I have started a new playthrough and picked up Lydia at the usual point and when I go into Sneak, she poofs and does the Nocturnal Invisibility power or something that appears very similar. When I stand she reappears. I checked her record in TES5EDIT (NPC_ 000A2CBE) and spotted some oddities that ASIS was not reflecting. I should state for the record that I have Breezehome Fully Upgradeable and it modifies Lydia's Sandbox packages. ASIS was not picking up the BOYD VMAD DeadBodyCleanupScript and it was not picking up the USKP/BOYD SNAM - Faction - Rank setting. I could not see any reason why she would be given the Invisibility spell on Sneak. ASIS was correctly adding the expected Enchanting and Alchemy perks. Is there a way to look into this more? I used EFF to force her to Train and she vanished and reappeared but still had the Sneak power. Any clues?

There are variants for some of them too - have a look and see which you prefer and just grab them. They are just a mesh and texture so no ESP and no conflicts. I must admit I am unsure about some of the artistic variations he is putting in (Malacath, Winterhold and the first Meridia) but others (Nocturnal in particular) work really well. At least enough folks are asking for vanilla variations. -

Another Naked NPC - Hunter and Fugitive encounter
DanielCoffey replied to DanielCoffey's question in Guide Support & Bug Reports (retired)
I have started digging. On the assumption that it uses 0006218C WE25Hunter (Male Nord)... That uses TPLT LvlBanditMissile. That references the vanilla LVLN LCharBanditMissile but OBIS changes that to LVLN LCharBanditOBIS. The LCharBanditOBIS uses SubCharBandit01Missile for levels 1 to 9 (I was level 6 at the time of the encounter). SubCharBandit01Missile is a long list of Race and Male/Female variants like EncBandit01MissileNordM but there is an edit from USKP that OBIS does not reflect. EncBandit01MissileWoodElfM is in the list twice for example. Looking at EncBandit01MissileNordM since I am fairly sure the naked Hunter was a Nord, he gets the following equipment. One each of LVLI... LItemWeaponDaggerTown LItemBanditWeaponMissile LootGoldChange25 LootBanditArrows15 LootBanditRandom His default outfit is OTFT... BanditArmorMeleeNoShieldOutfit Looking at the outfit first since it is the most visible... BanditArmorMeleeNoShieldOutfit is modified by Cloaks.esp, CCOR_Remade and OBIS and has a SR Conflict Resolution entry. The final record is SR Conflict Resolution which should give him... LitemCloaksCommon 1Dr_BAN_Bandit_BandolierPouchLIST_CCO LItemBanditRandomArmor (from OBIS) Looking at LItemBanditRandomArmor, we see he gets one each of... LItemBanditMixedArmors LItemBanditFullArmors In LItemBanditMixedArmors at level 6 he gets either Leather Armor, Fur Armor or SublistArmorSteelCuirassVariants LItemBanditFullArmors gives him LItemBanditCuirass, LItemBanditBoots, 50% LItemBanditGauntlets50 and 50% LItemBanditHelmet50 I will stop at this point because SublistArmorSteelCuirassVariants should guarantee something on the chest slot. I have to admit to being baffled. -
I think the term you are looking for is a "binary chop" or "binary search"... https://rosettacode.org/wiki/Binary_search

I must be doing something wrong with my Bash tags but I have come across another NPC who was not only naked but unarmed as well and I need help tracking down the specific NPC in TES5EDIT. It was the Fugitive and Hunter encounter where the fugitive rushes up and gives you an item and flees. The fugitive was properly equipped with iron armour and a two-hander. The hunter was totally naked - nothing at all. He was also unarmed so rushed to a nearby chopping block and picked up the woodcutting axe before charging the terrified fugitive. Once the Fugitive was dead, I went to pickpocket the Hunter to inspect his inventory (honest) and all he had was one septim. I looked in TES5EDIT and found three Non-Player Character (Actor) records for "Hunter". One could be excluded because it was just for a female but that still leaves 000621BC WE25Hunter and 00073FBE EncHunter00Template. Is there a way I can find the record for the Fugitive/Hunter encounter and see which Hunter it is using?

