ACCEPTED aMidianBorn Book of Silence (by CaBaL)
DoYouEvenModBro replied to EisDrache's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I just want Cabal to get around to retexturing the Daedric armor because I think Vanilla looks low res and the mod currently in STEP for Daedric looks too cartoony. Psssssst Cabal psssssstt Daedric Armor plz!! ;-P -
Which ENB are you using and why?
DoYouEvenModBro replied to DoYouEvenModBro's topic in General Skyrim LE Discussion & Support
I've tried to Calibrate it tons of times. I've used the lagom website as well as the Windows Color Callibration utility. I just can't get it right. Right now I just put the monitor on "standard mode" with "normal" color temperature (6500k?) and turned up the driver color saturation about 20%. -

I honestly cannot figure out how to get my monitor to look right. I can find the PDF guide for it and link you to it. That way you can see all the settings. Would that work? Here is the manual to my monitor. https://www.asus.com/Monitors_Projectors/VH242H/#support_Download -

I've been using your Supreme Storms mod for a while now and it's one of my favorites. Great work and good luck with whatever you do next.Â

Which ENB are you using and why?

I was using Skyrealism ENB with the Cinematic Preset. I REALLY like that one. It stays really close to vanilla and really lets the CoT lighting and ELFX effects shine. However, recently I've been wanting a warmer and more color-rich enb to really bring out the ice/sky/grass/fields of Skyrim so I figured I'd give Project ENB a try since it is made specifically for CoT. -
SKYRIMLE Skyrim Realistic Texture Overhaul Dragonborn

That's funny because I actually work full time. 40 hrs a week. I'm just a shitty employee lol. 40+ here and being a manager and hearing someone say that is like... :? I actually am a good employee. I was just joking. I just am online all day while I am working. -

You're German? I feel like I'm the only American here, haha. That's probably why I'm the most annoying :-p -
Strange Floating Waterfall?
DoYouEvenModBro replied to DoYouEvenModBro's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Apparently this bug is caused from old cell edits left behind from realistic water textures or whatever it was before it was Water and Terrain Enhancement Redux. This is because they both edit the same things. The Skyfalls author is going to release a new version to fix this. -
Missing Level up/Quest start/complete sounds
DoYouEvenModBro replied to DoYouEvenModBro's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Good call. I probably forgot to only select the "sneak attack" option during installation and most likely accidentally installed it with all the other sounds muted. -
Missing Level up/Quest start/complete sounds
DoYouEvenModBro posted a question in General Skyrim LE Support
Do you guys know the drum sound that plays when you start a quest or level up (either a skill or your entire character) or complete a quest? It's like a quick DUN DUN. That sound is missing in my game for some reason. It's not too big of a deal but I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this. I'm sure it's just from one of the sound mods. -

ACCEPTED Deadly Spell Impacts (by isoku)
DoYouEvenModBro replied to stoppingby4now's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I just got rid of DSI all together. The reason being that the game slaps a texture wherever a spell is formed. If you're in a battle and either you or an enemy is using a wall of flames or wall of ice spell, the game is rendering like at least 50 of the impact textures everywhere which take a while to go away. That's just adding so much to your game load. Same with the BSF Effects mod. It's just adding extra scripts and textures that will clutter your game up. Not worth it in my opinion. Maybe if you use the lower resolution textures of the these mods though. I haven't tried that. -

Something is causing ENB to create a terrible sunray effect
DoYouEvenModBro replied to DoYouEvenModBro's question in Post-Processing Support
Yea, you have to disable those effects, otherwise you can't use Hardware AA because it won't let you, right? I'm using SMAA_ULTRA preset with the subpixel AA enabled in enblocal.ini. It looks fine in-game but in screenshots you can definitely see the jaggies. I was going to try the new ENB software Transparency AA but haven't had time to play with it yet. -

I'll try it out. Are all the other Skyrealism settings default? Also, which skyrealism preset do you use? I use cinematic.Â
