  1. Sounds good. I'm at work myself.Â
  2. Thanks! Yea, I don't see that mod included in STEP anymore. Should we still use the optional SRO recolored pines/lod file?
  3. Honestly, I like Detailed Chests a lot more for the first comparison, but for the second comparison I think SMIM looks a ton better. Uh oh.
  4. What's DTTL? Sorry :-X. Too many acronyms for me lately.Â
  5. Which type of Detailed Chests are you using in this compare? Is it the STEP recommended 'Washed Dirty' version? Honestly, I had the opposite opinion previously but I'm liking the colors in the SMIM version better. In terms of texture resolution/quality, they look about equal. Does the SMIM .esp only affect Chests that are in snowy areas?
  6. It wasn't supposed to tell you any locations. I referenced a thread previously that dealt with the SMIM Chests .esp overwriting Detailed Chests. I just wanted to post a link to that thread so that you knew what I was referring to.Â
  7. Thread I referenced earlier:Â https://forum.step-project.com/showthread.php?tid=3361
  8. This is mainly for those that use the Regular edition of the mod. STEP still uses the Basic (v1.81b) edition. In the 'Detailed Section' of the guide, it says to use the Optional Recolored Pines and LODs for Renns' LODs. What is Renn's LODs? And what exactly does this optional change? I can't find any screenshots or decriptions.Â
  9. I think there are way more add-on weather/effects mods (like the ones listed) that are made specifically for CoT. If those mod authors started making versions for RLO Weathers then I would be inclined to check them out, but right now I will lose too many nice looking mods if I switch. Also, Wasn't quality snowflakes a part of step at one point? It was removed because of Skyrim Performance Plus. That means we shouldn't use the snowflakes option for that mod if we are using Quality Snowflakes, right? And are you sure that Morning Vog by MannyGT is fully compatible with Prod80's CoT Patch - Fog Version?
  10. I get incredible stutter if I force vsync through the AMD Catalyst as well as in ENB. If I disable ENB vsync and only use driver vsync, my fps sometimes goes above 60 and we all know that is bad. I have found the best solution is to put "off, unless application specifies" in the drivers and enable ENB vsync. That seems to be fix those issues. Is this the best option? I haven't tried those combinations with the FPS Limiter in ENB yet. Do I need to? Also, do I want Triple Buffering through the drivers? I think it only pertains to OpenGL anyway so it probably doesn't even do anything.Â
  11. Apparently it uses it's own textures though and does not show the textures from Detailed Chests. I have to look but there was definitely a thread on this from last month.Â
  12. Personally, I just install everything. For STEP, use the vanilla options where appropriate (such as fur color). No plugins from SMIM should be active as far as I know. We're only installing the meshes. The main ESP is 100% covered by the USKP. The other two are fixes and the chest one is for a snow fix. I'll have to look more into them to give a sound judgement. HD Enhanced Terrain is not being removed; it's being kept for the snow LODs and being overwritten by Enhanced Distant Terrain. Enhanced Distant Terrain used to be in STEP. I forgot to update the changelog because I never took it out of my personal mod list. lol I'll do that now. I don't see HD Enhanced Terrain in the STEP guide anymore. Was it removed by mistake? Or am I just not finding it?
  13. 1.) Shouldn't there be a note in the SMIM section that says not to use the Furniture Chest plugin if you want to use the textures from Detailed Chests? I could be wrong but I thought you can't use chest textures from any other mods if you use the SMIM one since it overwrites all other changes automatically. 2.)Â The removal of "HD Enhanced Terrain" is still missing from the Changelog as well as the addition of "Enhanced Distant Terrain."
  14. I noticed that in the Landscape and Environment Section of 2.2.7, HD Enhanced Terrain has been replaced with Enhanced Distant Terrain. There was no mention of either HD Enhanced Terrain being removed or Enhanced Distant Terrain being added. Also, why is there now an Enhanced Distant Terrain and an Enhanced Distant Terrain 2? I tried looking through at the mod forums but honestly, I am just getting confused. There are so many of these with similar names. EDIT: Disregard. I have figured it out. Too many mods with the same name! EssArrBee: I'll go ahead and lock this thread since it's not an issue.
  15. I just want to say that I would recommend combining this mod with Realistic Sun for Climates of Tamriel and Vanill, also by prod80. Thread: https://forum.step-project.com/showthread.php?tid=3440
  16. I just saved my file in qasmoke and swapped the versions. NO CTDs upon Startup and the carry bag I use from Wet & Cold is usable. No problem that I can see.
  17. What if I just swapped the versions in Wrye Bash, installed over it, and then ran a game and did a clean save procedure? I've been using the same save file since Skyrim came out in 2011 and it's still going strong :-P. Seriously. I have like no problems with it. I have one miscellaneous quest that's stuck in the menu and won't go away. That's about it, but I've had that problem for over a year and it's not a big deal.Â
  18. Has anyone safely removed W&C before? What about the scripts? Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 4 Regardless of whether or not this mod causes ILS, I want to update to the newest version of Wet & Cold. How do I do that safely? I currently have a knapsack equipped from Wet & Cold as well.Â
  19. Sorry for the stupid question...but how do I export my mod list to show you guys? Also, I 'fixed' the Solstheim to Skyrim ILS problem by quitting to the menu and re-loading my game before traveling back in order to dump everything. Not too bad of a workaround. At least until we figure out exactly what's causing it.Â
  20. I will post my load order when I get home tonight.
  21. No problem! Let me know if you come across anything.
