Yeah I figured that bit, which is what made me curious why using the word would be considered nsfw. I completely understand pornographic content, but apart from that there's nothing really considered nsfw here atleast :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2

Please refrain from using NSFW words. I won't bother arguing (much ;) ) about this, but things like this have always made me curious.. Is that really an issue in the US? I know that in general we are more "liberal" when it comes to swearing in Europe, esp on tv and so on, but I can't imagine why that post would be considered nsfw Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2

Editing the Bashed Patch in TES5Edit
Vond replied to Luinithil's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Yeah it's safe, but not particularly efficient as you'll update the bashed patch a lot. Most likely better to create a custom patch that overwrites the changes you didn't want so that bashed patch will merge the correct changes Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2 -
Interesting. I was thinking of that actually recently, when modding my Fallout NV game, as I used merged patch then. Could you expand on that please? In what respect MP is superior to BP? It's superior in that it does way more than just merge leveled lists. Like with MO vs WB my recommendation is the same though - use both. Create a merged patch in tes5edit and delete the leveled lists entries from it (bashed patch does that better and tes5edit creators says it will stay that way) and just have it load right before the bashed patch Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2

MO + WB combo is the best in my opinion as well. You can't give up on WB completely due to Bashed Patch. WB is excellent by itself as well though, MO is just even better imho.

Replacement for Realistic Crime Radius?
Vond replied to Zarggg's question in General Skyrim LE Support
I'm confused too. So I go into INI tweaks in WB, select my value, then rebuild patch? You don't need to touch any ini-settings whatsoever. Just rightclick on the file Bashed Patch, 0.esp in WB's mod list, choose rebuild patch and then under Tweak Settings check the Crime Radius box and set the value to 1000 -
@phazer: Lindsey Stirling have done some excellent covers for nerds for sure. :) I love this Zelda-medley for example: [video=youtube] And to post some more music that I have no personal connection to whatsoever unlike my previous post, I'll follow the nerd-theme and post this song. It's simply amazing. [video=youtube] And since it's a Skyrim forum I guess I can post something slightly related to Skyrim too, as it's a version of a FF6 song arranged by Jeremy Soule (TES4/5 composer) [video=youtube] Same thing goes here. Song is from Guild Wars 2, composed by Jeremy Soule. And I suppose most people into Skyrim knows of Malukah too anyway... [video=youtube] And finally, something less nerdy but equally good: [video=youtube] Throwing in one last amazing song. The quote in my signature is taken from this band, a band that has spanned so many musical genres it's hard to remember them all ;) From pure acoustic norse-folk to black metal with anything inbetween, including this. Close your eyes and enjoy! [video=youtube]

Been using this as well, as all Beth's games have the same issues with quick/auto saves, mods like these are a necessity. Works very well and can be set up to use manual saves rather than the quicksave format, and also as you said there's zero conflicts. I'd recommend it for anyone Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2

I'm curious, now that steam is officially supported (and even encouraged by valve) on Linux, how many games actually work? Considering setting up a Linux install as well once I buy a new SSD so I can use one of my old HDDs for it. Been many years since I last used Linux (late 90s!) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2

Crime radius is being replaced by an option in the bashed patch that does the same without taking up an esp-slot Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2

Iirc isoku posted on the beth-forums that those plans were scrapped due to not working fully as intended.. someone correct me if my memory fails Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2

Morrowind on sale (Steam)
Vond replied to rootsrat's topic in General Morrowind Discussion & Support
Sadly I suppose they could claim it promotes piracy.. But at the same time, if 100 people (made up number obv) download Morrowind for Skywind, and 25 people buy it for Skywind, that wouldn't have gotten it at all otherwise - Beth still benefit. Morrowind is such an amazing game too so anything that promotes more people playing it is good in my book. :) -
Incase anyone is into metal, here is a fan-uploaded video of one of my old bands songs (this is from 2004, so not exactly new stuff and band doesn't exist anymore) accompanied by clips from the movie The Seventh Seal (much older than 2004!): [video=youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nC5MAQXetJs For those finding that a bit "too much", here is another fan made vid for the latest project, released earlier this year. If I had to describe it, it's more post-rock/shoegaze/atmospheric metal. Unlike previous song it's also in English rather than Swedish: [video=youtube] Hopefully the links work as I just copied over from the mobile YouTube links and changed to www, otherwise I'll fix them later Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2 Edit: Fixed the links so they embed properly, and adding this as well since it's a song I've always felt would've fit perfectly in a Skyrim tavern. Not involved in this band myself in any way but know the members. The track is the outro from one of their albums and quite different from everything else they do (viking metal): [video=youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qg4AYqm1j90

wanted Installing ASIS and SkyRe with some additional stuff
Vond replied to Iroha's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
1. SUM.esp is in the latest BOSS masterlists, it will place itself properly 2. If you use SkyRe you can't just use the mergefunction without doing some changes. Either rename Sum.esp to ReProccer.esp after it's created (and make sure to use the proper blocklists, it seems you don't since it's trying to include ReProccerDragonborn.esp in the dynamic patch) or in Wrye Bash rightclick on the masterlist for ReproccerDragonborn and change ReProccer.esp to SUM.esp in the list there. Bit more advanced but saves time in the future as you don't need to rename the esp every time 3. Copy all the entries from the qotsafan blocklists into SUM's blocklist. It's located under Documents\My Games\Skyrim\ unlike other dynamic patchers. There should be no need to disable the reproccer patchers whilst running SUM at all 4. If you have been renaming the file from sum to reproccer then it should delete the one you named reproccer.esp whilst re-running, or something odd is going on. Sorry for slightly bad answers but I'm just about to head out to work -
Morrowind on sale (Steam)
Vond replied to rootsrat's topic in General Morrowind Discussion & Support
Doubt they will, but you could always try their techsupport :/ After all, they'll get slightly more money if they help you if you insist you won't "fix it" by buying the deluxe version as well as the version already purchased -
Ack, thats too bad. :( Will keep an eye on it though Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2

Sounds very interesting. Will have a look at it for sure! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2

Gladly seconded, been using this since it's release Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2

Which mod was corrupted? Might be a common issue that there is an easy fix for :)

I've been using this, but just for a short time thus far. No issues to report yet! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2

This is from a discussion between Luinithil and myself in PMs when he had some questions about the mod, hopefully he doesn't mind me reposting it here as it's all written by him:

ENB PATCH 9 BY BORIS - WilliamImm
Vond replied to DoYouEvenModBro's question in Post-Processing Support
Unless he updated this some time ago without me noticing, it's extremely old and not recommended to use at all -
Elapsed Time 59s before game starts. Why?
Vond replied to ThieuxTaffer's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Yeah it's because of MO processing the virtual data directory mostly. Sure, a heavily modded game always takes longer to start up, but with MO and the way it works this is increased. Still definitely worth it however. :)
