SKYRIMLE Deadly Dragons - Loremonger Edition 2.0
Hackfield replied to I2edShift's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I hate to necro a thread, but I wish to know, why was this not even considered for STEP? I mean, not the 2.0, but the latest version. -
Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback
Hackfield replied to Neovalen's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
HI, I just notice something and I wanted to be sure. When you first install wet&cold, as I understand by isoku's changelog, the items are not distributed by default, the mcm says "no leveled list" as "it's not in the leveled list". But if you click it, the text changes to "add to leveled list" (and not "added to leveled list" as one would expected) "add to leveled list" as "not in the list, but if you press it, it will be added to the list" So now I believe that the items are distributed by default, and if you press "no leveled list" they will be removed from list and change the option to "add to leveled list" so if you click it again, they will be added again to the leveled list. So what is the right thing? Are items distributed by default or not? Thanks and sorry if the question sounds stupid, but I got confused somehow -
DROPPED Immersive Citizens - AI Overhaul (by Shurah)
Hackfield replied to EssArrBee's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Yes, I understand certain mods require a new game, but Shurah also stated and So I deduce the problem is not about installing the new version, but about uninstalling the old one. What could the old version have left baked in the save that can interfere with the new one? Forms maybe? -
DROPPED Immersive Citizens - AI Overhaul (by Shurah)
Hackfield replied to EssArrBee's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Hi, sorry to ask but, can someone explain to me exactly why can't we just upgrade? This mod was supposed to be script-free and because of that, "safe to uninstall" So, why can't now just go to a qasmoke cell, make a save, uninstall the previous version, load the game, wait a day, make a new save, then install the new version? -

Hi Neo, what do you think about this mod? I know you don't play FO4, but the looting system is rather nice -
It's in an early stage, but for those who already taste this in Fallout 4 I think this will become a must. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/73096/? Here are some previews https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xDN5J6I2doY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yLS8OQwdjBU So far, stealing doesn't work properly, stealed items do not count as crime, but I hope the mod author solves this soon. There is another mod that does the same, FastLoot, but this one is purely skse, no scripts and no plugin. The downside, this one can't be configured (size and position of the loot window) Let me now what you think.

It looks really good indeed, my only complaint would be about those added spells, I wish there was a version without them, just the weapons.

Hi, I'm usually sceptical (and wary) of this "magical solving" patches, and honestly, I rarely CTD, but I do have microstutters, specially when strafing, I have a fair amount of mods (200ish), some of them very script heavy. Anyway, using this and turning of the ReduceSystemMemoryUsage option in enboost, in Win 10 (which caps the ram usage of skyrim to 4096mb anyway), has really improved my game's microstutters, it always ran at 60+ fps but without this patch I had some microstutters, now is silk smooth. Now I'm wondering if it's really this patch or the fact that I'm not using enboost.exe anymore. P.D: Anyway, here is another mod from the same author, which I think Gopher would love to have had in his lets plays https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/64588/?Kinda removes the total need of the lockpicking perk tree, and some artifacts, but for those who really hate the minigames, this is a blessing.

ELEP - Full Vanilla Customizable ENB (by JawZ)
Hackfield replied to TechAngel85's topic in Post Processing
I know it's kinda off topic, but since I saw EO in your modlist. I really think people should start using AllGearedUp instead of Equipping Overhaul and DSR (sorry Neo), but AllGearedUp can simply replace both mods and it's simplier, it can show up to 2 favorite weapons of each type (they doesn't need to be equipped like DSR does) and let's you choose the slots you want, just like DSR, but within game, on the fly, in a MCM menu. You can easily mimic the DSR effect by simply assigning only 2 slots (one for right arm, one for left+ shield) -
SKYRIMLE Anti-Stupid Shields Mod without DSR?
Hackfield replied to mikegray's topic in General Skyrim LE Discussion & Support
I don't know if it's less demanding, but it works better for me, I use it mainly because of the geared up thing, that shows each weapon that you have set as favorite. It doesn't work with followers unfortunately, for that I use the Auto Unequip Shield. Both should work with IA as long as you have the DSR shield meshes for it. -
SKYRIMLE Anti-Stupid Shields Mod without DSR?
Hackfield replied to mikegray's topic in General Skyrim LE Discussion & Support
Did you try this mod? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/66411/? Looks like it does what you want. Also, I'm using this mod instead of DSR: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/40953/? I find it way more powerful and customizable than DSR, it can show up to two favorited weapons of each (also if you dual wield, it shows both equipped weapons just like DSR does), and you can choose which slot should each weapon use, you can easily convert it into DSR by putting all right hand weapons into one slot and all left hand / shield in another slot. -
Black Circles, z-fighting and texture shimmering
Hackfield replied to torminater's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Well I don't know if this belongs to here, but, I'm experiencing some weird texture fighting/flickering/distortion in some terrain textures, in one specifically. I did try some landscapes mods, but I've uninstalled all of them, the only ones that remains are the ones it didn't gave me problems before (terrain bump, ruffled feather, no stretching, realistic water two and dyndolod) but the problem persist. And I've noticed this doesn't happen when I turn off the ENB, so my suspect is either some ENB configuration or maybe a bad parallax mesh/texture that remains in my data folder, but I've checked and I couldn't find anything. It is always this same texture, but I don't have this texture in my data folder, the only landscapes textures are the normal maps of terrain bump. Here are some examples: Normal vanilla texture https://i61.tinypic.com/ir1ibp.jpg Distortion https://oi58.tinypic.com/xdi6pj.jpg https://oi60.tinypic.com/2zz3qtc.jpg https://oi59.tinypic.com/2mjwcy.jpg Did anyone got this problem? Or anyone know what can be the cause of it? Thank you in advance -

