  1. You are running the program outside of Mod Organizer? At least that is what you should be doing.
  2. @GrantSP: Unless I did something wrong your steps did not work. I took a old laptop, that ran windows 7 pro, that I never use as a test machine. It is an old Dell Inspiron with an I3 processor. I download an new install for Windows 10 pro with both 32 and 64 bit editions and created an install USB. The new install allows you to enter your prodoct ID; however, I used it to do an in place upgrade and then did a fresh install, so I did not have to enter the product ID. When completed I followed your instructions. However, after Windows 10 pro went through it lastest patches everything returrned. Xbox, maps, etc. EVERYTHING. The windows build from USB was downloaded yesterday and this version for Windows Update only allows choices "Automatic" or "Notify to schedule a restart". You can still choose "Defer Upgrades". Anywho, windows did it upgrades and everything returned. Also with the version of windows install I installed yesterday, windows 10 pro 64 bit, there was no way to get rid of windows OneDrive. Again I may have missed something and this machine is just a test, no one really uses the machine. With my gaming machine I now have to actually pay attention as to what patches get installed. Microsoft is being very aggressive about forcing upgrades. See for example Microsoft Admits Forcing Upgrades Was a Mistake.
  3. Copy just that one file.
  4. @Neovalen: Your Merge Plugins Standalone link is broken.
  5. @Neovalen. Under XP32 Maximum Skeleton, Magic is misspelled under Base Animations
  6. @Neovalen. For Vivid Landscape series, in your guide the author's name is list as Aron; however, the Nexus lists the author as Hein84.
  7. I also followed the same steps with all the same issues, except I am using Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.
  8. After 3 weeks with Windows 10, I switched back to Windows 7. The deal breaker was lack of control over updates.
  9. Here are a couple of possible useful links. I had Windows 7 Pro, so I don't know if they apply to Home or Premier. https://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/comments/34qzni/how_to_remove_xbox_integration_in_latest_windows/ https://forums.mydigitallife.info/threads/63726-Removing-All-Default-Apps
  10. Just a quick update regarding my earlier post. I gave up updating to Windows 10 pro and went back to Windows 7 pro after I found out that there are no Marvell Sata drivers that work for Windows 10, rendering the backup I made to my large data drive useless. This has changed, after I found this site. They make signed drivers for just about every type of RAID/SCSI controller out there. I making some additional preparations, I then I will give updating another try.
  11. In fairness, I didn't do an Express install and turned off all the things that literary send information to Microsoft. That meant practically turning off all the settings that by default are on. Things that you type, contacts lists, web sites you visit, your microphone, camera, etc. This is the company that was one of the first to comply with the NSA. Yes consider me paranoid. My wife is German and I frequently tell her, after Snowden, I do not understand why anyone outside of the USA would use American software or technology. I would have done a fresh after the upgrade anyways with all the spyware features turned off. My bigger problem, was the lack of Marvell Sata Drivers. Before upgrading, I did a full backup of my system to my 2 TB Sata drive. All my modding stuff was backed up to the same drive including all my Skyrim tools and mods. In addition I install all programs that are not directly related to the Operating System (OS) on the same drive. Skyrim and OS software go on my SSD Raid 0 drive (The SSD in on an Intel RAID, this works with Windows 10). The marvell 91xx drivers are still there if doing an upgrade, they just do not work for Windows 10. Good luck finding any that do work. That was the deal breaker.
  12. Well today I forced a Windows 10 upgrade only to find there are no Marvell 91xx SATA 6G Controller drivers for my 2 TB Data drive. That happens to be the drive I install all none OS software and backups on. The marvell drivers were there, they just don't work with Windows 10. I looked all over and could not find a solution. For my short time with Windows 10, all also got the impression that it is a massive spyware program. If not careful one ends up sending all your information to Microsoft. For now I am sticking with Windows 7 professional.
  13. As far as I know STEP is still at 1.2.18. As far as I know SR:LE is also still at 1.2.18. When fully tested this may change, but I would not upgrade until all the bugs are worked out (or called for in the guides). You want to test fine, but report the bugs.
  14. If everything was working then the most likely cause is any new software you installed. If it is not broken, don't fix it.
  15. You are probably using a 64 bit version of java. You need to use a 32 bit version. Use the cogs icon and point to the correct version of java, Usually: C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_31\bin\javaw.exe
  16. On the left pane, click the wrench and screwdriver icon. Then click "Advanced". Point to your new location for Download, Mod, and Cache directory.
  17. As already suggested, try the performance version of Vividian. Another suggestion is the performance version of Real Vision. I have had good luck with it with lesser specs then SR:LE. If that doesn't help, try no ENB. Failing that, SR:LE almost always calls for 2K textures. Use 1K textures where available. Script heavy mods can cause slow downs, my problem as I run lots on top of SR:LE especially Wet and Cold. Reduce the number of scripted mods used. The biggest factor will be your graphics card and how much memory (VRAM) you have. With SR:LE, I often go over 3 GB VRAM as reported by Skyrim Permormance Monitor. Neovalen's specs are listed on the top of his guide. Compare. STEP has recommendations for its install depending on your system capabilities. Check those. EDIT: Changed MB to GB.
  18. It would help if we knew what your specs are.
  19. Are you running FNIS through MO after installation?
  20. Minor typo in FOMOD instructions. Should be BV not VB.
  21. Ok, how do we have two mods in MO called exactly the same? One before DynDOLOD and one after DynDOLOD.
  22. Any reason there are two TES5LODGen entries in your guide sandwiched between DynDOLOD?
  23. Realistic Aspen Trees has been updated to 3.2. However, I noticed there is also an update for RAT 3.2 Billboards for TES5LODGen on the RAT page. Is there a reason this was not included?
