 & 2 : A game that came too early in the history of the game video. compters were missing video capability.
  8. don't forget the trick explained here about a bearb (in the other post about this mod) if you test it again https://forum.step-project.com/topic/773-ethereal-elven-overhaul/page-2
  9. Updated today UPDATE 3/18/16:This update is two fold. First, I added a fix for the meshes in the previous update, the Mindflux ENB patch. There was a problem with the one mesh corrupting when it was saved. I also updated this mesh in the main mesh file, so this update applies to all users. Thanks to Burpy for bringing this to my attention, and generously providing screenshots for the next part of the update. Second, I've added a new set of textures for ONE MOUNTAIN. These are a combination of my work, and 32cm's lovely Tamriel Reloaded mountain textures. Therefore, I'm calling them ONE MOUNTAIN RELOADED I was always a fan of all the tiny details he worked into his textures, but I wanted to bring a more rugged and craggy feel to them. My aim was to impart the weathering of centuries of freezing and thawing in Skyrim. The textures are available in 2k and 4K sizes (for the main mountain textures). The matching LOD textures and the 7000 steps textures are as included.
  10. @greg, yes King quest serie was written by a woman writter and were very short. ichoose lucasarts way. Did you remember a manor, three boys, a mad Genius, a time machine and a hilarious story ? how many nights did i spend to solve this quest ... the recent "Life is strange" didn't invent anything.
  11. i'm not so good enough in English to write long sentences so sorry for all my errors. but for me, as an older gamer, i played with Ultima V on a 386, VII serpent isle (one of the best rpg of the world) on a 486 DX266, Dune, dune 2000, Eyes of a beholder, Elder scroll (the first oneand after all versions), and so many rpg or adventure games from the 90'. I remember also old lucasarts adventure game. Alos Zork for me, King quest not, it was in my mind too easy, "for the girl" in my memory. it was a time where you had to adapt dos for each game, Memmaker was king and the couple higmem and emm386 the emperor. DRDOS 5 or MS DOS 5 then 6.22 Since 84 i have practiced almost all best rpg or adventure game taht has been published. First on a ZX81, then Spectrum and commodore 64 (i had a ultima 2 version on commodore). Many older gamers remember simon's basic on commodore. I leaded a few guilds in my gamer career, first around warhammer figurine games. the real one, then around ultima online, Wow, the real one, vanilla, not what it has become now, a child game for noobs players that want to beat a raid in one hour. When i was playing wow, having my first horse at level 40 as a paladin was a guild job in a very hard instance. i also have in my memory a funny game named Zack McCracken (if i remember well), Elite (the first one on 386), Lands of lore, Baldur's gate, and many more of them. They are still here in front on my, as i write this, each box has its place on my large wall of my office. Actually, since the first alpha, i'm following ultima renaissance with shroud of the avatar. beta will end in a few month and we will start to fill this universe. Are modern games good games ? i don't think so Look at what is done actually. Best rpg game last year is an old school for me (pillars of eternity). The best adventure / RPG / immersive game for many old gamers, torment, will come back in a few monthes. Beta is opened. Ultima underworld is coming too, slowly. I think many experimented gamers that had the luck to know these years are awaiting these new old fashioned games. It was a time where a story was more important than a nice screen. Actually, i'm playing Pillars, Eve Online, Homeworld remastered and its new variant called Deserts of Kharak, some pure wargames, sometimes Arma, Restarting Skyrim game modded with step and some others mods, A little bit fallout 4 ( too much visual, not enough story, too much politically correct. wont last for me in my memory)
  12. This mod seems to complete the actual step mod for this subject made by Kajuan https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/74121/?
  13. i think that as the author said, we could expect a serious improvement later for the enb. it's a job well known for him. Some of the best enb took monthes to fit their actual level of quality. As i was before a COT 3 the 5 user, i could say the same for "best enb" that weren't good with some parts of COT weather. Personnaly i used vividian with cot and also other one well known. just a litle bit tuned for vividian. having an official pack for weather and lightning that would replace the actual one that has been put end of life by the authors (Smile44 and Hishutup) since last month would be a great idea. We could see it as user like a lighter pack than the old one. Once again, sorry for this poor English.
  14. Version 2.4 published (yes i know step is about 1.87) * trunks on treepineforest05 and 02 are now approx 50% reduced in width. This should fix the problem with the trees appearing floating above ground in slopes. * Collision has been updated on treepineforest05 and 02 * Removed the low poly branches on treepineforest02 and replaced them with 2D branches that instead are more detailed (doesnt look like tooth picks like before). * updated vurt_PineAtlas04.dds (new pine needles) * updated bark for green pines (repeating pattern should be less obvious) * Lupins are now slightly shorter and less "in your face" (as requested by a few people)
  15. Personnaly my installation was made from step guide with the weather pack added (COT 5 etc...) and vividian ENB i deleted 7 different mods to replace it by Vivid weather and enb, updated a few mods (this one of course) and i won't go back. I like really Vivid. easier. i currently just have desactivated weather a few hours to check the new addon for ember HD without the conflict. EDIT : You are right for who must win
  16. A noux addon to Ember HD mod as i test actually vivid weather, i'll have to choose because some nif files are in conflict.
  17. after a few test, i must admit that some of the flora in hd seems too much as Techangel85 explain. Some are nice lonely but there is a problem when mixed with normal flora. i'll try to find some time to explore them one by one (individual mod posted).
  18. Almost all singers are using the same song structure, it's not a clone if words and note are different. The same at school.
  19. the last modification since 6 weeks Version 3.77(2016-02-24) - Updated the XPMSE RaceMenu Pose Script - Removed resctrictions for Sword and Board animations Version 3.76(2016-02-07) - Corrected a condition for one-handed weapons on hips and shield on back - Added a recheck and restart routine so XPMSE starts on New Games without Save and Reload Version 3.75(2016-01-28) - Removed restriction for dual sheath animations (I don't care if you use a vanilla game) - Added fomod typo fixes by adelinadragonborn
  20. thanks Kesta, don't worry about polishing, it's very clear yet like that and for a user like me, not a skyrim modder, it's also very clear.
  21. i checked some place where you have mobile sign with this mod. With the 1.0c version, it looks like the sign is less moving with the Wind than with the first one. as the author said, mass has really been increased. there is just a funny fact with this mod. Signs are moving...well moving... Wind is present... but with this mod there is a miss somewhere. you expect to see other things moving. Perhaps adding some clothes on a rope drying into the Wind, some dust or bushes pushing by it also. in other words like george could says. Sign are moving .. what else now ?
  22. yes, texture for weather part but almost meshes for the enb part
  23. for information during my test based on the last step core but with some other mods in conflit for the weather part - Step vanilla optimised texture pack - Step compilation installer - Skyrim HD Lite - enhanced night in conflict for the enb part - realistic water two - both step package (see weather part) - SMIM - DROPS - Embers HD - Usleep probably some file iforgot to hide in all of this but it gives you a first idea. it was a quick installation. TechAngel85, especially now that the weather package in no more supported if i'm right by his author. Inside a step installation it would be a great improvement. It was just for fun :: I still have an old installation on one of my computers.
  24. Let's try to test it on an older version 2.2.9.0 perhaps ? i think one of my computer have still a two years ago version ;-)