Did anyone try Immersive Horses as a replacement for Convenient Horses? Looks like it's lighter, has the same features and it's compatible with EFF. -
Dynamic Distant Objects LOD - pre 2.xx
Hackfield replied to sheson's question in DynDOLOD & xLODGen Support
Your DynDOLOD .esp size is 2Kb, you either didn't run the DynDOLOD's Generate Worlds script, you ran it without selecting a world, or you didn't save the .esp afterwards. Looking at the date of the file, I'd say it's the first or the last case. -

I have to agree with Noevalen. There is no match for T3ndo's work, I really like the weapon variety, but it doesn't comes free, a lot of compatibility patches and reproccer modifications are required and finding o making them can be a pain in the ass sometimes. Ordinator doesn't have this problem, at least not as severe as SkyRe/PerMa, but it doesn't have the variety that T3ndo's work has and makes it unique. Either way, both have the same problem, most of the new perks are just clutter in the way to reach the worthy perks that, in the end, are the vanilla perks. Is not that the perks are not good, but some new perks can be replaced with enchantments or potions, they are just not worthy of spend a perk point on them. I find the dedicated system a better option, and I must say, kyptopyr's work is the best at it, so far I'm trying: Alchemy: CACO Smithing: CCF-CCOR-WAFR and Smithing Perks Overhaul (new perk tree #1) Sneak - Lockpicking - Pickpocket: Stealth Skills Rebalanced I'm also trying Archery Gameplay Overhaul, not really a perk tree, but it works, I'll probably add Elemental Arrows. It would be awesome to have the SkyRe Archery system as a standalone overhaul. I'm not much of a magic user, so I've not tried things like Wintermyst or Apocalypse. -
Disappointing Frame Rates (FPS)
Hackfield replied to Pillendreher's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Oh, I've missed that part. Thanks, I was worried that nvidia's fps limiter could conflict with enb or something like that. BTW, Inspector recommends setting it at 58fps (because of the input lag), is this ok? Did you find any problems setting the limit at 60fps?- 80 replies

Disappointing Frame Rates (FPS)
Hackfield replied to Pillendreher's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Hi Tech, wanted to ask you, what's the benefit of setting ENB's fps limiter instead of nvidia's? Because for me, the ENB limiter often gets turned off in certain places (for example when I look at Farengar's room in Dragonsreach, the limiter suddenly gets turned off and my fps goes to the sky) while with nvidia's fps limiter this doesn't happen.- 80 replies

SKYRIMLE Save game script cleaner by Hadoram
Hackfield replied to rootsrat's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I've been using this tool too, in a long (very long) playthrough, and trust me, I've done everything wrong: Started as a Ninheim, mid playthrough became a Custom Breton. Started with Better Vampires, ended up with vanilla. Started with Climates of Tamriel, went back to vanilla. Started with AFT, tried UFO, moved to EFF. And finally.. Started with Skyre, moved to Ordinator, ended up with vanilla. Each time I've uninstalled a mod, I'd previously run this tool removing the mod's forms, then I disable the mod, make a new save without the mod, and then I run the tool again to remove the orphan scripts, null refs, etc. Of course I had to make several console adjustments, but I keep playing the same paythrough without crashes. -
No, thank you for making all this awesome mods :)

Well, I don't know if you've noticed, but outside from the main quest, no one seems to notice/care that you are in fact the dragonborn. Even if you are the city's thane, no one will recognise you as that. As for the courier thing, I find this way more immersive, just like fast traveling or using carriages. That couriers seems to have a gps tied to your boots, he finds you everywhere, one should suppose that he will wait for you near your house or at least near whiterun, but no, he finds you even at the top of a mountain. Also, life doesn't turn around the dragonborn, no one should know who you are unless you've killed a dragon near them.

Ok, I'll do that

Looks like a really nice mods, and I think it will add a lot of replay value to Skyrim. What do you think? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/70142/?

GUIDE Fear and Loathing in New Vegas - Feedback
Hackfield replied to EssArrBee's topic in Fear & Loathing in New Vegas
I'm all for replacing Electro-City and Nevada skies for Simple Streetlights and RWLE. I'm using both in my TTW playtrough and they work superb, RWLE is a really improvement over Nevada Skies, and Simple Streetlights is not as heavy as electro-city, is not probably as immersive as electro-city (who fixes the lights in simple streetligths?) but it works for me.
