I found an error more than a bug. The instructions for making the Bashed Patch ask you to ensure that you have created a LOOT Meta for Water 2 and links to this wiki page https://wiki.step-project.com/Realistic_Water_Two you forgot to put the Meta Rule here. I am looking forward to playing this release of STEP, thanks heaps your efforts.

Just out of interest, are you running MSI Afterburner, or some other thing like that, as they dont play well with SKSE, and cause instant CTD. -

Thanks alot DoubleYou, as the *.tri are generated each game launch, will it do any harm to leave them? Or shall I delete them prior to each game launch?

Problem solved, it was not a mod causing the problem, it was the Bash.ini file. I made a mistake copying and pasting paths and left a . before the drive letter. BashBugDump.log is very handy. -

Interesting, thanks. I will try your fix, how-ever prior to updating MO everything was just fine. Thanks again, will post if solution is found. -
I just updated MO, and now when I launch Wryebash I get the following errors.(see attached pic) I can run Wryebash outside of MO just fine, only happens when launching it via MO. I have also tried reinstalling Wryebash.

I had exactly the same issues. https://forum.step-project.com/showthread.php?tid=4865 The load order changed as I was installing STEP mods. I hope this helps. -
Hey, thanks for all the prompt answers to my queries. I finished my STEP install, added the Weather Pack with an ENB, added a few other mods I enjoy. Thanks for your effort, awesome results. I have use STEP since it started ,having found this guide on Nexus the day I got Skyrim, so I have never played vanilla Skyrim, so this guide is my Skyrim experience. Thanks again for all you do,I am looking forward to some long hours of exploration.

God damnit, so you did, time to reorder mods for me then :)) Thanks guys. 1 more question: do i reactivate MoveitWT.esp and Traps Make Noise.esp after creating bashed patch? Wrye Bash deactivates them when creating the patch.

Ok, thanks alot. I swear I enjoy the actual modding process almost as much as I enjoy playing Skyrim. I have been using STEP since it began, its awesome to see what it has become. Keep up the good work.

it seems to have an issue with my mod load order not the plugin order. its the red exclamation mark beside the update icon at top right of MO to resolve it, it tells me: The conflict resolution order for some mods with scripts differs from the corresponding esp. This can lead to subtle, hard to locate bugs. You should re-order the affected mods. The following changes should fix the issue: Move RaceMenu after Traps Make Noise Move When Vampires Attack after RaceMenu ... ... ... ... ... Move Non-Essential Children after Follower Trap Safety if i reorder them as asked the warning disappears, but then the mods are out of STEP order. any ideas?

hi - i just reinstalled skyrim/step 2.2.8, i got to part 3, after installing all mods in order. MO is throwing up a warning about a "potential mod order problem". Is this really a problem?

Having recently purchased Fallout New Vegas, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas or links for a STEP type modding guide for Fallout New Vegas. This post is bound to be in the wrong place, please tell me where to move it to, or move it for me, or delete it if it violates any TOS.

I noticed that this mod creates a folder called dlc01 with auriel and dragonbone folders within that contain .nif files. Is this folder supposed to be called dlc01, I am confused as it contains mesh files, and meshes seem to be in the meshes folder usually. Will skyrim still find these meshes in the dlc01 folder? I am using MO to manage mods so the folder is displayed in the data tab. I have installed this mod following the STEP guidelines. Thanks for any help. -
I use COT and love it, the atmosphere created is awesome. I tried the winter version but uninstalled it due to odd snow textures - e.g. crisp straight edges on the occasional snow texture(snow on 1 side, tundra on other, straight line in between), and other irregularities. I have disabled Immersive Thunder as I could find no definitive info on COT 3.1 and Immersive Thunder 6.0. Is there any definite answer? Â Â Â I like the immersive thunder sounds an awful lot. I came across 1 solution that suggested renaming and substituting the COT thunder sounds with Immersive Thunders, but that is way too finicky and inelegant for me, and any updates would to either would require even more work.

Thanks heaps for the info. I could not figure out why I was getting CTD's and MO crashing, then realised I had not re patched Dual Sheath Redux after adding the new patch between GDO and aMidianborn. All good now.

https://wiki.step-project.com/User:Neovalen/Skyrim_Revisited#aMidianBorn_Book_of_Silence guides you on how to make a patch (not a merged patch ala FO3 etc though) for this specific issue (and other issues for the specific set of mods included in Skyrim Revisited) Ok, I made the patch and activated it, do I deactivate the aMidianborn and GDO esp?aMidianborn still shows conflict with Dual Sheath Redux. Nevermind - I looked in the patch and it only contains the fixes so I assume I leave all 3 activated and let BOSS sort order.

I was going to ask if there was a Guide to creating a merged patch for conflicting mods - the video on TES5Edits Nexus page is not as clear as it could be. I would much rather create a merged patch than mess with my load order. But is my load order above correct?

Re:ALSO IMPORTANT: There is a conflict with Guard Dialogue Overhaul and the aMidianborn patch from this mod. To resolve this, either load GDO above the aMidianborn ESP or create a patch between the two mods using TES5Edit. 1. Does above mean before in load order? I have Guard Dialogue Overhaul.esp loading at ModIndex 56 and aMidianborn_Skyforge_Weapons.esp at ModIndex 57 at the moment. Is this correct? Thanks for any help.
