  1. I think there should probably be a Pack for Trees/Grass, just like there's one for Lighting/Weather. There are a ton of these mods and they all look pretty nice.
  2. Any news on a compare yet? If we need to, would switching from this mod to RW2 be safe for a save file?
  3. And it's compatible with SFO? EDIT: Nvm, yes it is. "Yes, but you need to use the basic version of SFO. Make sure if you install this mod over SFO." Just a note: Some of the trees versions have textures and meshes which look like it overwrites TreesHD.
  4. If you don't add the command to skyrim.INI, does that mean that it's set to 20 by default?
  5. Vanilla version of what? I see 30 - old trees, 20 - trees perf, and 20 - Trees
  6. Yea. Stupid question. My fault. I won't be able to test this out until next week but if it doesn't cause any problems and it's LORE friendly, then I don't see any reason not to include it in the guide.
  7. Looks pretty cool. Does it have an ESP or is it just textures/meshes?
  8. https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/3288//? I didn't see this thread anywhere else on here so I figured I'd post it. Another grass/trees mod by SparrowPrince. Thoughts?
  9. What is the recommended iMinGrassSize setting for this mod? 75? It's in Skyrim Revisted but there's no iMinGrassSize setting recommended.
  10. "Climates Of Tamriel - Weather Patch - Fog Rain OvercastLink to the mod's Wiki page. Install Supreme Storms Patch - load after "Supreme Storms - Cot Version.esp". Use BUM or BOSS GUI to sort this correctly." Does BOSS not sort this correctly by itself?
  11. Z, why do you feel that 181b basic with recolored pines/lod looks the best? Are you saying that because of stability? Or actual visual look? I'm thinking about switching to 182 but I'm afraid of the same wacky LOD issues I had gotten before plus instability. I recolored the snowy pines and most of the LOD for 181b, so that is why I think it looks the best ;) You will see in the gallery I link this evening. Not sure how well it looks with ENB, but either way, 181b has mismatched default LOD for most tree colors for some reason. Basic version is also best for stability. Ok great. I'll look forward to looking at the comparison's. Did you do your own recoloring for 181b? Or are you referring to the Optional recolored pines/lod patch that you can get from the SFO mod page? If you have your own 181b patch, can you post it?

  13. Interesting, I'm using the highest res textures possible with ENB .221 and Project ENB and I don't crash at all during the beginning. I have freezing issues from time to time so saying my Skyrim is 100% stable is an outright lie.
  14. I just want to confirm that removing that mesh file does indeed fix the issue. Not sure how frequently the author checks his messages/nexus thread so this might have to be made as a permanent fix in the SR guide.
  15. This thread is only for the ILS from Solstheim to Skyrim, right? Are we talking about ILS's in general?
  16. Do you have an example of the shadow problem you experienced with the full version?
  17. I thought you were recommending the Basic version in SR Legondary Neovalen. Why the switch? The only reason I ended up switching from Full(Original SR) to Basic (Current LE) was mostly shadow issues on the new trees. I actually like the added diversity quite a lot. I used to use the 1.79e and loved it except I kept getting weird LOD glitches like floating trees and 2d trees no matter what I did. I tried 2048 LODs for Vurt's but that didn't help either. Only switching to 1.81 basic fixed it for me :-/.

  19. In order to force AA from CCC, you have to mirror the settings in the SKyrim Launcher, which obviously will mess up ENB
  20. Ugh. Project ENB is only updated for 0.221. You can't use it with 0.223 I don't think. I'm more concerned about freezing at this point :(
  21. I think that EBT INI just overrides the Skyrim.ini setting since it is loaded with the plugin (I assume). There should not be any problem but for the fact that EBT scripting can contribute to freezing and CTDs. We should not be using this INI tweak in the guide, I'd say. You should just remove it then since we already removed the iMaxDecalsPerFrame=256 tweak in SkyrimPrefs.ini. It's just kinda confusing, that's all :-/.
  22. Yea, I know. I used to use 4x SSAA before ENB 0.119 and below. I miss it :-(. It used to be so sharp. I've found that the SMAA + EdgeAA combination is meh but I guess I really don't have any other choice if I want all the ENB effects.
  23. Sorry to post again but I found something else interesting In STEP 2.2.7 (and previous versions), Under 'Skyrim.ini Tweaks', it says to put fDecalLifetime=512.0 for Enhanced Blood Textures If you open the dD - Enhanced Blood Main.ini which is included with the mod, fDecalLifetime is set to 256, not 512. Does this/would this create a conflict? I'm asking because I have been having freezing and am suspicious that it might be caused by Enhanced Blood Textures.