I don't get script lag but I have told it not to play the consuming animation unless seated as it locks movement until it is completed. -

I was wondering if there were Modders Tools that would allow me to wander through the world, think "Hey, it would be great if I put a book under that shelf there... *click*..." and be told which Cell I was in and what the ObjectID I just clicked on was? -

One hundred and fifty books down. We are amazed by the intimate details of the mating habits of Kagouti, baffled by the Kendhall Book of Riddles and titillated by the exploits of Kieran the Bard... "Oh, the maidens of Trowbridge are passing fair..." -

When Neo gives instructions like that not to install a given file or folder, he always lists which component of the mod the file is located in. In the case of that Falskaar text file he is just saying it is the one from the Main File you downloaded. If a mod come in multiple parts, say a main and an optional file and there was something not to install, he might say not to install the .txt from the main file and the docs folder form the optional file. Does that help? -
New wave of Nexus Endorsements
DanielCoffey replied to DanielCoffey's topic in General Skyrim LE Discussion & Support
Vorona - you will want to make sure you are using the latest version of NMM. Some older versions are barred from logging into the Nexus servers. NMM is their own tool and should work well with the new endorsement reminders. If you are on the newest version then check your NMM login details. -

SKYRIMLE Immersive Fallen Trees Mod (by Jurassic4LIFE)
DanielCoffey replied to DanielCoffey's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
The author if this mod does not yet understand about handling conflicts and there is a lot that is untidy in this mod despite an update to address some of it. Unless we are prepared to tidy it ourselves, I cannot recommend the mod in its current form which is a shame as it really is effective. === EDIT : When *thoroughly* cleaned in TES5EDIT and placed at "BOTTOM Landscaping" in BUM, it does indeed work well. I cleared the ITMs, removed the three "thank you for downloading this mod" Notes and their references, cleared every nudged object and every label that had been added for the benefit of the author jumping to POI locations. I also spotted one missing USKP reflection near Whiterun. After this, there was not one single conflict with any mod in SR:LE. Realistic Water Two loaded after it so all the RWT edits were active. Apart from personal preference (that large tree in Riverwood which would quickly be removed by the residents), it works as intended. If you add Village Overhauls you may have to move one or two trees. -

It is being reported on the moreHUD page that SKSE 1.7.1 breaks moreHUD. Reverting to SKSE 1.7.0 restores functionality but of course would mean the new EFF would stop working. -
SKYRIMLE Immersive Fallen Trees Mod (by Jurassic4LIFE)
DanielCoffey posted a topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Immersive Fallen Trees Mod is a simple edit of the scenery to add a reasonable number of fallen trees to gullies, canyons and river areas. It does clash with some village overhauls that add extra buildings (such as the area around Riverwood for example) as well as RWT and I note that it has 72 ITMs and a rogue edit in the critterMothType levelled list. While it is very realistic in its implementation, I feel it should be allowed to undergo some tidying up before being used in a seriously modded playthrough. EDIT : I have suggested a list of items for cleaning to the author on the mod's Nexus page. there are a lot of redundant edits. -

I can answer the Book one for you... I recently recalculated the OBND values for users of the Bookshelves Updated Script SKSE mod so that we could fit a more accurate number of books onto a shelf since there were many variations of OBND values in vanilla. After a hiccup where I revised the OBND by hand because the CK was a bit over-zealous, the standard books are now set to -9 -11 -1 9 11 2. This gives 29 thin books on a shelf instead of the vanilla 18. The exact width of a thin book is 3.25 but I am bound to integer values so had to select 3.0 as the width rather than 4.0. As for the text changes in Cutting Room Floor, I will have a look and see what it is. If it is a lore-friendly edit, I can easily include it in the next version of BCS. I will check vs USKP for edits too. I think it is relating to Faralda's Notes which were originally a Note and are currently a Journal in BCS and Tolfdir's Book which has revised or tidied text in Cutting Room Floor. === EDIT : I have made the following changes which will be in the next release of Book Covers (no date set yet)... Faralda's Notes - Value and text contents from Cutting Room Floor but Journal model, OBND and weight from Book Covers Skyrim. Tolfdir's Book - Contents from Cutting Room Floor. This should mean that those edits in the Conflict Resolution Patch can go at the next Book Covers release. -

I have found a minor bug in Atlas Map Markers with the pond with the skeleton arm with the sword near Whiterun being called "The Lad of the Lake" instead of "The Lady of the Lake". I will report it to the author but if anyone wants to fix it in their own playthrough using TES5EDIT, here is the line to edit... Atlas Legendary.esp - Worldspace - 0000003C Tamriel - 00000D74 - Persistent - 050F41CD - Map Marker - FULL Name - The Lady of the Lake
