Just got second GTX 560 Ti - SLI Setup Q's
Neovalen replied to Holymartyr's question in General Skyrim LE Support
The problem with Skyrim in SLI is not performance but rather minor glitches like no HDR/flickering water. Disabling SLI resolves these but I find I generally don't notice the problems unless I look for them. -

Stealth is quite busted in Vanilla IMO... what changes in particular turn you off? -

I don't find RND or Frost fall overly hardcore at all on default settings. More of a that makes sense type of thing. I've been watching Gopher in his let's play series and drawing a lot of inspiration from that. Means a lot. :) I'll take a look at the patch order tonight again. -

I played for 2 hours last night with no crashes or bugs and a 100% stable 60fps. Tested script latency also and looks good. Hope you find where you went arwry... let us know. Don't be discouraged even I messed up a few times and had to find issues that I had to redo. On another note, I am seriously considering SkyRe... opinions? -

If your talking about the GTX690 it acts as if it is in SLI. Same for the ATI equivalent. SLI/Crossfire is the wave of the future... sad that Skyrim is based on such an old engine. -

Black armors? No I haven't seen that. As far as ToL... it should only pop up if you equip the "Ancient Silver Ring" item that was added to your inventory (maybe you did that). -

I think I have reflected this in the guide. If I still have anything left over let me know but I think I covered them all. -

Ordering fixed, patch instructions are now located in the RUPPB section instead of Destructible bottles and patches are renamed to reflect this new order. -

Zhel, your issues should be fixed except the ordering of DB->RUPPB, working that now. -

Will look into these. Added some notes. -
I put them on my guide as they are found and remove once INI is updated by ETH. Obvious a day or so delay of course since I work.

Relighting Skyrim is much improved and the authors are quite receptive to users. I have been using it for quite some time but haven't re-evaluated for Revisited yet but by the looks of it I'll be sticking to that.

Agree on River wood trader. Honestly no single lighting fix is perfect yet. I know relighting sky rim is just now starting to work skylights etc so imagine it will improve over time. Its also the only one supporting dawn guard and soon hearthfire.

That's a new feature in 12.4, will need to adjust by removing some of the notes. -

I just got the page I'm editing through external edit and I didn't have any problems. Now, however, I'm getting the same error when I try to use external edit. Did you fix your problem with this?Nope, never did. Resorted to just editing it manually though the built in edit.... notice it hangs now and again also and I have to re-open in another browser window. Stopping may need to look into it. -

Only thing your way does different is when you run Vanilla I believe it still loads the SKSE scripts. Basically all that section was telling you to do was to install the scripts folder using MO instead of manually so they only load when running revisited and not vanilla. exe's and dll's: Install manually into Skyrim Folder. scripts: Install via MO. -

Many reasons... MO (currently) has more functionality than Wrye and doesn't copy files 100x over. I haven't used Wrye to actually manage my mods since 301 version however, so not sure how much has changed. I especially like the installer better (no need for BCFs) or manual repacks. I do have a list of why I chose Mod Organizer in the pre-requisites section but haven't updated the reasons list for 12.4 yet (but it got longer!). The new MO version is very very nice. -

Apparently Steam has decided that my Skyrim installation is now unable to be run(wtf?!) so having to give it a re-install. (thank god for MO) -
Yes, I always recommend unpacking all bsa's.

I have Perseids installed in my game. Adds just that little bit...

I styled it for 1920x1080 as the standard. (I imagine this is most users)
